Yeah, I went around 3 days without a shiny with charm, some perfected entries, AND doing MMOs once.
Noki's charm decided to act up during the race I suppose.
Edit - Though yeah it is really good, even with there being two competing, without charm it can get pretty one-sided as we can see, luck factor or not.

NOT KIRLIA! Also as a side note I have failed many a shinies in this game, but that is why I have autosave on, because it always goes back to the same camp before I find the shiny, but the shiny still being registered by the game

Legends Arceus is the only game where I have autosave on, it has helped me save so many shinies

Her losing that shiny kirlia is like a flashback to me finding my first alpha shiny which was a kirlia. As soon as it popped up on screen I was so tired I forgot to save before going around the area and it fled immediately. Big sad

My first shiny in Legends Arceus was the Alpha Blissey in the first area. I was terrified and so stressed because I didn't have everything unlocked. I didn't even have climbing available yet
That same thing happened for me with the alpha Lucario… I was like I’ll just pop over and check it ohhhhh my god!! Haha awesome video as always!

I almost never go into battle to catch pokemon, I go full 1vall mode with sticky globs. Not only is it more fun but yeah, they usually can't just run away and disappear. Good video! 👍

Hey Noki, I was a little late to the party, just life and stuff, but after watching this video I decided I wanted to do a shiny locked challenge, specifically in Legends Arceus, just for myself, not to record or anything. Playing Legends Arceus again I was reminded how amazing this game is. I also remembered I never beat Volo or completed the post game, so I set out to do that first. While gathering wood for Cogita in the Heartwood, literally as I landed I heard the shiny noise, turned to my right, saw a green cascoon rolling toward me. While doing the massive mass outbreaks quests in the Alabaster Icelands I did an Oshawott outbreak, just a regular one, not a shiny one, and a shiny Oshawott appeared immediately, walked straight up to me, and went in the first ball I threw at it. Finally while finishing up the Unowns, I went to capture Unown K and a Blue Ralts appeared beside me... I'm not counting ANY of these for my challenge, but I now have the Shiny Charm and intend on starting the challenge soon! Love your videos and thank you for getting me in Legends Arceus again!
my first shiny in arceus was a goomy in an outbrake while trying to get to star level 5 and it ran. After a week i commplete the game to 100% and then went on hunting Mode for it i found Goobert(shiny goomy) in and single outbrake exactly a week later. don't give up on the hunt mimik

What's really sad is that I'm relatively sure Mimik could have reclaimed that shiny Kirlia by using the backup save mechanic. By pressing X + B + Up simultaneously, the game allows you to load a backup save.
In Legends Arceus, loading the backup save will place you back to when you had entered the area, which means any shinies that were on the map but had been fainted, ran away, etc will be back.
I've recovered a shiny Chimchar before this way 😅

I also love shiny Carnivine. I don't mind shinies that don't change too much, and I really love how swampy shiny Carnivine looks. It looks especially like a plant you'd find in a swamp.

7:48 Geodude reminds me of the crazy luck i had few days back , one day i found a shiny graveler in an outbreak but failed it because i saved in front of the outbreak and the next day i found a shiny geodude in outbreak , shiny graveler randomly and a shiny alpha golem , that was the craziest day ever and in total that day i found 12 shinies , graveler really felt bad after i failed it lol

A random shiny alpha is amazing to get. My first alpha shiny was the alpha infernape. I was just flying over the island to get somewhere and heard the chime, flew down and there he was in his blazing red glory.

I laughed so much when you got the shiny Luxio 2 minutes after being on the slopes of the crown, because something similar happened to me in Pokémon Scarlet, using fast flight, when spawning I turned the camera to the right and I got a shiny Swablu
I went back to legends arceus a couple weeks ago just to do some outbreaks and see if I could have some fun because I was bored, not even in one of the outbreaks, I just happened past it while going to an outbreak, there was a random shiny alpha hippowdon, on the first area I went to, I was very excited xD
Completed my Shiny Locked Challenge:
Total time of challenge 4 hours 50 minutes and 52.1 seconds. (No mass outbreaks or massive mass outbreaks, just Shiny charm)
At 1 hour 20 minutes and 4.36 seconds I got a Shiny Alpha Kricketot for my Obsidian Fieldlands Shiny.
At 1 hour 45 minutes 51.95 seconds, my game crashed.
At 1 hour 51 minutes 37.07 seconds I got a Shiny Bidoof for my Crimson Mirelands Shiny.
At 1 hour 53 minutes 33.26 seconds I got my Cobalt Coastlands Shiny. This one has a funny story, as I reached the Coastlands I noticed that my two shinies were both pokemon I had a perfect for their pokedex page, I thought about what other pokemon I had a perfect page for and laughed and said "watch this Shiny be a Starly!" As I'm flying a Starly catches my eye, it LOOKS shiny but I didn't hear the sound or see the Sparks, I decided to dive down to take a closer look. As I did, it made the sound and showed the sparks to which I exclaimed "I was KIDDING!" I barely explored Cobalt Coastlands, Starly for my shiny!
Coronet Highlands... at 3 hours 45 minutes and 14.69 seconds, I finally found a shiny. This area is FULL of pokemon I'd like to get Shinies of and with having gotten a shiny right after my game crashed and almost immediately upon entering the Coastlands I was excited, but I didn't have the luck to keep at it. I was tired of seeing these rocks and alphas when flying by the alpha Gabite, I heard the shiny sound, I froze, desperately looking for what it could be, and almost as if Noki gave me their blessing, I see a green disc. Shiny Bronzor for my Coronet Highlands Shiny.
At 4 hours 50 minutes and 52.1 seconds (it was actually sooner than that but I was shocked and took a bit to press pause on the stop watch) I got a shiny Bergmite for my Alabaster Icelands shiny and completing the challenge.
Thank you Noki for inspiring me to do this challenge. (I didn't even intend to get a shiny Alpha)
