Joe cocker killed it!! Deep, raspy & soulful. He was one of a kind.
absolutely killed it
Mickey Rourke & Kim Basinger were two of the sexiest people back in the day.
9 1/2 Weeks is a great movie, but the end is sad.
Great tune!
Since you like 9 1/2 weeks, I'm sure you'd enjoy another movie of Mickey's, along the same line, titled Wild Orchid. His female costar was his wife, I just can't recall her name at the moment.
Yes!!! Love 91/2 weeks- told her above she should watch it!
@@cup_cuppy_cuppers5817 Her name is Carrie Otis. Wild Orchid can't really be compared to 9 1/2 weeks. It was a pretty bad movie.
Mickey is a good actor.
Cup_Cuppy_ Cuppers Didn’t Mickey do a couple of movies after 9 1/2 Weeks that were _sort of_ sequels?
I haven’t seen them because I’ve heard they weren’t as good.
A lot of people think of 9 1/2 as just a “dirty” movie. It’s much more psychological with, yes, many erotic scenes.
I find it timeless... you add a few cell phones? It could be released today, IMO.
Beautifully filmed.
'THE FULL MONTY'
Watch that movie.
Great movie.
Full Monty is awesome!! This is 9 1/2 Weeks with Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke!
I'm so glad that people know this film
a fun movie The Full Monty mmmm :)
Full Monty version was Tom Jones.
Joe Cocker and Rod Stewart, both raspy singers, always have the best music and musicians. Truly legendary players we do not often know because they did not get top billing, but made the tunes!
In 1990 I saw Joe Cocker open up for Stevie Ray Vaughan. Joe blew the roof off the building and then Stevie blew the building up!
Wow. What a great show
Every cover Joe did, he made his own.
Love this.
I would do it for Joe.Dont you absolutely love the sass n class of the backup singers
Joe said, leave your hat on and here's a cushion for the pushin!
Joe had a great style. R.I.P.
Randy Newman has written some great and interesting songs, this is one of my favorite Joe Cocker releases 🎶🎧
veronica carlson Here’s Randy Newman singing it. 🎧🎶. czcams.com/video/fXLYFQef7O8/video.html
Boy I remember the first time I heard this song.... I'll stop there😏
Your reactions are just so adorable. This was fun review :)
that was kim Basinger striping tom jones also did a cover of this song used in the film the full monty about male stripers funny film
One of my favorite movies, especially the end, what a sexy finish!
@@amys5408 yep
I love both movies. I think I was to young to see 9 & a Half Weeks when I did.
Back in the day when Micky Rourke was sexy hot and handsome....
My Joe, my Joe - never disappoints. Love your reactions to him
See this is why women can leave their hat's on , hats off gentleman .
What ! I'm a guy !
LOL That's ok baby don't apologize for being a MAN
All of Joe Cocker's backup singers have always been absolutely delicious gorgeous voices
Joe was a huge talent that surrounded himself with the best people. And the best people just wanted to be there.
Joe is a great, raspy singer. His rendition is a lot of fun. And the movie “9 1/2 Weeks”, I remember it to be a good movie.
I saw 9 1/2 weeks at the cinema, back when you could still smoke, pretty hilarious after every sexy scene and half the cinema sparked up :-)
The Letter by Joe is my favorite!
Thanks to Randy for the song, Thank Joe for putting the soul in it.
Omg 😱 it’s Joe! White boy killin the blues!! And, India I just dig your energy 🤣☺️☺️ 🎶
The best energy!!
Amen to that. She is just great!
Anyone who casually uses the term white boy is a racist piece of crap. You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking Joe Cocker is less of a man because of his skin color
@@thisguy1807 Annoying for sure.
@@empressink_ Yeah, it is! (Not really Asians) but a lot of people of color are hypocrites. If I went around calling black men "black boy" that's racist yet somehow saying white boy is perfectly fine... 😑
India you really make me giggle 🤭 your reaction was amazing 🤣
@Jo Smith, I totally agree, I’ve watched this particular REACTION video not just of India, but a bunch of similar types. I’ve rewatched this one at least a dozen times, and I find it THE most entertaining I’ve ever seen. Her initial “shock” at the tone of the video is amusing as all get out, and then she definitely gets into it (by her chair dancing and expressions). I find her many videos fun and enjoyable, but this one is just playful as all get out. India, you knocked it out of the park with this video. I thank you for that!
🤣😂🤣😂why O keep come my back.. she's awesome
I know, I love her reactions.
