- Death Stranding really is a movie stretched out as a game. And I actually love every bit of it. I was prepared to have my opinion of this game switch up to be negative, but I just don't see that happening. I want to finish this Journey

AfroSenju XL after looking at some gameplay from other youtubers you can actually use your strand to tie them up if you sneak behind the MULEs and you can also parry with your strand
TIPS: when you knockout a mule and go into slow motion, hold r2 or l2 to quickly grab their cargo, which allows you to either beat them with it up close (by tapping square) or by chucking it at them from afar (by tapping square)
USE YOUR ODRADECK by constantly tapping r1 to KNOW/SEE whether the tarrain will make you Trip or not. Also scanning let's you see enemies
I wish you could make these longer, I get so immersed in the video that it's over before I know it, that's crazy you're videos are just Anime...😂

@Christopher Simon in my opinion story isnt wow its ok at best even if it was made to a movie it would be a good movie but not like mindblowing. Good cut scenes though, good graphics, and music. Gamplay however is super tedious and is just annoying with no real reward to passing the game hence the terrible reviews. Its not for everyone and pancake is essential right some people dig it some wont but the game doesn't have anything that is revolutionary sadly no real mechanics that make you go oh thats dope.

I'm on chapter 2 too, already saw all cutscenes and game play, still bought it and enjoying how difficult it is to move around and keep things in place for delivery.
I am in chapter 3 and I am seriously enjoying it. Yes it isnt an action centric game but I am getting a Mass Effect vibe. The art style, colors and just futuristic setting is so relaxing to me.
It’s definitely the weakest Kojima game I’ve played (gameplay-wise), still I’m enjoying a lot though. I’m in like Ch. 5 I think lol everything went by quick after Ch. 3 lol.

Was honestly worried you were going to say you dislike it since in the previous videos you seemed to be enjoying it more and more. Glad you're enjoying it and sticking to it, it gets a lot more fun and the traveling from place to place becomes alot easier.

Scanning while in BT area helps u see where they are at. Also scanning the terrain while walking also helps point out smooth terrain vs rough terrain. The latter will make it harder to keep balanced/walk smoothly. Love the vids my duude! To scan is R1.

Biggest advice I can give is when you unlock the ability to make zip lines, put on nearby every prepper and delivery location and then connect them together as you progress the story. By the time you get close to end game you'll never have to walk again. Also dump excess materials into building the roads. between roads and zip lines you should have to spend more than a few seconds between any locations in the game with your feet on the ground lol

Eastern region is tutorial zone. 10 hours.
Central region is the real game, unlock new content but also new challenges to trek across places.
Late game involves the other half of central region, Western end of it, so the game is actually really short gameplay wise if you cut out travelling.

Yeah it looked crap to me pre release, but playing it is very different. Its gameplay experience is enjoyable. Not sure if it's the best, but it's up there in the top 3 for me.

The first boom zoom thing is when sam senses a BT. He can not see BTs, the BB helps him see BTs
The spinny thing (Odradeck) tells you where the bt are, so just walk around them (slowly). Don't try and run or fight when you don't have the equipment. You can only see the B.T's when you stand still.
And you shouldn't kill the MULE's, because everyone you kill becomes a B.T, knocking out is oke.

You should optimize your cargo placement it helps a lot. And also you should hold square and drag on the map to set up a delivery “road” to follow in the overworld

the container's condition affects the amount of damage the cargo can take from a fall or impact.
i believe the condition of something related to timefall is represented by rust, and actual cargo damage is represented by how red tinted the yellow tape on a container becomes
