- I put all my shiny legendary Pokemon into Legends Arceus using the new Pokemon HOME update version 2.0.0, and wanted to see what they looked like as shinies in the Hisuian region. It looked AMAZING.

“fateful encounter” is only there for event mons. giratina doesn’t have it because it’s a static legendary.

the fateful encounter tag is only used for event pokemon, and is also a flag in the original DPPt.
Due to an error, Shaymin caught in Pearl version do not receive the fateful encounter flag, making them seen as illegitimate in the eyes of pokemon bank. this means that a Shaymin from Pearl version can only transfer to BW, B2W2

I think the reason why regular Arceus looks so great with the Spooky Plate is because the white creates such a dramatic contrast with the purple. While the yellow on shiny Arceus looks nice it isn't as bright as the white on regular Arceus, so it doesn't look as intense.
I think Giratina’s doesn’t say the faithful encounter thing because it’s not a mythical. I’m so happy about this update and I love it. Glad to see you’re enjoying it too

As someone who's first ever game was pokemon Diamond (been hooked on the pokemon franchise ever since), bdsp was a bit of a let down for me seeing what they did for other remakes like oras

Shaymin acreus and darkrai are technically event pkm since you need to do specific things outside of regular game play to get them. That's what met in a fateful encounter means. Usually it will be in a cherish But there's a few exceptions over the years and a few events were released before the cherish Ball was made.
I was waiting for you to try to use the orb on the shiny Giratina to see if it could transform into Origin form. That would have been nice to see in this instance.

Yeah they can!!! I got a bdsp palkia (since I'd traded away my palkia for another giratina) and it'd allowed me to put it into origin forme. I think it should work just fine for shinys
I'm not sure if they patched it, but apparently shiny origin forme giratina can't use shadow force. It doesn't mean that it won't be allowed, the game will crash while mid animation. I have no idea why but it happened to me and I thought I broke my game 😅
@lpm3570 I don't belive they ever fixed it sadly. Origin forme giratina will always be my favorite and shadow force is a great move. It'd too bad origin forme shinies crash the game. Wish someone would make a mod that could fix this on my emulator copy of PLA.

I think the pure white looks absolutely stunning, but the Shiny one has its place and still looks sick. Arceus is just a stunning pokemon in general.

I legit just put my shiny creation trio and arceus into Legends Arceus just to see them there today too. Arceus did look pretty washed out though but the screenshot looked much better.

I transferred all the shiny locked Pokémon into my game. So i got all the mythical Pokémon the legendary Pokémon and the alolan vulpix and ninetales. Pretty happy about it honestly!

Question, did you have to capture darkrai in legends of arceus to be able to transfer a darkrai with Pokémon home, or can you just transfer a darkrai over?
well, ya need to catch one in arceus first i guess, cause i cant transfer my darkrai to the game. to encounter darkrai in PLA, you need to have a BDSP save file, so... i guess there's that

Are you able to feed the transfered mons like your shiny arceus grit and mints? To "EV Train" it or change its nature and transfer it back?

Idk about Mints but effort levels don't affect stats in other games.

I’ve been shiny hunting every single Pokémon in PLA. I thought there was only one I couldn’t get (Enamorous)- but it turns out I missed the Shaymin event…
Shaymin and Darkrai are obtainable in PLA if you have save data from other games. If you have that, you should be able to do their quests anytime.

Getting the creation trio shiny and all the event shiny on BDSP was so GOOD while did put them in legends look at there Shiny Orign form legendarys and such going keep in Bdsp for now to have some fun online battles and such

It really is tragic they made shiny arceus the way they did. I think if the body became black , the under belly white. And the yellow and green swapped as well. That would be a sick shiny.
only the body could be changed because the plates change the color of the underbody and ring.

@@user-xw7is5yb5q yeah I know, I have them. Shiny locked means you can’t encounter them as a shiny. Eternarus is also still shiny locked as are the urshifu forms and keldeo (for the dlc)

Hi, a question I'm new to PLA, the way to achieve a Shiny Arceus is by ending the game with the full pokédex entries (10) and then soft reset many times until the shiny appears?
No all legendarys are shiny locked

Because I got my shiny Giratina into the game and whenever I tried to use Phantom Force with it the game automatically crashed.
I searched the reason up online and in some forums I found the same answer - which is that this specific animation for shiny giratina was not in the game.

I think psychic plate would be best strategically because it counters Arkoos's weakness which is fighting
Arkoos changes type to whatever plate its holding, so it wouldn't gave a fighting weakness anymore but bug,dark and ghost instead