Love Joe. Saw him in concert during an awful storm and they had everyone get under the pavilion and he just sang and sang
Tom Jones does a great version of this also. It was in the movie "The Full Monty". This is from the movie "9 1/2 Weeks".
Love this.......from the movie 9-1/2 Weeks........Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke!
MJM MJM Eurythmics “This city ever sleeps” It’s in my playlist. I bought the damn tape!
I've never seen the movie either, but always really enjoyed the brass & those backup singers. Everyone seems so enthusiastic.
Great memory...... As a teen, my Mom took me to Tina Turner and Joe was her opening act. Pretty sure I was 1 of 2 teenagers there, who knew the songs. 😂. It was a terrific concert from start to finish. He sounded just as good in person. Well, you know Ms. Turner was outstanding too!
Wow lucky girl! I never saw Joe live, but I had the privilege of seeing Miss Tina live several times. She is the absolute Queen of whatever she does!
Better entertainer in her 70s than these young fools today! What was I thinking? Miss Tina is better than most entertainers of any age/era. Definitely the Queen of rock n roll ❤️
@@tracyjohnson5023 - he was phenomenal. Just sing, nothing but that lovely gravel voice. I agree, she outperforms anyone I’ve seen, other than Gaga but Tina had 35 years on her ;).
Joe's voice and this type of music=perfection ❤
You really should watch both movies that feature this song...I would love to see your reaction to them!
9 and 1/2 Weeks
Full Monty
Two great movies and one fabulous song.
1993-1996 - MASSIVE dance club hit in Paris! Everyone understood & sang the chorus (loud): YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR HAT ON! Hot buttered FUN.
Mickey Rourke before he jacked his face all up
Why did he do that? I thought hed been in an accident 🙄
I know, it's sad! He was so beautiful ❤
Great movie. A MUST see! Mickey & Kim are so beautiful to watch ❤
This is one of my favorite covers of this song!!! Joe got it goin on...🔥❤🔥❤🔥
This video shows the stripper scene from the movie 9 1/2 Weeks starring Kim Basinger and Mickey Roarke. That movie is naughty naughty!!! Especially the food scene!!!
Great movie! Mickey was so purty!
Yes!!! Hope she watches it! Me and my best friend loved it back in the day!!
I don't like toast and jam...
Lol still got VHS tape but no player!
Couldn’t look at honey the same way for years...
Another beauty composition from Randy Newman. Love Joe's cover.
I just found your channel girl and I loved it yes I'm a subscriber I loved the way analyze the music and keep it casual, I'll be looking for more of you reactions.
Joe is originally from Sheffield and recorded this for the film “The full Monty” which was set in Sheffield
You should also listen to Tom Jones version of the song.
True, Sir Tom can sing anything.
Tom Jones has a great voice but doesn't come close to Joe Cocker with this song
Randy Newman, yo
@@Tr1k1e He comes real close. He sings the same words and everything.
This is such a nice and naughty song at the same time. Joe Cocker and Randy Newman have similar voices, which made this song a really good fit for him too. I first heard it on an episode of a 1980’s sitcom, “Designing Women”. I liked the song on the TV show so much that I did Google and CZcams searches until I found out what it was. All of which made it such a nice surprise when it showed up on your channel. Really enjoyed your reaction. BTW: The writer of this song, Randy Newman, wrote and recorded a number of hit songs of his own. The one that comes to mind first is a song called “Short People”. The lyrics reflect a rather unusual sense of humor, but apparently a lot of listeners also had an unusual sense of humor since the song went high on the Pop charts for weeks. - I enjoy your reaction videos; so glad to have found and subscribed to your Channel.
These was the days!! Remind me when Boot Camp was over! Yes! Yes!
India, I love the way this made you levitate out of your chair! But why isn't the woman in the movie wearing a hat? ;-)
Easy. Since it's the ONLY thing, that she can leave on.
I envy your reactions. I grew up on so many eras of music incl this song. I would love to know how it feels hearing this for the first time.
great reaction video. Love good background singers in combination with a strong horn section.
Kim Basinger from the movie "9 1/2 weeks!" This song was the theme song for this movie in particular the strip scene where O'Rourke's character comes home from work and her character as his muse has a surprise for him and puts this song on the stereo and she strips to it!
India was having a moment she is ready to go !!
Once Joe gets hold of a song, nobody else wants to sing it because it has been DONE!
2 other good Joe Cocker songs are "Bye Bye Blackbird" and "Darling Be Home Soon"
This is a great version of this song.
