- I know, it's been a while!
I've been swamped these last couple of weeks. LEGO has had to take a break for a while; I've still been working on projects, just haven't been able to add anything new yet.
Over the Easter weekend, I attended a train show with my LEGO club, Melbourne LEGO Train Club. I had a really fun time running models, which not all of them I filmed running. I did get some shots of my 85 with Alex's Australian DD locos: flic.kr/p/2ehSERP
I hope to reveal my LEGO ideas project as soon as LEGO gets back to my last email. The whole process has made me a tad unsavoury, but hopefully, they can resolve the problem soon. Other stuff like HTB vids and running videos will come after that.

Also, I know the thumbnail shows the P2 (which did run), I just forgot to take any other photos... I was having too much fun :)
Honestly with the current situations I’m suppressed these are still going ahead
@@lego_kitsune Down here we're pretty ok. We had to quarantine for a long time, but it's definitely been worth it considering we have our freedom back.
Also, Australians good job with covid, no one in the show was wearing masks, many the uk is doing something wrong
@@lego_kitsune We are no longer required to wear masks, apart from a few places. As of today we've only have 1 active case in the last 14 days.
@@Britishbricks mask dont even do that much anyway
Beautiful trains and scenery. Narrow gauge is very interesting
Thanks mate! The narrow gauge locos are awesome to watch, just super hard to build ;p
That was soo smooth trains love your music too British bricks
Thanks mate, nice to hear you also liked the tunes as well!
it looks incredible! The music is pretty great too
Awesome to hear, thanks mate :)
Fantastic video as always! Love the camera shots.
Thank you very much! Hopefully they weren't too shaky or blurry. Did rush the filming of this one.
I love that Aussie tram, and I’ve seen one in san Fransisco!
Some stunning shots of some stunning trains, the 85 looks amazing👍
That theater is amazing.
A LEGO work of art! Alexander nailed it!
0:14 i love this locomotive
They're super sweet, I've linked the photos in the description.
Wish I could’ve gone, gotta love the MLTC and their layout!
You really do! Some amazing builds displayed as usual!
@@Britishbricks I’ll have to join the club one day, right now, the only thing stopping me is that I can’t get myself there, and I live abit far to be dropped off, still, something to look forward to in future.
wooooow very nice mockup
Thanks we try our best!
Lovely video. The layout looks spectacular. And the stock looks great too. Love seeing your BR electric run.
Glad you enjoyed it, one of my favourite layouts we've had!
Definitely one of the coolest LUG layouts out there. Always impressed by Alexander's work.
Couldn't agree more! Cheers Owen!
That's wonderful!
The details are crazy!!!!!!
Cheers Axelus!
WOOOOW!!!!!! GREAT!!!!!👏👏👏👏😀😃😃😃
Cheers Andrew! :D
Looks amazing, even better in person!!
Thanks Jemima!! Glad you liked it :)
It all looks very nice. Class lego builds man👍
Was hoping to see your electric entry on here. We need a video of it soon!
I didn't take it because I usually have problems with my Buwizz battery box at shows. The bluetooth connection often drops out for some reason. Will try to include it in the next running session!
@@Britishbricks Please do, It should have won the brick awards section it entered in my opinion!
Great work so much detail
Thank you very much! :D

