@umanair2724 *any shiny boosts... Encounters help, but it's still rolling the same dice with the same modifier, so to speak. Just more often

Mimik’s luck is actually outrageous! Like can we all just appreciate how insanely lucky getting the Tera shiny, as well as the lvl 100 magikarp!???
I like how ShinyCatherine spent literal hours on end trying to get the one hundred shiny magikarp but then Mimik just goes, but what if faster?
Can’t wait for area locked part 3 with dlc 2. Hope you get at least one starter shiny during that one, since they’re all coming back

When you mentioned the lv100 karp spawn, I went "no way!", booted up my game, flew there, and found a shiny Quagsire lol
You should do part 2 and part 3 of this, changing regions each time (so you get the center, Mimik gets the north and so on).

This has become SUCH a comfort video for me, it’s just so enjoyable to rewatch. Obviously the solo area locks are great, but the energy that Tos and Mimik bring to videos that they’re in is incredible and so so fun, y’all have a great dynamic and wonderful synergy. You had a pretty commanding lead, Noki, but I guess Mimik was destined for victory as soon as she found that Shiny Tera Vullaby. Still a great race that featured some great shinies.

Nokimon catching 2 shinies within an hour is wild to me. That's exactly equal to the total number of natural(unboosted) shinies I've found in 24 years, 27 if you include Blue pokemon (before shinies were in the game but transferred ones to Silver could be shiny depending on some hidden values).
I envy Mimik’s luck. I think I’m at 10 shiny sandwiches looking for shiny Vullaby, and she not only finds it, but it’s the Tera one, at full odds.

Area locked is the best pokemon video series I've ever seen. I'll admit when you said that Tos and Mimik were going to be in it and it wouldn't just be you and your funny jokes in every area I was hesitant, but this was so awesome. I love your area locked by yourself but also when you bring in your friends. The way you three go from being great friends to bitter rivals, then back to great friends in a matter of seconds is hilarious.

Mimik got pretty luck finding that shiny Stantler at night. I found mine in the day right near the small bamboo area, and let me tell you, you can barely see that thing during the day. The green of Stantler and the grass is nearly identical in the daytime, and becomes MUCH more noticeable at night when the grass turns darker.
I did not expect Wildfire to start playing during Tandemaus evolution. Great song choice XD

2:00 hearing music from one of my most favourite video games of all time is a pleasant surprise
14:41 I feel compelled to say this now:
Toss your lead pokemon at your target while being BEHIND it, then use Spore if the target isn't Grass type. Toss a suitable pokeball and done.
The rear-throw causes the target to forfeit its first turn and to DOUBLE the catch rates. You can tell that it worked if you get the message that the target 'was caught off guard'
I love the OSRS soundtracks like the Gauntlet one :)
I tried the olive roll and got it in about two minutes after a few attempts, but it did find a little micro glitch that was insanely helpful! You dont have to get the olive in the basket, you just need to shove it up to the side. All you really need is to use the shortcut at the beginning wnd push it onto the ledge, and get it to the final area, and youre set :3
You best know that Noki is getting back at Mimik on the next shiny quiz :)
This video made me think about how rare a marked shiny must be! I went to check my shinies and I do have one with a mark! A shiny Altaria I caught in the Terarium-he has an Uncommon Mark! Thanks for leading me to realize this, Noki!😊

Nice. I've been doing a shiny mission quest myself without sandwich boosts either, not allowing any story progress until I get one.
Seen tons of "DLC but I only use shinies" and it feels they all use shiny sandwiches, so feels nice to see someone just go "yolo" with charm odds only as well. Not a complete nightmare of full odds but also not supremely easy...and I'm a bit of a hoarder.
When you got the first shiny, the Magikarp, there was also a shiny Bombirdier off to the right, *black beak*
This reminds me of my Shiny Hattrem. I was like, "maybe I'll find a shiny on this little area here" and there she was.
So the tie breaker was the specific shiny I got today.
Also, I would have thought that getting a rare evo from sparce or maus would have been two points, since it is twice as rare as a mark at 1/100 compared to 1/50
