This gold farm produces 1650+ gold blocks per hour using an insane mechanic called boat looting! This farm is singleplayer friendly, doesn't require spawnproofing and doesn't require bedrock breaking. It will get you all the gold you could ever need for golden apples, bartering or anything else! This farm is so fast because it gets the mobs out of the mobcap very very quickly, which lets more piglins spawn to take their place. This gold farm kills 54,000 zombified piglins per hour, so if you are like me, and were killed in your hardcore world by a piglin, you can get revenge using this farm :) This is an improved version of my old gold farm design, so there is a tutorial for how to upgrade the farm, and also a tutorial for how to build this farm from scratch.

NOTE: in 1.20.2, attack reach got changed, so if you stand against the trapdoor the piglins can hit you. so stand against the sand block behind you and you should be fine :)

One, hunger games hype is not that high anymore, squid game with villagers was cool kuz a lot of people cared about squid game, not that many people care about the hunger games anymore imo. Also villagers dont kill each other so i dont think it would be possible

@HatrGatrSFM u just have to have another person afk in the overworld part as well. so its a 2 person farm. if u listen youd know
@HatrGatrSFM as @Aspratic said you will need two people if this farm is built on a multiplayer server. I was using carpet to spawn a bot in the OW which would allow the farm to continually run. Little caveat, you don't need to have 2 people if there is no one online in the server but you.

@@artemis_furrson Honestly getting Magma blocks is fairly easy. The magma veins are soo big sometimes.
@@rubiq386 Yeah but it still takes give or take 2 hours to get the amount of shulker boxes needed.
@@artemis_furrson plus building the platforms is what takes up most of your time, i wasn't even using frost walker boots or anything while building lol.

Fast, efficient, practical and funny, love what you did will check out more of your stuff
if you place 3 boats stacked on top of each other with 2 mobs (i find chickens to be the easiest) in each boat (boats with mobs inside don't go through nether portals), it makes it so you don't have to wait for pigmen to push each other outside of the portal in the overworld, they will be immediatly pushed out by the boats and that should slightly increase the productivity of the farm. The boats need to be 3 because the portal is 3 blocks high, if you use a taller portal you should use more boats accordingly. You also need to change the number of boats depending on the width of the portal: 2 blocks of width = 1 boat, 4 block = 2 boats and so on
I built this farm in 1.20 single play world, and it worked very well
it takes like 3 days to build but it worth i think.

Simply amazing! I just built this on my survival world and it's awesome. After my first 1-hour test, I got 57 shulkers full of nuggets...just over 1200 gold blocks. Thank you!
I followed the tutorial up to where the schematic branches off for the shulker loader. When building that part of it, do you place the shulker boxes that are in the schematic manually? Or once you finish with it do they get auto placed by the redstone?
Finally done building this in my survival world! Also I have a few tips. On the overworld bridge, it would be better to first put on the roof and then the water. I was in a taiga biome and it snowed sometimes, causing the water to freeze and in the end al the water was source blocks. Also be carefull when using an autoclicker at 11 ticks. If you pause the game while the autoclicker is enabled and you are targeting the armor stand, the game will do a few more hits causing the armor stand to break (at least in my case). Also some parts of the tutorial are too sped up. If you have multiple rows with chest (3 or more), then you don't need 3 filters with gold ingots. One of two is enough. Otherwise this is a great farm!
@Mir Ahnaf Taseen make a copy of the world, (if you don’t wanna hit open to lan) and type in chat /carpet commandplayer true,
and it should say change permanently click on it and it should automatically make a command hit enter on your keyboard.
Then open that world folder tha ur using and you should see carpet config file in that world that you done it on you can copy the text file and paste it in other worlds.
But the command to actually do the command is
/player (ur gamer tag) attack interval 11
To stop attacks
/player (ur gamer tag) attack once voila If this is to complicated I can make a video if you want😁

For those having trouble with breaking of armor stand despite not having fire aspect, it might be due to u lagging in ur server, so the world that you’re in didn’t register the 11 ticks, and it will cause u to hit the armor stand rapidly and continuously when it’s not lagging for that split second. To fix this download carpet mod, do /playerme attack interval 11. Hope it helps

This farm is so insanely good. I modified it in creative to include carpet autocrafting so it compacts the gold into blocks and made the nugget sorters double speed to lower the number of them you need down to only 10 with like 99% of nuggets getting picked up with that many. Tip to others though is to watch the tutorial and don't be goofy like me thinking you can just build it using a schematic. I couldn't figure out why the boats weren't working after them flying everywhere like 5 times before realizing you needed to raise the portal by a block to do it first since I skipped ahead in the tutorial lmao. Awesome farm though!

Current my issue:
I went for an AFK session and my armor stand was broken at the end. I am guessing that the 11 tick delay might have been too little, so my next guess is trying out 12 ticks.
Two older issues:
One more thing I noticed was mobs spawning on the immovable block near the slime and honey that launches the items over the sorter. I fixed that by replacing it with a beacon block
The issue that took me the most time to fix is that this farm assumes you use vanilla, I use the Masa's mod feature of having stackable shukerboxes, this creates an insane amount of buffer in the system, I fixed that by creating a storage system that fills a shulkerbox with a single item before putting it in the system, in my case I added one gold nugget to every yellow shulkerbox before letting it go into the storage of (almost) "empty" SKB

