I had the same issue a while back. I checked my oil pressure, changed the vtec solenoid, changed out the vtec pressure switch, bought the two-screen filters. For some reason, I could only get vtec to work if I disabled Vtec pressure switch in Kpro. If that doesn't work, I wonder if you have a faulty ECT sensor? It could also be that the K series is known to have a weak TPS when it comes to vibration, aftermarket engine mounts make the TPS more prone to malfunctioning. Intermittent TPS problems will cause intermittent Vtec issues.
Have you tried replacing your vtec solenoid? If so, did you check the pins? Might be corroded. There is one more that I experienced and that is your cam sensors. That is also another issue I had when I couldn't get into VTEC. You can switch those sensors around and see. I'm cheering for you! I wish I didn't sell my kswap turbo em2 😭
Ya the vtec spool valve is new and I checked the pins when assembling the engine, I figured it out after shooting this video I will be taking it to the Dyno soon I was able to figure it out with the data logs I took in this video
This is the best channel for Honda performance I have found so far, everyother channel doesn't appear to know what they are doing.
