The ones I find always get blocked are the ones with just you in it. I see and hear you all the way up until the video starts. After that the sound is muted and I don't get to hear the video. That's happened a lot.
I still love the episode of Saturday Night Live when Joe was musical guest and started doing Feelin' Alright and then John Belushi came out dressed as Joe (John's Cocker impression is legendary) and they did a duet.
Many saw that as a dis, esp. when Belushi offered Joe a beer. Joe had gone through a period where alcohol and other substances had been effecting his performances negatively. He reportedly vomited onstage a number of times. Joe was a survivor though. He got through that time and regained his edge.
I hope you and yours are doing fine, Brother. Joe's a legend. His Saturday Night Live performance with John Belushi should definitely be on the list. Have a great day.
Man I forgot how much I love that song, and how much it deserved every vibe you and your brothers showed. His arms stayed close to his body due to a birth condition, he didn’t have routine range of motion. Joe Cocker was at Woodstock, and was a large part of that show. He was young then, and here he is older. RIP Joe!
Joe Cocker "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" live at the Fillmore East, New York City, 27-28 March 1970. Joe Cocker, Rita Coolidge, Donna Washburn, Claudia Lennear, Denny Cordell, Daniel Moore, Pamela Polland, Matthew Moore, Nicole Barclay, Bobby Jones - vocals. "Feelin' Alright", "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window", "The Letter", "With a Little Help From My Friends" -- wow!
What a great artist and song. God bless Joe Cocker. R.I.P. You are missed. Great to see your brothers taken their personal time to enjoy the journey and keeping great music alive. Take care you guys.
Love me some Joe Cocker seen him many times live … It was said that once Joe sang a song “ It was sung” that was it and nobody could sing it like he did. Some of my favorites are “Unchain my heart “, “The Letter” and “ You can leave your hat on “
I was a huge fan by 1970. He was such an unlikely looking rock star from England and yet, he was so loved. Not, however by my parents hahahaha. R.I.P. xx
Maker of this song is very much alive and still rocking. Jimi Hendrix bunked at his apartment in London. He also plays that phenomenal acoustic guitar on All Along The Watchtower.
"He like James Brown stepbother". Now THAT is an accolade guys! Cocker was an epitome of the music crossover/mix of soul, modern-rock, country and delivery. Great to see you guys enjoying his performance here. Hey, hit some Charley Pride too; he was a terrific crossing over of soul and country.
Leon Russell conceived the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour where he hired all musicians and singers and directed the whole thing - he chose Joe of course - Leon was also brilliant on the Concert for Bangladesh
Love that you're actually WATCHING these old school videos, because you get to see all the singers and all instruments played. It is almost like being there when you get the VISUAL.
Hey Jamel. Check out Badfingers cover of this tune played live at the Royal Albert Hall, I believe it was 1972/73??? Badfinger knocked this song out of the ball park!!! Peace and love to you Brothers!✌
Thank you for reacting to this, Jamel. I just checked, this was shot in 1985 in Germany at the "Rock am Ring" Festival on the Nürburgring racetrack. And I was there with my friends. I still own the ticket. Thanks, Jamel for bringing back the memories 🤩. Love & Peace ✌
Dave Mason is the original writer/singer of this song. Exellent rendition by Joe Cocker. Others have also covered this song. Today you made Miss Maggie very happy! Thank you soooo much for keeping great music alive! I love the 3 of you. Your reactions are priceless. If you ever come east.. Feel free to visit.😊 you'll always have a place to stay. Again..thank you...I'm feeling alright! Blessings!!!
Sitting here in my Good Human hoodie and the notification for this popped up, I came right over. Joe Cocker takes me back to being a little girl, listening to music with the fam on my dad's big stereo ❤ Turbo & Ozone 😄
Joe Cockers voice was amazing...just so much soul and feeling...then you watch him live and see how he puts his whole body into it...just can't help but move to the groove...much respect...love it. .a true giant...classic.!!
Jamal This song is another cover. It is a Traffic song written by Dave Mason original song done by Traffic (Steve Winwood & Dave Mason) off of The album Dear Mr Fantasy
Happy Holidays to you too, baby. ;) LaRon is so smooth and cute and sexy yo! ;) But back to the music, lol, yes, I miss the days when music was colorless. You didn't know what color a band was back then, and you didn't care either!! Music was breath and life and freedom from a world full of ugly. I wish we could just get back to that today. We Need It!! God bless you Jamel for being so cool and bringing great music back!! And hopefully some great times with it!!
Hey Jamel, your brother mentioned the movie "Duets" It's worth checking out. The plot of the movie is several people going through the karaoke circuit trying to win money. All the actors in the movie do their own singing except Andre Brower. (Some really surprised me)
Have always loved Joe's gargle-with-razor-blades vocals! His body movements kind of remind me of Jeff Healey (another great blues singer/guitarist). Of course, Jeff had been blind almost all of his life, so never learned body movements from other people (as most toddlers do).

