- Hi guys!!
Step 1. In my winterize series.
How to video for those who want to connect a added high beam LED bar, and only use the standard controls to activate it.
Make sure you get a Relay that is a open style one, so it activates output when triggered.
T700 handlebar controls and switches are all going through the ECU, so they are negative based ( - ).
Yellow cable in right hand side headlight harness is the “high beam” trigger.
This is a negative trigger ( - ) and is the cable needed to activate the Relay together with a positive cable ( + ) preferably from a AUX port (3 wire free port on either left or right hand side of the bike).
Take your time, don’t rush it.
Add a extra fuse.
Make sure the LED is mounted in a good way so it doesn’t interfere when turning left or right and is high enough to clear fender under full fork compression.
This aux light is the best looking one for tenere. It keeps the sleek look of the bike.
I would put on/off switch to the aux light, but still control it normally from high beam switch. In winter your led bar might be frozen or covered by snow. Then it would maybe be nice to turn off.
Har samma Led ramp på min Honda Nc750x . Fick plats mellan frambenen precis.
Tx for your nice movies ,
you can get one off ebay for£15 does the same job. just wire it up from battery and put a inline fuse in and a switch on handle bar . very simple to do.
Hi man
Hi. I'm thinking put a led bar on my ténéré, and I've a question. It's possible to use the power connector on left or right side and a extra switch on handlebar? Without use the high beam switch to turn on and off? For this it is necessary use a relay or not?
Morsning! Såg telefon fästet du hade, vilken modell är det? 😀
Behövs det inget motstånd eller liknande? Räcker med ett vanligt relä? 😊
Whats the brand or where can I get that one
