Everyone complaining about reliability...my dad owned a Sport HSE for 7 years, and it hasn't had any problem. Never had the need to change the engine; we went from Naples (southern Italy) to Austria for holiday, and really often my dad had to go to Germany back and forth for work. When we sold that the total kilometers were over 400.000km.
The one's complaining can't afford them!
We also have land rover discovery,,and its too good machine,,,we don't face any problem in our car,,

No, he's right, and it's not just the Americans who say it (look at Top Gear). Land Rovers have always cost far more to maintain and repair than the competition, and are often nowhere near as reliable.

@@betterbeavailable That's one way seeing it and what JUKE meant, but consider this: He might have meant that how annoying it is to have a car that's constantly in need of repairs and eventually, after so many repairs (at the dealer or doing it yourself) you get to learn so much about what's wrong with the car and after a while, when something breaks again, you just know "oh crap, that sound indicates there's problem with this and this thing". Meaning you're near qualified mechanic after certain period of time... if you own this car :D

Hadn’t had any problem with my 2016 Range Rover Sport Supercharged V8. Every year goes to the local Land Rover dealership for an annual service. I believe people let their Land Rovers to be work by mechanics who aren’t certified or have the right tools. I felt in love with the nice ride and the design inside/ outside.

I doubt the trend will end. Big wheels allow for big brakes, which help deal with one of the drawbacks of such a heavy car.

Hi Mr.Doug there is a great feature you forget to mention it in the screen that we have in gulf space ... the passenger can watch a movie during the car running while the driver can't see the movie ... the driver will see other normal driving page on the same screen in same time.

Doug, what about the Range Rover impeccable off road prowess? I own a Land Rover and take it off road about every 3 months. It exceeds most standards in terms of off road terrain response technology and especially comfort. I have never been stuck on any moderate to advanced off road trail and it seems to push through with strength.
But does it come with a bumper-to-bumper warranty? 🤔🤔🤔

Doug: THIS is a 2018 Range Rover Supercharged Long-Wheel Base.
My mom has this car except the sport version. One time she was driving to work and the whole car shut off. Both screens shut off, the steering wheel locked so you wouldn’t turn it, you couldn’t start it, nothing happened. We paid almost $10,000 to replace all the electronics because some of the wires caused the whole car to break down which sounds unbelievable. After that a few days later, the suspension collapsed. All I know is that the price was hefty and I don’t remember at this moment. Then the next day after we took it from the shop, the transmission wouldn’t shift into gears. I heard this was a common problem with these cars. Keep in mind that my moms car is a 2018 and just got it 2 months ago. When we took the car to the shop for the first time, our courtesy vehicle was a Discovery. And the rear started sagging. We had 2 other courtesy vehicles but didn’t have any problems. Then the same problem where the car shut off happened again. When that problem happened, my mom noticed the horn failed (that happened before the second time it shut off.) We just traded in the car 2 days ago and we bought a Mercedes GLE.

That full-length suv would be great for road trips. I have a 2014 LR2 base model, nothing to brag about, and it's now 55K+ miles on it. From Missouri, I drove it to Seattle, Wa, up to Vancouver BC then through the Canadian regions all the way to Toronto. Came back down to US through Minnesota. Another road trip from Missouri to Portland, Maine, took a ferry to Nova Scotia, drove up to Cabot Trail, back down to NB and up to PEI. Came back down to US through Maine. The only problem to report so far is the difficulty of ungluing the dead bugs off the bumper and windshield : ) I've only replaced the 4 tires and rotors/pads...typical wear and tear materials. If my LR2 behave, I'll take another road trip to North/South Carolina and that would complete my road trip to all 48 states(except for Alaska; too far to drive from MO will do cruise ship instead). As for HI, been there already. And if I drive up to Quebec, that would also complete my trip to all the Canadian regions...except that I probably won't go there; I was told there's not much to do/see in Quebec. :) Many would quick to judge the LR2 with its 4-cyl and wimpy turbo but I will tell you that it races out of Rest Stop with 4 passengers in, full cargo and AC on high, without any hesitation. And, with a tap on the gas pedal, the turbo kicks in and it will go from 80mph to 100mp passing multiple 18wheelers with ease...uphill too mind you. Speaking from true experience here...and too bad LR decided to discontinue the LR2...best LR in my opinion. No issues to report so far...it's a keeper!
