📚You can use looting enchantment to get higher rates from this farm.
📚If you want to build this farm on the land be sure to start the building at y = 240 and if you want to build this farm on top of the ocean you can start the building from y = 140.
📚In this design, you can add more layers but it's not efficient 2 layers are the recommended number of layers.

For anyone looking to save over 4 stacks of trapdoors, when you are making the ceilings, you do not need to put one over the slabs or over the trapdoors that the cats sit on.

Wow amazing farm! I haven;t calculated the rates yet, but I'm wondering if the creepers at the beginning were exaggerated because I don't get quite that many.

Ter info: I added an extra cat in the middle of each platform (6th block diagonal from the middle point) and it really helped directing the creepers to the middle

Hahaha it not working. The farm is too big, golems can't see the furthest creepers. And most creepers are killed by golems. Congratulations on this really great guide. BUHAHAHA

@@TheySixso I built one side of the farm so far and for some reason I’ve also been getting spiders spawning in it as well which I’m not complaining about cuz that’s string I didn’t have lol, but do you think you could show me how you transported the cats to each spot? I’ve never used cats before for anything so I don’t know how the mechanics for them work and also, wouldn’t it be best to put in a trident killer as opposed to manually killing them with looting 3, cuz trident killer I could just hold the looting 3 in hand

It's not super bedrock friendly. The slab layout means you get spider spawns and a lot of them and that takes up your mob cap. If you want a big bedrock creeper farm, I'd build silent whispers. His is extremely efficient and he is also a bedrock player, not a java player so he knows all the weird bedrock different kinks.

If you’re reading this, yes it does work on bedrock 1.19, just read the pinned comment at the top for all your bedrock info on the farm, I’ve built one side so far and it works great, just have had spider spawns as well but that’s not anything for me to complain about
They will spawn because of game mechanics you have to change the whole designation of the farm to fix that but if you do that the farm rate will reduce
Good to know to works 1.19, hope it work 1.20, if I make it I want to drop the storage a bit and put in a trident killer, think it’ll work or would that mess w/ the farm?

You can add add nether portals in the killing area, that way creepers are teleported and killed in the nether, makes it crazy efficient, I don’t even know the rates now

This is probably a dumb question but when you say at y 140, do you mean when you're standing at y 140 (as it reads on f3) making the block below you at y 139 , or is the block below you supposed to be at 140 and you the player are supposed to be on y 141 (again as read on f3)?

target block should be 140 and standing y should be 141

So im on bedrock and the farm works perfectly. I was just wondering if on the roof (full blocks) should i spawn proof the roof with sum light so mobs cant spawn on the top of the farm? Or slab it possibly or will it affect how the farm works? Thank you!

i mean this is great and all, but you could really push it to the next level if you were to use a faster system to get the mobs from the spawning platforms to the killing chamber: water to flush the mobs, portals or even mob conveyors. Also, a beacon with strength 2 and making sure they lose health from fall damage. Right now you are limited by the mob cap, so making bigger spawning platforms doesn't really help that much
🙂👌 Yes but at the first of the game beacon is not available and you need to play for a while to craft a beacon ( you need to finish the game and kill a wither )
You're also using quite a few cats, which are much harder to get than a nether star. Granted the farm can work without them, but if you use those, I don't see why you wouldn't use a beacon as well

@@WuClear for one nether star you need to find a fortress and farm there a few hours. For cats you need to find a village and make a farm for 'em (cause you need quite a lot). It really depends on luck I suppose

I built the farm and it works well I was wondering though if getting rid of the slabs to prevent spider spawns would make the farm more effective because I'm on bedrock or if the slabs somehow reduce but not get rid of spider spawns, do you think it's faster for creepers on bedrock edition with or without the slabs?
Also Theysix didnt meancion this but u can use a trider killer so u farm just afk and hould a loting 3 sword u get the same rates as u hiting them with a sword and i recomend oink oinks trindent farm in his gold farm the one thas shows 35 levels, just search it up u will see it.😊
unfortunately, that trident killer is not designed by oink oink but yes that is a popular version of the Trident killers
Putting 16 more cats (in each center of the quarters) doubled the rates for me! Went from 4200 to 9800/h with looting 3

