@@supermusclemaniac1 If you go onto Schott Leather website it will tell you all of the different leathers that they use for particular jackets and what is available and if I remember right, for extra cost, they can customize their jackets also, shorten or lengthen arms or length of jacket, use different leathers than what comes stock on a particular jacket I think etc etc....

They're usually just called spread collar jackets. For a waist-length textile jacket where the collar stands up, it is called a Harrington or Blouson. -DrewZilla
you are saying he is wearing size 44 but
with his information 6',220lbs, 47'' chest, Schott sizing guide recommend him to use size 48 at least, why?

Your are 1000% correct, the size chart from them is inaccurate, according to their suggestion, I should buy size 46, lucky I saw your video and ordered a size 44 which is perfect for me. thank you very much, but how can we let all the others know their issue especially when they do not wana correct it?
You would think that a big time jacket maker like Schott who has been in business for many many years would know their size fit chart, especially since they probably deal with it on a daily basis, I don't understand why this is.

This is confusing.
I have a 40" chest and the reviews on Schott's website for the most part say that they ordered one size larger than normal and it was a perfect fit. Some say that they ordered true to their size and fit good but that they probably wouldn't be able to wear a sweater under it comfortably. For north of an $800.00 jacket I wanna know how the thing is gonna fit before I fork out that kind of money. Your review and Schott's reviews seem to contradict each other. 🤔
I would honestly stick to Schott's size recommendation of ordering 1 size up from your normal suit size. -DrewZilla

Call Schott, talk to Gail, then decide. Generous return policy. Order 2 sizes and keep the one that fits best.
The quality of Schott is really not good, I used to own 689H, 618, 641 and the leather easy to be abscission in the armpit.

with wear, as you wear it the finish to come off a bit and also the creasing will make the leather more matte
