Thank you so much for watching, most of my videos are time sensitive , that means I try to go places when there is a better chance of having the best views and experience. For example if I go to a seasonal waterfall and you decide to visit but when you get there it’s completely dry that’s a bummer. Same thing if I show wildflowers blooming, you visit and they are long gone!
Right after I go hiking I post my videos as soon as possible.
That’s why it’s very important that you subscribe and a active the notification bell so you won’t miss a thing!!

I hate that people feel the need to tag on the rocks 😠
as a local I can't stress this enough. Also all the garbage that people bring into the lower creek by the station. Pisses me off
@@defsergYeah I remember back in the mid 90's how bad the east fork would get trashed with literally tons of garbage from ignorant visitors. Does it still get like that?
no kidding. Same with the Kern River. Used to go up there in the 80's and it was beautiful. Now you go, and there's trash and diapers everywhere. If you are trashing the environment like that, you deserve to get hit in the head with a hammer
Just as bad
@@fabiansandoval6132 Terrible! WTF is wrong with people?
I have lived very near here for 66 years. In 1969, there were horrendous rainstorms that were nonstop for 2 to 3 months, and Baldy Village was nearly wiped out. The whole area was under water, and overflowed the San Antonio dam, forcing residents of north Upland to evacuate. I'm SO happy to see the beauty of nature returning to Mt. Baldy Road. In high school (Claremont) we used to go up there and go skinny dipping (it was the '60s, after all), and 50 feet from the road, no one could see us. I think I'll try to make this hike, if I can. Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!!
Thank you 🙏
Looks like there could be gold around there.
This is exactly what happened including the evaculaton. We lived on 18th street West of Euclid.
I remember digging mud out of houses with the Boy Scouts, Troop 607.
I live close to this trail. My family and friends have been going there for more than 20 years now. It has definitely changed. There used to be less people in these mountains. More people visit now and that is great and all but it is sad that there is whole lot more trash and graffiti. It is kinda sad to go and see it like this from what it used to be. From broken bottle to dirty diapers in the water. PLEASE PEOPLE IF YOU VISIT THIS TRAIL TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU.
I second that, please people TAKE YOUR TRASH !!!
those graffitis made me cringe
Can I take my 1 year old
@@MrsChivis not all the way to the waterfalls since going down to the creek it’s steep rocky terrain and may be not a good idea for a baby, but at the beginning of the hike there is access to the creek which it’s an easy one. Thank you for watching 🙏
Most of the people here , including myself, speak one language. Yet you, clearly a speaker of multiple (and no not based on the accent) has taken the time to explain it in english makes me appreciate you. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kindness, I’m so glad you liked it!! 🙏
Outstanding video ❤
@@Rajatyunn333 Thank you for watching 🙏
I have heard that Bears and Bobcats have been sighted a lot lately and that hikers are being cautioned about hiking. Apparently the abundance of rain from the storms has caused the wild animals to become more active in foraging for food. So glad you came out unscathed!
I work up there and yes, there are many bear and some Bobbies, but i've never had an issue with them. Bear are typically in the middle of the night or at sunrise, then maybe sunset. Bobcats are middle of the day from what ive dealt with and theyre not even curious of us. they just walk away from humans. Don't worry about any of that but it is definitely wise to hike with Bear Spray when hiking near mt. baldy. Youll 99.99% never use it there but precaution is always wise.
Your background music is so soothing, great with the waterfall
Thank you 🙏
That water is SO clear!

Your officially our new virtual hiking Amigo ❤❤ This hike at Stoddard Falls was one of our favorite trails to date !! Hard to find a better local hike adventure. Thanks for your tranquil and peaceful way of capturing nature and it’s beauty ❤❤❤
Thank you my friend, it is a very beautiful place indeed. You also great videos 🥾🥾
I grew up in Downey but moved to Northern California in 99 and now i get to enjoy the mighty Sierra Nevada mountains. I still miss these spots in the San Gabriel mountains and i want to come down to experience them again before i check out. 💀 Sad to see all the graffiti everywhere. I remember when these areas were pristine and not well known. Thank you for posting sir. I subscribed!
My pleasure, thank you for watching 🙏
The problem is people posting these areas just like this video. IG has especially ruined nature.
You’re not missing nothing people destroyed the san Gabriel mountains people have littered people have graffiti Azusa canyon looks like a dump ground you’re not missing nothing. Sad
@@JustMe_1_ not true, there are still areas that are good and pristine, just hard to get to. But yeah azusa is sad and stoddard is starting to get there. Social media doesnt help.
Even before social media people with no respect for nature or others came here and trashed it too 😞
This is absolutely excellent and beautiful work you did on this...
..from the filming to the narration,..its all perfection..... a totally immersive experience ..
.. keep on adventuring...
Thank you for your kindness 🥾🥾
I so appreciate that you posted with instructions and demonstration of directions and what the trails is like in real life! Been looking for waterfall hikes and places to take my daughter and dog! Gracias!

