Welp. She's back. And her video explaining her past year was a giant WTF moment. Like social media was toxic to her mental health. And she immediately decides to use social media again ON TOP OF THAT, she couldn't stop plugging her patreon, cameo and other platforms. Like seemed more like she was trying to be more greedy. She looked better working at the YMCA than she did posting on CZcams. I don't know why she thought that update video was a great idea.

These last couple years are kinda smooshed together for me haha😅 summer of 2022 was a bad year for me going into 2023 a better year but then my mom passed away in October of 2023 so the year started off great best ever then really bad and it’s been sucky ever since 😢

I don't wish mental illness on anyone and it's good that she has recovered. But it wasn't all just self harm. I hope she makes an effort in the future to make amends with those she wronged now that she is in a better headspace. However, I'm gonna go on a limb and say that a lot of the issues came from her personality given from her track record.

She looks very healthy I am a mixture of intrigued to see her back but also nervous as well I’ve always rooted for her to grow and heal but at the same being an influencer I think brought out the worst in her and skewed her mental state and moral compass. I hope with this return she focuses on only posting when she has new music or posting artwork whether if it’s paintings or poems kind of take an Emily Artful sort of approach with what she posts because she has good music and her paintings are stunning and maybe an occasional Vlog here and there I hope she keeps her focus on that instead of posting the random influencer content I think being out of LA and moving back home may have been the right choice because in LA you’re ultimately competing against thousands of other people and much more is at stake because you have to pay a lot of money plus it doesn’t help Gabbie was very isolated and away from family. Honestly, good for her. She’s young and there is so much time for her to grow and get to know herself. A few years of bumps in the road does not make her a bad person. In the moment, sure. However, I believe we all have the ability to change, there just needs to be a will to. I’m happy for her and hope she continues to take life at her own pace. I’m also very happy that her fans are so supportive of her, I’m sure that means the world to her to not have the pressure.

Truthfully, I’ve never liked Gabby and she’s done some stuff I can’t look past. This is good news though, I’m happy for her. I hope this continues. It’s probably best she’s on social media as little as possible, or not at all.

She’s basically a random somebody, who got addicted to social media, but/and can’t handle it, while not wanting to be(come) irrelevant amongst the other 8 billion humans on earth.

Lastly:
You can easily have your music out there and get played, without actually being on social media. SoundCloud etc.
Then of course only your (anonymous) music would be relevant, not you.

I don't wish mental illness on anyone and it's good that she has recovered. But it wasn't all just self harm. I hope she makes an effort in the future to make amends with those she wronged now that she is in a better headspace. However, I'm gonna go on a limb and say that a lot of the issues came from her personality given from her track record.

Glad she's doing great---but it's so out of touch when people who are financially in a position to do whatever they want when they want can say things like "Do you because when you're dead you're dead!" Well that's fine, but some of us can't LIVE without working non-stop doing stuff we don't enjoy because that's all that's available. Like of course you're gonna say that and live that. You can AFFORD to do so. The reality of today is that most people CAN'T.
Before her whole breakdown she did this tiktok where she said ‘you gotta get a hobby’ and like ‘if you’re thinking about killing yourself, how could you do that if you’ve never been on a jet ski’ or something like that. When people told her in the comments how tone deaf that is and that most of the things she mentioned most people couldn’t just ‘go do’ she said everyone was just too negative. That will always be Gabbie, I don’t think she genuinely has the capacity to feel empathy for other people.
The lyrics were clearly about influencers and other micro-celebrities chasing after clout to keep blowing money and how it's not worth it; this is a reach.

Edit: i worded this very gently due to not wanting to ruffle feathers. After seeing other peoples comments; i’m so proud that people aren’t just forgetting and forgiving her for the bad things she’s done. She looks very healthy I am a mixture of intrigued to see her back but also nervous as well I’ve always rooted for her to grow and heal but at the same being an influencer I think brought out the worst in her and skewed her mental state and moral compass. I hope with this return she focuses on only posting when she has new music or posting artwork whether if it’s paintings or poems kind of take an Emily Artful sort of approach with what she posts because she has good music and her paintings are stunning and maybe an occasional Vlog here and there I hope she keeps her focus on that instead of posting the random influencer content I think being out of LA and moving back home may have been the right choice because in LA you’re ultimately competing against thousands of other people and much more is at stake because you have to pay a lot of money plus it doesn’t help Gabbie was very isolated and away from family. Bring back home let’s her reinvent herself and also be able to live much more comfortably without much being at stake.

Honestly, good for her. She’s young and there is so much time for her to grow and get to know herself. A few years of bumps in the road does not make her a bad person. In the moment, sure. However, I believe we all have the ability to change, there just needs to be a will to. I’m happy for her and hope she continues to take life at her own pace. I’m also very happy that her fans are so supportive of her, I’m sure that means the world to her to not have the pressure.
