Hey! Sorry I missed your comment! You’re totally right. Leather quality and tanning method also play an important role in the process. In the design of our jacket we used aspects of this when we selected tea-core leather. However our excitment was over the weight of leather being 1.4mm. Kind of like heavyweight denim jeans our jacket is outside the normal range for leather weight. Heavyweight leather also fades in a way thats just as special as certain tanning methods. Kind of like crinkling cardboard vs crinkling tissue paper. :)