Thank you for sharing this information with everyone.
That’s a good video good job and good job letting us know the difficulty before starting our hikes 👏
Thank you for watching , check my other videos!
Yes! Especially for those of us who are mobility limited! Wish we could do it, but have to see all fall/trip risks (rocks, boulders, beautiful naturescape distractions, etc) to assess if we can really do it...or not LOL the natural pools look absolutely magical. Such cooling and calming waters, I"m sure refreshing after an intense hike! Thank you for such great work, even the reminders are perfect (pick up your litter!)
Thank you so much for your kind comments, I’m so glad you liked my video.
That’s also the purpose of my channel, to hike virtually with me in case you can’t be there for whatever reason. Best wishes for you 🥾🥾

Very beautiful water falls
Glad I found this channel, you have a lot of cool local places to check out! Appreciate the safety warnings too 👍🏽
Thank you 🙏
I’ve lived in so cal all my life and never knew this existed!! Beautiful! Thank you
Thank you for watching, if you go please make sure to leave it clean!! Pack it in-pack it out. There are some people that are very upset from me showing it to everybody and think that because of this video it will get trashed.
I used to come here when I was in highschool in the 90's. Was not uncommon to come here on a weekend and be the only one there, or maybe see a few other people. Hiking spots were mostly word of mouth or through books. I used to love the solitude of these places but it seems like those days are over for the most part. There was graffiti back then too but not as bad... If we increased the penalties for such things guarantee it would change society for the better but we seen to be doing the exact opposite. Strange times we live in. Thank you for the video, really enjoyed it!
Thank you for watching 🙏

If you're in the area of the first pool and tunnel the water goes through next to the parking lot 2:25 , please be on the lookout for a Samsung phone in a red case and a pair of prescription sunglasses. I fell last week and my phone got washed away into the bridge tunnel and I lost my glasses somewhere in the area as well.
i saw it it was crushed and underwater
Gonna be heading here tomorrow- ever get returned to you?

@lopezexplora Just subscribed and i definitely will. Looking over your list of vids now. Just started hiking about a year ago myself. Enjoying trails from Tahoe to L.A. Been a few times maps took me to locations that weren't quite right, so it's really nice to have little details like you share to get where you're going. Been trying to help people out the same way when I review trails. Thanks again.
Gorgeous water, I may have to visit.
Great video , great information, great narrating very Charismatic you put the viewer there with you
That’s exactly my goal!!
Thank you for watching 🙏
Had a blast up there in the 80s. We'd take the water fall down with one beer in each hand the slide is perfectly safe and trying to climb back up you need to be surefooted and hang on tight to the cable one slip and you are a gonner. I was just there two months ago. Never thought I'd be watching a video of it on CZcams 🎉🎉 God bless you for sharing this beautiful Creek where I used to go once we took acid another time my brother ditched me and I had to walk home back to Chino😅
Thank you for watching 🙏
😅
i grew up near there ,thanks for the memories. the waterfall there in the rock is a water slide at the top we used to slide down and than fall into that pool also we used to jump off the left cliff double the height of the falls and my favorite was learning how to rock repel down from above on the right side cliff down to the rocks below .
Thank you for watching!
Omg same we used to jump off the cliff into the pool it was so wild
vary beautiful places too relax an forget about everything
That’s right, there’s nothing like nature 🥾🥾
Thinking of going tomorrow because of your wonderful video. It’s amazing how much we have near us and not know what we have.

It does steep, descent to the falls. It is also loose rocks and boulders that can break away or be dislodged by hikers or small tremors.
