I think we can all agree that of all the things listed in this video, perving on quiet seems like the only activity that isn't time-wasting.

Your buddy the horse doesnt just poop for the fun of it. You get the horse to pop on a road where youre expecting a jeep or truck and it spins it out of control, leaving you to fulton it, or CQC the occupants.

+TREBLEBOOSTER65 I think in terms of Snake's controls, it is definitely the best, but the gameplay gets really stale after a while and the story and characters are just lacking compared to other MGS titles.
this metal gear was the first one i actually played and now im in love with the franchise

Actually, if you complete Mission 11 Seven times, capturing Quiet, She'll come back!!! That was included as part of Patch 1.06 a few months back, I believe.

I've been putting work into mgs v, it's a good game with lots of things to do.

The most fun I had was almost getting caught but taking advantage of the op reflex mode, it's a life saver.
+Angelus Errare I agree on reflex mode. I understand why they decided to put it in - because baddies can see you from practically anywhere. But it ends up being an easily abusable mechanic.
I was against these ideas when they were first revealed, but Kojima was right, the game is pretty brutal without Reflex Mode.
Reflex mode is 50/50, it doesn't save you all the time and it is tricky getting those headshots in, so yes I welcome its addition along with the tagging.
I agree, good thing Kojima put them in there so we can get used to the game first. I'll probably learn to play without them eventually. But right now, I've been using them and they're welcoming additions.
+IceDoesntHelp Until you get spotted by a guy in full riot gear or a heli, or 3 guys at once. It's an anti-frustration measure. Besides, blowing a guys nuts off with a shotgun in slow motion is just too fun.

Smoking the cigar doesn't only look cool but it's really been helpful as sometimes the screen is too dark and I want to play in daylight. It's small features like this which make MGSV a goat game.

noarom02 True))) Besides playing during the day you are kicking yourself in the nuts. Yes you see what happens on the screen better, BUT enemies see you even better. In other words difference between you watching at night period and day period in the game is smaller than difference in enemies sight during the day and during the night. At night they are almost blind as a kittens so why not use it?

I love how you can play as women in single mode campaign, Metal Gear Solid V: TPP is the only game in the series which allows you to do so.

So if you hold up two soldiers, there's a chance that one could counter attack you or is that just unique to child soldiers?
my very first hold up turned around and slashed me and there was only one guy so my guess is that it's random
+Bobby easiest way to tell is it pay attention to the heroisn points.
If you hold somebody up but you dont get the usual +5 heroism its guaranteed that the persons gonna retaliate and alert the outpost
+Bobby They'll often lower their hands, indicating that they're about to counter you. If you react fast enough to it you could counter attack their counter and knock them out.
+Bobby Just look at the triangle on their head, if it is still red, that indicate he will perform a blade slash. Grab him or knock him down to prevent him to do so
Or you could you know, put some c4 on his back and run.

Grant Manor I just hate the total stealth missions :(
Shane Walsh I never did any of the replay missions, I'm not quite sure how you trigger mission 46 but I think you just need to get about 50% completion. So do lots of side ops, listen to lots of tapes, (yes they do count towards completion) and upgrade mother base a bunch and mission 46 should eventually pop up. Good luck!