You are by far my favorite reaction to this song..... your reaction is everything, girl you had me crackin up ok🤣🤣 definitely got a new subscriber 💯
Hahaha, I love that you did that song.
Love Joe Cocker....have you ever heard Steamroller by James Taylor? I so love your reactions....you have such an expressive (and sometimes 'cheeky', which is adorable) face.....keep on rockin'!
You are too cute with your reactions! Im having so much fun watching your videos
I thought I was starting to have a little crush on India. Then she rocked the Guns n Roses t shirt. Now I'm positive .
Love to watch your reactions. You feel the music. Saw him with Janis Joplin. One
of my all time favorite concerts.
Joe did this song in the nineties from the movie 9 and a half weeks. Love joe!
There's a few recommendations that r very eclectic....so first up Stevie Nicks when she went solo first is Leather and Lace and the next Crystal one...next up Heart song is Magic Man...and my man Gavin Rosdale who is the lead singer from the group Bush...and this group Aldo Nova their song Fantasy and System of the down the song B.Y.O.B and one more my son hipped me to this group 4 very Hot chicks all playing strings all their songs rock and the look like the r having a blast but all of these I'm dying to see your reaction and as usual u rock 🤟❣️
Great reaction I think we all reacted this way when firsr hearing this song. Can you imagine this in the clubs today haha
Yes actually cause I request it when I go in!!
Love Love Joe💜
Makes me want to watch the Full Monte.
One of your top 4 reactions!!
My favorite Joe Cocker song.
This song was in the movie 🍿 🎥
The Full Monty. Love Joe Cocker
😎😘❤️✌️
I love your excitement, keep it up ❤️
Joe Cocker....The cover King!!!
The man who wrote this song is the same man who wrote ”You got a friend in me” from Disney´s Toy Story - Randy Newman, in other words Joe Cocker (and Tom Jones) made a covers.
One of his best! He was a true talent, you should listen to his version of Van Morrisons' .."Into the Mystic" Also Tom Jones sang "You can Leave your hat on" as well.
I'm on a streak today watching reactions to this song. You are the first one that got it right away. lol When he gets to the title line I burst out laughing. You won't be staying. It's your body and your sex and your love & affection that I live for, and it means everything to me. But don't use it as a lure, because if you do and that wonderful thing you bring to our relationship ends once we're together, the chairs are on the table, you're out the door. And you already have your hat on. lol
Timeless!
Joe always had some great girls singing behind him. My fav was Maxine Greene !
perfect reactions everytime!
A great tune!
RIP Brother Joe...
Love your show India
How many times did u jump out that seat lol...Rockin a G&R t...yeah u nailed it Hon !
India your eyes were sparkling though this song. Very cool.
Hahahaha the best reaction in all CZcams!!! The temperature went high!!!!!
India you're the cutest...... love your reactions!
Randy Newman wrote this song and has the subtle nuances he was thinking about. My favorite: however Joe and Tom Jones did great renditions of it. Also Randy did it without the background vocals and movie views. Just his usual voyeurs' look on things.
Been scrolling down looking for someone who expresses my opinion about this song. Found it! Thanks, Bernard.
Ty Herndon also did a cover. Saw him in person do it.. almost passed out!! Too 🔥
Thanks now I had to go and watch The Full Monty again, I hope you're happy!
Been watching a while just joined as suscribed but I love your reactions thanks its from movie (and a half weeks Mickey Rourke and Kim Basenger
It was from the movie 91/2 weeks with Kim Basinger and Miki Rouke which was quite risque at the time.
You got my laughing on this onew lol
Michael Grimm also did a cover of this Leave your hat on. He does a great job. He won A. G.T.in 2010 .He didn't do it on the show it was later.
Go India go!
What a fun song that was.
You are awesome btw!
This is my all Time Favorite Reaction Video!
Summer in the City and N'oubliez jamais are great songs as well
The video was from the movie 9 1/2 weeks. Classic song and very interesting movie.
Ooo. This song! I once did a striptease for my boyfriend to this song, back in the 80's. Inspired by the movie, natch - and yes, it is definitely for adults. It's not quite porn, but it's as close as a mainstream movie is going to get! (Here's a fantastic song by Randy Newman that I think you'll get a kick out of: Political Science czcams.com/video/R5mAuPg1ZZw/video.html. Don't worry - it's a satire, very amusing!)
Muito bom esse filme !!
Strip scene from 9 1/2 weeks. I like Joe Cocker’s voice. He knows how to tear it up!
jajajajaja you are the best
'The Moon's A Harsh Mistress' .. Joe Cocker