You know Joe had a medical condition that made him move like that
@@heavenbound358 No, he was just air playing all the instruments at once. He didn't have epilepsy or anything like that.
This is a cover of a song by Traffic. ritten and originally sung by Dave Mason (not Steve Winwood).
Anything joe cocker touched was golden.
I still love the episode of Saturday Night Live when Joe was musical guest and started doing Feelin' Alright and then John Belushi came out dressed as Joe (John's Cocker impression is legendary) and they did a duet.
That was amaaaazing. I was watching when that aired, I laughed til I cried it was soo funny. Belushi WAS Joe Cocker, it was awesome.
Yes, one of my favorites!!!
I got to see that! Do you have a link?
@@glasgavlen I remember watching it live too! Everyone in the room was just rolling around laughing so hard. Everyone needs to see it.
Many saw that as a dis, esp. when Belushi offered Joe a beer. Joe had gone through a period where alcohol and other substances had been effecting his performances negatively. He reportedly vomited onstage a number of times. Joe was a survivor though. He got through that time and regained his edge.
His soul is in that voice of his and he puts soul into his moves. That's a real performance when you're in 110%.
Sorry Cheryl I reacted as soon as the music started before reading any replies
This man was a genius at taking other peoples songs and making them his own. BRILLIANT!!
I like to say that Joe Cocker could make the originals sound like the cover version 8-P
He had plenty of his own shit AND, who doesn’t do this
One of Cocker's biggest influences is Ray Charles. You can hear it in him. Wicked talent.
So true. He loved Charles.
And his delivery was always an homage to Charles! Glad I'm not the only person that thinks that!
Joe Cocker doesn't just sing a song, he gives birth to it.
Fact.
Dave Mason who was in Traffic at the time wrote this tune.
Joe Cocker was the man! R.I.P.
I hope you and yours are doing fine, Brother.
Joe's a legend. His Saturday Night Live performance with John Belushi should definitely be on the list.
Have a great day.
I believe Jamel reacted to that video, but he should share it with his brothers. 👍
I luv this dude songs but my favorite is "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window"
Sweet creation I forgot how much I adore this song!! YAAASSSS!
Doooods !! You gotta hear Joe's rendition of Unchain My Heart. Best Ever!
Hello Brothers! I am the youngest of 3 boys myself. Nothing like brotherly love. Peace to you all and Merry Christmas ✌🏼✌🏼🎄🎄✝️✝️
You should turn them on to Unchain My Heart by Joe Cocker. 🙌🙏👍✌️
And "You Can Leave Your Hat On"
How bout Joe Cocker's version of Cry Me a River. One of his best!
I love watching you 3 jammin to the oldies
Man I forgot how much I love that song, and how much it deserved every vibe you and your brothers showed.
His arms stayed close to his body due to a birth condition, he didn’t have routine range of motion. Joe Cocker was at Woodstock, and was a large part of that show. He was young then, and here he is older. RIP Joe!
It's originally a Traffic song written by Dave Mason. Joe kind of owns it though.
Saw Dave Mason about 3 years ago. Gave Joe loads of credit for popularizing the song.
Yep.
"Alone Together" an all-time favorite album of mine by Dave Mason. Not a bad song on it.
@@zeppelinfan9360 When these media people make out these list of greatest albums, it's probably one of the most ignored and underrated albums in rock.

Always a good time when the brothers are together - thanks for sharing!!
Add a dash of Joe Cocker, and it’s party time!!!

Jamel n Bros, for a good laugh you have to see Joe Cocker and John Belushi on SNL. Love u guys. You bring me joy. ✌️🌻🤗
The gracefulness of his voice mitigates the gracefulness of his dancing
Joe's not the only one who's Feelin' Alright... know what I mean? 😁👍🍻

Love to see you turn the brothers on to The Weight w The Band & The Staple Singers!
Back-in-the-day... This sounded like 'Church' to me. Funky gospel church 💪
S#IT! If "church" sounded like this, I might still be going.
@@wilfbentley6738 😂 lol... If you go to a gospel church, ( typically ) the band is incredible, vocalist/ choir too.
English Ray Charles. Always great in concert. Love and light to you !
It's references like "Breakin' Two Electric-boogaloo" that keep me coming back to this channel for more.
(I saw it in the theatre. Twice.)
Joe was soooo unique...Great old song...
Wow you guys are rockin' tonight! Great tune again! Excellent!

I saw him at Woodstock 94, which this might even be, or around this time. He was AWESOME. One of the best singers I have ever heard.
You need to see the Saturday Night Live sketch with Joe Cocker, and a second Joe Cocker - played by John Belushi.
He is Fantastic 😊👆🎶
Great Reaction Brothers!
To a lot of us Joe Cocker it was legendary and in his own League.
Never spent much money on hair care products though. LOL 😏
Look a great old singer from the 70s Suzi Quatro
Yes check out "Duets". Also check out Joe Cocker & James Brown.. "I'll Co Crazy" originally quartered by James Brown.
Gotta love that piano groove !
He was sooo good! Thanks for the memories. ✌️
No less than Ray Charles said Joe Cocker was one of his favorite singers.
His lyrics and delivery are so amazing! I remember telling my friends try to escape the groove and listen just one time!!

You gotta watch John belushi imitate Joe cocker on SNL with Joe singing with him. It is legendary.
used in the movie 'Flight'
Joe Cocker had polio as a child, like Ian Drury, and it affected their movements as older people. Drury walked with a crutch, and used it in his act!
Listen to Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warren big duet. Up Where We Belong...the theme song from the movie, An Officer and A Gentleman

Love it! Thank you, men. Excellent choice of performance, too.
Yep. Duets is a good movie indeed!
I just saw an Aspen Dental commercial that was using this song.

Ray Charles called Joe Cocker “my one true disciple.” !!!
Oh. My. God(dess(e))(s)! You are so right about live performances putting studio performances to shame! ThT was nothing short of awesome!
Definition of groove .

Joe' Cocker takes another cover tune to a higher level. Traffic's original is great but this is Superb.
Joe Cocker could make the originals sound like the cover version.