I just built the farm, 1.20.81 in the bedrock version.
Unfortunately, I encountered several problems. I had to replace the steps as a 5 block height border for the spawn chambers with full blocks, otherwise it was too light. I also had to proof the spawn platforms with buttons on every second block so that no spiders would spawn. I also had to build the roof with whole blocks because of the brightness inside. Spawnproofing at the top can be done with steps or with torches. Otherwise I have to say really nice design.

i have a question
so u said to make farm on y140 when creepers spawn more on lower levels i know there are caves underground but if its a deep ocean or deep cold ocean there are probably underwater caves so mobs wont spawn so much, and mob cap wont increase, pls answer me should i build it on ocean lvl = 64

just use trapdoors under each layer (*roof ) to turn it into a creeper farm but this one is a good design too

its doesn't matter at all but yes if you build this farm higher yes you will get the maximum rate from this farm but in total there is limit

You could make a boat minecart and lava cauldron or lava based killing system

@@TheySix Because the creepers on my upper floor didn’t come down because they were scared by cats, but some of the creepers who came down voluntarily couldn’t come down from the top.

I built this farm on my Survival server (1.20.1 ) i used it once and afked for a long time and got a lot of gunpowder which lasted me quite a while
But now i have come back to it and even after afking for a long time i barely get any gunpowder and creeper spawn too slow than before.

Gunpowder collects on the stairs next to the campfires.
If built exactly like the video, there will be a considerable loss of gunpowder.
I replaced with additional hoppers, just to be safe.
make sure you are playing on the hard difficulty and make sure the afk location is correct and also make sure to set your render distance to 8
Does it works on server and with 12 chunks render and Simulation distance?
12 Chunks render is not good but you can get a - mid to high rate from this farm

I have everything correct, I read the pinned comments and rates are very slow Im on bedrock realms. When I go 120 blocks up from the bottom spawning platform no spawns at all. I get slow rates if I stand by the campfires.

Creepers are coming fast like there is a spawner because they keep spawning
Hi, I built this farm exactly like you did but I only got around 1500 gunpowder in an hour (automatic mode), any suggestions on how I could improve the rates?
make sure you are playing on hard difficulty
go up 120 - 128 blocks from the lowest platform and make an afk room
and set your render distance to 8
also you can afk in sword method too just you need to use a auto clicker
I play on Bedrock and I build the farm in creative but bro it's not worth it. I followed the instructions on the pinned comment but the spawn rate is reaaaally slow, and spiders spawn too. It's not like the farm doesn't work but I tried change render distance, put torches/slabs, change hard to peaceful then hard again, checking my settings over and over again, even making a copy of the world don't change the result. The farm must be really great for Java players but the spawn rate in Bedrock transform the farm in a waste of resources. I think I need to find something more simple. Great video by the way +1 sub

Im on bedrock and for some reason spiders are spawning? is that a bug? Im not that mad about it, its still alot of gunpowder but they clog up the killing chamber sometimes
this is normal due to bedrock mechanics

Does it have to cross the ocean or would a river suffice?
you can build this farm anywhere but you have to spawn proof the area otherwise the mobs will spawn in the dark area around the farm
the mobs are able to spawn 28 to 128 blocks from the player
i've build 1 side so far, but the spawn rates are so low(like 1 creeper per 20 seconds) i' ve already checked and i did all correctly. (im on java 1.20.1) Can u help me pls??

first check these and let me know :
1. make sure you are playing on the hard difficulty
2. make sure to set your render distance to 6 - 8
3. you must go up by 120 - 128 blocks from the lowest platform and make an afk room

no you can build only one of them but the rate will be lower

Hello i have a problem. I build this farm on bedrock and i have the world on hard. There are spawning like 1 creeper in 1 minute so i have to wait a long time for just 32 gunpowder. Do you have any tips
the afk area should be 32 blocks from the middle of the farm
also i mentioned the best way for the bedrock players is that to use an trident killer
