I don't quite know what was more entertaining. Watching Cam McAzie work a pair of bagpipes like I never imagined they could be played, or reading the comments of some "traditional" pipers hating on this guy.. Not once while watching him, did I ask myself: when that man in a skirt with a bag of weasels under his arm, will quit torturing the weasels and making them squeal so terribly. (For all of you traditional pipers who just don't "get it", that last part was a joke)

granted and i take your point, but its two different worlds, sadly traditional pipers will alway put down anything thats different . my late father (Tom Fletcher) was a traditional piper who could make the bloody thing talk to you, but, he always had a go at anything out side the "norm", bad piper is not trying to go down the road of trad, but is trying to show how versatile the pipes can be in the right hands,
so because he dresses punk and doesnt do tradional bagpiping hes an embarrassment hmm i dunt think so he just took the bagpipes to a new level, and trust me real pipers are open to shit like this i know i spent the whole fist half of my life in England and Ireland they are really open bout shit like this, i think hes fucken amazing

Music is about personal preference not about what it should sound like unless we are Bach or the like then it may be different and even then people bastardise classical music all the time now. Technically probably a very accomplished player but to watch for more than 2 or 3 minutes... as boring as batshit! There's some real sour grapes out there in Pipeland.
