Btw, use dielectric grease, PLEASE not bolt grease, AROUND the connectors instead of on them (on them may cause a short). It's cheap as hell and literally meant for this.
Great stuff. I love being able to take advantage of plug an play connectors. Did the kit say they were for the Tenere specifially or did you have to do some reasearch? I would love to find a source of infomation that would list all kinds of connectors.
I believe there are actually 3 plug and play connectors on the T7. The 3 prong I plugged into runs to a 10amp fuse.
The small 2 prong square I showed runs to a 2 amp fuse, used for a extra socket usb… phone charger.. ect
If you search “Tenere 700 Aux Connector” you will have a bunch of the 3 prong show up.
Eventually I found the 2 prong and have one on the way, as well as a socket usb with digital volt meter.
What is the other plug for? It looks like a 4-pin plug vs the 3-pin you hooked your GPS up to. And since it’s a 3-pin, there’s power and ground but what’s the third?

What?!??! you didn't want to add a whole another fuse box??? lol... Cool it already comes with a aux plug built in. One positive thing about newer bikes is they started adding that type of stuff at the factory. .
Yeah…. I had no idea until recently. This one specifically goes to a 10amp fuse. The little square one goes to a 2 amp fuse, more common for adding a usb style charger for a phone. Had a hard time finding the small 2 prong connector for some reason, eventually found one one ebay. Might at a usb socket in the future with a digital amp display.
