It’s a two for one special in this episode as I take a 1983 Matchbox Kenworth Cabover and marry it with a 1970 Matchbox Beach Buggy to make my own twist on a team transporter. I was never particularly fond of either as a kid so this needs a little bit more magic than usual.

Very impressive work. I have purchased hundreds of Hot Wheels and Matchbox in the 1960s and 1970s for my kids, in the early 2000s for a grandson and now have 2 twin great grandsons I have started purchasing for. I enjoy watching the work you people do on these toys

Massive job on thid project!!! The truck wheels dont look done judtice however, the paint job on the full project is sublime!! The Buggy transformation is just amazing, u truned it from crappy to superbuggy!!! Diggin the manx look just loved everything abt it! Great livery design really digging it!!

Superb and inspirational! This one gave me an idea of what to do with my well used buggy! I have a mint condition buggy too and i love it and the yellow plastic makes it very hard to look at, but i want to keep that one untouched!

This one flew under the radar. I saw it on instagram earlier last month, but only appeared on my CZcams feed today.
I came across one of these Kenworths a couple of years ago and it was in a terrible state. It was put on a back shelf waiting to find a use for it Thanks to your inspiration I've started to work on it. You work wonders with these little vehicles and I really appreciate your work. Thanks again.
Way better than factory Chris. Buggy looks fantastic. Had a couple of the kenworth truck and trailer as a kid. Used to do my head in as well with the scale.

That's a cracking transformation, when I first saw the transporter I thought it was rather ugly but after a visit or three to your grinder you turned an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan IMHO your scratch building is very thought provoking huge thank you for posting this video, it's got me hooked 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺 regards Pete in Lincolnshire ✌🏻
Glad you like it.... As these were all mine as a kid I tend to lean towards the ones I hated rather than liked to modify. I too thought it was a pig and out of scale but hopefully turned it into something better.

Absolutely kin LOVE this amazing buggy but the Kenworth cab over transporter is Amazing I had 10 12 of these as a kid I loved them but ain't got any now n I found one in antique shop a while back but think they wanted a tenner for it so weren't gonna happen but watching your video has got me on the hunt again so yeah I Love this Great work Stay Safe FULL SEND U.K.

I love the Autobot Transformer reference, nice touch. The G1 was my favorite animated series from the 80's. Not only that, I still own alot of the original toys, including Optimus Prime.
The truck you build, reminds me of Ultra Magnus.
I had a Lamorghini Countach toy Transformer as a kid, but for the life of me I can't remember the animated series!
@@SidewaysKing75 - The animated series arrived in Portugal late 80's, so I have a great memory of it. And I still have the scars that the animated movie gave me when they killed Optimus Prime.
I had the 'Supersatr 217' set,was decent,you got a stock car,pick-up but never liked the solid wagon bed...couldn't turn properly!!,lol..Again very nice job mate,RedBulll livery makes it look legit.

awesome. :) now we have a Rad Bull team! ^.^ this is the first buggy I've ever seen with the headlights on, and you just shaved them off. XD well, they do look out of place.

I think matchbox' convoy trucks were meant to go with H0/00 scale, which is why they never fit into any other matchbox series. majorette did a similar series for a while, and those were stated to be 1:87 scale, but they sat way too high on their too-small wheels in favour of a suspension, and I think they were more a 1:72 scale.
