I got all except 13 and the bonus, I was thinking of mantines shiny, and I was with Tos for 13. Never trusting him again. I think for the secret it is flyiny

I actually memorized the pattern on normal vs shiny togekiss, so that was the first thing I looked for because I KNEW he would do something like that.
always remember that the colors of togekiss' ears are mirrored for the shiny!

Considering the fact that I’m not a shiny hunter and only occasionally watch shiny hunting videos I’m really shocked that I managed to get an 11, really shows that the Gen 4 shinies is pretty iconic
Just the fact that I knew every single shiny in this quiz tells me that I spent WAYYYY too long in Legends Arceus. This is the first quiz in which I knew every shiny. Even Shellos, that was in fact, second ever proper shiny hunt. I will never forget Mint.
I hunted for shellos too, just that it was in sv. I just remember it been the must painful hunt cause I was never sure if it was shiny or not. So I was sure it was the right shiny in the quiz lol

It’s the fact that I knew Togekiss’ shiny went blue then red makes me so happy, that’s one of my favorite Pokémon of all time

Also Staraptor's hair dye color always seemed to be more of a blue to me, but I can see it as more of a purple too. It's right in between.

I remembered getting a shiny budew and thinking the purple was nice so I picked that for the bonus. Turns out it was just a different purple

12/14, that gastrodon one was crazy hard and the bonus one got me with the lake guardians having gold eyes
Honestly shellos was really easy for me I don't even have an east sea on but it looks so clearly off that I feel like I would have noticed how weird it looks if it was real. But that bonus was tough I have all of the shiny lake guardians and I still got it wrong

@@roadrunner5549 Yeah, I figured the dark green stomach would stick out even to people who hadn’t seen the shinies. (As an avid enthusiast of all things sea slug I memorized all four so that question was extremely easy for me lol)
i cant believe i actually got curse type arceus immediately. didn't do so hot on the quiz itself but the bonus was easier than expected

These quizzes are a super fun way to test my knowledge on shinies, and im happy that i ended up with almost all of them right for my favorite gen! Only one I got wrong was the shellos question, didnt expect that. These are super good!

Got it 100%! The Gen 4 games are the ones I spend the most time hunting in, so I didn't have much trouble lol. I almost got tripped up on 13 but I couldn't see anything wrong with the other three, so I just guessed Togekiss on a whim since I always get the blue and red places on it mixed up.
Was very proud to get every question right up until the bonus (I didn’t look at Azelf’s eyes and knew it was that or Purugly). The typeless Arceus however is a completely new fact to me.
I was so confident I got the first 11 right and then missed every single one.

Only missed the Togekiss one - and then that one only after convincing myself that the Platinum sprite for Magnezone was the correct and original Gen 4 sprite. Dang those sprites that evolve over time!
I was so confident that was the original red/blue locations on Togekiss, but the missing color on the magnets got me.
You know I’m glad Magnezone came up twice. The first shiny I ever caught was a Magneton in New Mauville in OG Ruby, and after I transferred it to Diamond I KNEW it had all black magnets. When you showed the one with R/B magnets I thought I was crazy lol.

NGL I was so proud of myself for getting the Togekiss one! After the last challenge and the stunt with Relicanth I just thought "what's the most diabolical thing that could be done with these shinies?" and switching the red and blue while keeping the shiny's off white was it...that was it. XDDD

Legends arceus was the first game I shiny hunted in so I did pretty well this time! Loved the bonus question, always fun to learn obscure Pokémon facts.
this quiz really showed all the hours i put into pokemon pearl as a kid, never shiny hunted, but loved to look up what a lot of the common encounter pokemon shinies were and videos on the good, the bad, and ugly shinies

I feel proud to have gotten a lot of the questions right for someone who has never completed a shiny hunt, tho I do watch a lot of shiny videos
I know the shiny forms of Leafeon and Glaceon very well, specifically because I love how more vibrant shiny leafeon seems than regular leafeon. It's subtle, sure, but it's nice.
I got four questions wrong there. That first Magnizone really caught me off gaurd since I have the shiny in SV, and it didn’t have those colours in its magnets. Didn't know it had actual coulour in previous gens.
These videos are so fun and its honestly kind of amazing how many I see and immediately get right just based on vibes. Either that or I have a secret library like knowledge of shiny pokemon I'm not aware of that I pull out of my brain EXLUSIVELY for these vids

I am so glad that I knew Magnezone immediately because he was my absolute favourite pokemon in Gen 4, and shiny hunted him across all the games that I could! I also knew the rest on that Master question. Very proud of that
That was really fun and a great test of Shiny knowledge. I was playing along and I ended up with 12 points. I had no answer for the secret question and also never knew that even existed. Great video!

WOOW good one! I finally got everything right, (usually only 1 or 2 wrong) and am feeling pretty good about it. Shellos was full guess mode and I actually thought you changed the shade from brown to green on Togekiss so guess I was lucky there haha. I've been inspired to make my own shiny quiz for my friends (sprites only lol it's what I'm good at) and I'm excited to see whatever your next video is!

I was so proud of myself when i was deciding between magnezones magnets being wrong, or togekiss colors being swapped and i went with togekiss (and the arceus too)
Got the first 5, failed ALL of them after, except for the final test. Knew the moment I saw it, exactly what it was gonna be lmao.
I was so confident with that magnezone question towards the end, i would’ve been arguing for a point

The Gen 4 shinies are sooo iconic, I could pick out what was wrong because I knew the right ones - whereas in Gen 3 I could more easily pick out a fake.
No roast or anything, but on question 8 chatot's eyelids are actually the same yellow as its beak...kinda hot me, but staraptor still more obvious.

You, Tos, and Mimic, should do a minigame where 2 people use the synchronize pokemon option and pretend to be a pokemon, and they have to switch pokemon every 120 seconds without getting caught

YOU CANT GEET ME WITH A MAGNEZONE AS I HAVE SUCSESFULY CAUGHT A SHINY MAGNEMITE IN EVERY POKEMON GAME I HAVE PLAYED
gen4 was where i hyperfixiated on shiny hunting, and we see them so often that I didn't get tricked on any of the questions. I got Togekiss just cause I had to study the pattern changes due to Arceus where I now have 4 shiny togekisses lmao.
I will definitely say though, it can be kinda easy to tell which ones are wrong by looking at the shading/tonal shades of the edits. So if you worked on those a bit more, it'd make it even harder! (as an artist I can definitely pick up on the clashing shading so its almost a cheat for me on some of these if I'm not 100% on them)
far and away your hardest quiz . gen 4 is where my shiny knowledge starts to wane , apparently . 9/14 + the arceus question . amazing video as always , and a very clever final question
After working on a shiny living dex in legends arceus, these shinies were far easier to guess than the previous quiz
The more of these I’m watching, the more I’m questioning how I can memorise hundreds of shinies but not remember the security code I got seconds ago.
The second noki said that its gonna be easy if you're a flying type fan on the first hard one i knew that staraptor is gonna be there. And i knew that he would mess up its blue emo hair thingy since any other change would be too noticeable.

I got literally so excited each time I got one correct. This is the first time I got 100%! I was insanely nervous on Mismagius and Togekiss but I laughed hysterically when Tos said Mismagius for the gems as well! I just knew we were right after that. Love these videos keep up the great work!