9.41K subscribers Wow! My name is Jamie Olberding (I'm actually from Iowa which is a state located in the United States of America) and I'm actually a HUGE fan of model Trains. I have to say............ These LEGO models of Classic and Modern European Steam, Diesel, and Electric Locomotives look both very amazing and also very very very realistic. As a kid growing up I used to watch "Thomas The Tank Engine" TV Series all the time and that's where my love for trains started (That is until sadly.... they stopped showing "Thomas The Tank Engines" TV Series in the U.S for unknown reasons, until I figured out that the TV Series itself sadly got cancelled, which is a shame).
Thanks Jamie! :D
@@Britishbricks You're welcome. By the way............................ Could you please do some more LEGO Train related videos in the future..... also, what are your favorite things you like to build out of LEGO's as a hobby might I ask out of curiosity?
I never noticed the lamps on the P2 before, genius!
spectacular!
Omg finally.Love it.
Thanks mate! Glad you liked it :)
Yes. Love these videos
Cheers Jaeden, glad to hear!
I mentioned my E2 Class moc before, and bringing it up, I've always wanted to bring it out to one of these shows. It doesn't have a motor, so it'd need to be pushed, but it runs fairly well. And, an update since my last comment about it, I think I finally set on a design. It has a cab accurate to the E2, and I even gave it internal pistons, which I got as an idea from you!
All I have yet to do with it is change it's livery. E2 were never bright red, so I want to make it either green, brown, or black. Blue is an optional livery
IDEA: do a realistic take on lego 7740 intercity train. If you could do this it would be so interesting!
Sounds interesting!
4:48 That tour guiding locomotive reminds me of Tamica in Thomas and Friends as Thomas visits the wildlife in Australia.
Wait! Since when was there a LEGO Train show in Diamond Creek and why didn't I hear about it?! Dang it!
Some of your MOCs on the move! This is impressive
Thanks!
I was on vacation in Melbourne and built one of the locomotives on the Puffing Billy Railway.
That's awesome! Would love to see it :)
@@Britishbricks since I live in Hungary, I built a lot of Hungarian locomotives!
I saw a lot of Australian trains. A couple from puffing billy, and a Victorian Railways T class. So my question for you is, are you Australian, and what if so, what state?
*edit*
Scratch that, I just searched it up. But WOW! Your trains are just incredible!
Cheers Max, yep I'm an Aussie from Vic.
Underrated channel
Appreciate it! :)
I love the train on 3:56
Hi british bricks!,also nice engines
Thanks Oliver!
OMG that’s amazing :o 😱
Thank you!
I’d love to see more narrow-gauge trains
I want to give it another go but boy is it tricky to pull off!
@@Britishbricks actually those little locos britishbricks made are miniature gauge
Amazing video!
Thanks mate!!
Impressive 👍👍👍👍
Wow!
I'm really interested in that tram line switch / paving. It's so smooth with no gaps. Hoooowww. And what switch is that?
I think I recognise some other models made by the guy who won the BTA with his W1
They may look familiar but different builder, these models are Alex's, not Ewout's :)
wow its awesome!
Thanks!
WOW these are very nice engines the designers ncluding you di amazing with them.
Thank you very much!
@@Britishbricks Oh no problem the p2 has t o be you best modle yet.
I hate it when i miss type.
I honestly didn't know that the train shows were still going on. If I'd have known, I would've visited.
Ah well, there is always next time. Great video by the way mate.
The scenery that you can make out of Lego is just mind-blowing.
I love these kind of videos.
PS, are the other engines that were running made by Alexander
Hopefully next time aye. I love doing videos like this too, so nice to have some scenery with the trains. Yep, he ran his S Class and modified crocodile!
I hope to get a job soon, so I can start working on my engines + rolling stock. Then I might be able to join to.
I thought it was him, his models are beautiful.
Cool
It has bin a long time good to see you agen
It has been a long time, good to see you again too!
it looks awesome I wish I was there.
Thanks, it was!
Wow
Yes, very much yes.
Double yes, is a double win 🌟
I most like Lego steam locomotives! I should try build one! ;)
That would be great!
Nice video mate i was there on the saturday i have also done a video on what i saw what day did you go?
Saturday as well!
Nice trains
U should try and make a br class 37, or a 55
Thanks mate, will think about it!
Sounds good
To be honest I don't the name of trains but I'd love to see the type of train Gordon is from Thomas as a moc
Who made the lovely narrow gauge locos that were being carried around?
That would be Alexander: narrow_gauge on Flickr

Beauty of Australia
just wow....
It's a lot to take in!
Nice
Thanks!
This looks so amazing. In Germany all Events are cancelled. This is really bad. I wish Corona will find an end this year.
Hopefully next or the next year
Sad to hear, lets hope we can beat it soon!
@@Britishbricks I wish
There's something like this in Britain? Where is it? I can come see, i live nearby
I'm so sorry to tell you that I'm not actually British, and that this was filmed in Australia. I really need to change my channel name (it's because I only used to build British trains). If you want to see some awesome LEGO train layouts in the UK please visit the LNUR website or visit their Instagram/Facebook/Twitter page instead :)
Hey britishbricks do you think trained bricks send shipments to south america too?
I'm not sure, ask them :)
@@Britishbricks ok thanks
3:25 ello narrow gauge engines!
Do you have any plans to build a 9F?
Yep! Just will be a while till I do!
3:07 LEGO Molly the Yellow Engine
Built by Andrew!
Was that a lego mock molly
U need to put in on sale I would buy it
My Favourite loco is the br class 08
A classic, you'll love my ideas set when it gets published!
Can you do a romanian electric locomotive?
Sadly, I can't make your MOCs even tho you have instructions because I don't have enough parts.
Let’s see, stuff owned by BritishBricks in this video:
Your first electric locomotive, 4 BR MK1s, your E2, and some of your rolling stock.
That would be it!
@@Britishbricks is there gonna be a part 2 to this? Perhaps with your ‘Prince of Wales’?
Everybody Love trains
Remember me when you get famous.
Will do ;)
like .
This looks amazing!!! But why does it look a bit like fake lego? Just wondering
Which part? The wheels on most of the steam trains aren't LEGO or rods.
@@Britishbricks aah thats why okay Ty :)
Where is this?
Diamond Creek - Victoria, Australia
@@Britishbricks oh aha. I Can't go to there because I live in The Netherlands! Its on the other side off the world. 😥
Is that your layout?
I wish! It's the club layout; where everyone contributes a different module.
@@Britishbricks oh.
Aren't you working on one though?
Pls make Lego Henry the green engine and your locos are amazing
2:38 That guy seems he wants 2 b an annoying golfer🏌️♂️🏌️♀️ ⛳
Can you send me prince of wales
4:48 That tour guiding locomotive reminds me of Tamica in Thomas and Friends as Thomas visits the wildlife in Australia.
Cool
Cheers, Matthew!
I love events like these, but they're never near where I live.
Sad to hear, hopefully you'll make the trek to one soon!
Will you built a LMS black 5 or GWR engine?
Black 5 no, GWR engine of course! I have lots picked out, just taking my time per usual.
