- The annual LEGO Brickvention Exhibition ran over the weekend (18 and 19 of January 2019). I went along and filmed predominantly the train layouts along with some other displays that I found very well made. Overall the exhibition is of very good quality with a wide variety of displays. Personally my favourite display was the massive train layout as there was accurate trains, modular buildings and scenery to real life.

Hope you enjoyed!
I like the Thomas Legos at the beginning of the vid Ryan Evans did an amazing job with the customs
Yeah, his customs were amazing and I certainly learnt a few techniques from his layout.
Thanks for watching!
It is great that they are on sale as they are all very good models and would make a very good present. Which one are you getting? I would rather build one myself because I find building one yourself more rewarding. Hope you enjoy the Lego and your birthday.
Thanks for watching!
That's a shame about the old train, but your new plans sound great. I'm sure it will be a great project and hopefully very rewarding. Can't wait to see/hear about the progress! Good luck!
4:26 is my favourite 😊
Oh for sure, all the layouts were amazing and articulate, but that one especially! The time and effort it would’ve taken to build definitely paid off!
omg who made those aussie trains
The layout and a majority of the locomotoves come from a group called the Victorian Railways L Guage Modellers I believe.

Thanks for watching!
Nice, I was there also!
Cool, it was a great exhibition!
Is there like instructions I can find for the lego melbourne metro train (white, blue and slight yellow one) I rlly wanna make it
Yes there are some instructions for the R class in that livery that can be found here:
www.capitallocokits.com/product-page/vr-r-class-spirit-of-progress-livery
It may not be the exact same but it’s very similar, you can also find other products on that website!
Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!
@@TrainsWithAdam thanks for replying, however I was not looking for the r class, looking for the like metro Melbourne train instructions, know where I can find?
My apologies I misread your original comment. I had a quick google search and couldn’t find anything, I think the metro trains are quite unique in lego, so a good idea to build! You can still use some of the images of the train to design your own I guess, but it’d be a lot harder. Once again sorry for misreading your comment, and hopefully the construction of the train goes well for you!!
@@TrainsWithAdam ok thanks for the help and keep up the good content!
Thanks for the support it’s much appreciated!!
4:22 I realy want to see that black steamengine up close and see bow it was made!
Like most of the trains on that layout they're very, very good! There are some instructions on how to make an R class like that online which can be found here:
www.capitallocokits.com/product-page/vr-r-class-spirit-of-progress-livery
I'm not 100% sure its the same but it will use similar techniques.
Definitely consider going when we are allowed to with the virus! Thanks for watching!
Where abouts is this in Melbourne and what time of year does it run?
This was held at the Royal Exhibition Building just north of the CBD. This is normally held around the 19th of January, but with Covid the date and time may be different for the upcoming event. I’d strongly recommend going as it’s a great event. Thanks for watching!
@@TrainsWithAdam Thanks Man, can't wait to go sometime.
No problem, definitely worth going to watch if you get the chance!