Thank you! Glad u fixed the old issue, ur current issue is easily fixable fortunately. Thats a lag issue that can be fixed in one of two ways. Basically, every world is run on a server and the server is supposed to run at 20 ticks per second but sometimes when using a laggy farm like mine the ticks per second goes below 20, so if ur clicking every 10 ticks from a client side mod like tweakeroo, it will actually be clicking faster than every 10 ticks in game time. So to fix it u can use a server side autoclicker which is in the carpetmod but it requires going into cheats mode and using commands to turn on. Or u can replace one of the front fences in the killing chamber with a nether brick fence and then remove the armor stand and hit the zombified piglins directly. Carpet mod will get u the advertised rates while the other option may lose some rates due to entity cramming.
Wow.. This farm is crazy good. Definitely one of the most complex/tedious farms I have ever built. So worth it though. I used the farm for a solid 20 minutes and already had more than two stacks of gold BLOCKS! 10/10 would recommend!
Such an amazing farm - a cool project to work on and I'm super proud that I was able to build it myself, now I just need to build a huge bartering farm to use all the gold 😂
Farm works very well in 1.20.4.
Took me around 8h to build (i‘m not a fast builder).
But in my opinion you play the video way too fast in order to follow you in normal speed. I had to set speed to 0,5 to avoid a stroke. So I would appreciate a slower, easier to follow tutorial in the future.
I also did a magma farm prior to this farm to not having to collect the magma in the nether.
Looking forward to 1.21 for when the auto-crafter comes out, so I will get gold blocks out at the end!

I built this farm following the tutorial a few days ago and it's working incredibly fast, however you explain things a little bit too fast, I had to slow down the video to follow it. I recommend not speeding up too many parts of the video and leave bigger breaks between sequences so the viewer understands it better

I don't know if this will help anyone but if you overworld portal happens to be in a cold biome, place torches above the top water sources on the overworld tube to stop the water from freezing. The water in the bubble columns wont freeze.
i did that too i think it will work so the water doesnt freeze, but do you know what could happen if i built the nether tunnel too close to the farm ? (1 block closer, thats only 3 blocks from the tunnel to the magma layers instead of 4) could u help me if u know ?

Quick question, can I build the overworld side ~20 blocks lower and still have the farm working? Any impacts to efficiency or do you think the portals still link?
I just did some testing and it will break the top 2 sets of portals, making the top 3 spawning platforms useless, all other portals link fine. Tough to say how that will impact rates.

You must be in 1.16 + for it to work.
Your sword must not have smite or fire aspect as it will destroy the armor stand.
Make sure you understand how portal linking works. 1 block in the nether equates to 8 blocks in the over world.
Also make sure your game mode is set to the hard difficulty to get maximum rates.
No, because the spawn chunks are only loaded if players are in the overworld. To load your iron farm at the same time, build a chunk loader.

This farm is an absuloute beast!! It takes a little bit of time building the spawnig platforms but it is absoulutly worth it, the crafting is taking me almost longer than they are dying and dropping their stuff!
Thanks for the great farm! I just built it, it's working flawlessly. Video was great too, the only thing I didn't like was that some very important steps were sped up to like 50x, like stacking the boats and parts where you have to count blocks accurately. Litematica helped out with those though.

Hey, im making a similar farm but with regular mobs and does the top glass platform for pack spawning matter if it's at the height platform? Meaning I already have a platform made to make it spawner dark in the overworld, but I have that platform above the heighest spawning platform if that makes any sense. @DashPum4
Just did it in my survival and its amazing man. Works perfect. Normally i run at 6-8mstp and when runing the farm at 12-14 but i think its normal. I use ur shulkerloader and 10/10 too. Highly recomended this farm but make before a magmacube farm for the 10k of magma blocks xDD. Nice work! New susbscriber and maybe i do more designs of you. Sorry my bad english.

Great design! Also, one thing I would suggest is put a full glass top on the killing chamber especially if you're on a server because YOUR FRIEND WILL FALL INSIDE AND BREAK THE ENTIRE THING

Did hitting the armor stand in the corner cause any problems
@@gaminsheep2722 hitting it into the corner is easy. But because of sync lag on the server I'm playing it can cause it to get destroyed. I lowered the attack interval from an auto clicker to 1s (instead of 550ms) and that seemed to work better.

I have 3 questions before I embark on the upgrade if you have the time :)
1. Can the automatic version you mentioned (120 boats instead) not still be used manually (just wondering if this feature is an 'and' or an 'or' to the manual version)
2. I whipped up a quick test and notcied that in the manual version its not very friendly to leave and returning as once the boats are full additional mobs enter through the portal and quickly die from entity cramming and then their loot goes back to the overworld and sits there (seriously lagging out the game over time). Any solution to this you already came up with (or should I setup a loot collection and disposal system with hopper minecarts instead?)
3. I had already updgraded your previous version to include pumkin heads getting dispensed on my mobs when in the overworld ... do you think the mob head tech in addition to the boat tech would increase the rates at all? (I figured the boat tech reduces the time the mobs fill the mob cap for all mobs considerably, and the pumkin heads reduce even that tiny amount for a large quantity too (but not all mobs can wear the helmets so the boat tech is still needed on top)

I was so confused why my rates were so much slower than the farm when after a few hours I realized I had shulkers in spawn chunks causing less pigmen to spawn since they took up the mobcap 😂. Now that that’s fixed this farm is literally insane

Amazing farm! Great work, only thing I’ve noticed is the piglins are able to pick up swords. So they’re constantly in a trade off so they get stuck and don’t respawn. Currently just fly away then back again and quickly cull the killing chamber before more can spawn when finished using.
wait where are they not despawning? because if they are in the killing chamber they should die from powder snow and entity cramming, or if they arent despawning on the spawning platforms they should go into the portals. the only place that could happen is in the overworld bridge, but since that will unload after 15 seconds it shouldnt matter.

10/10 WOULD RECOMEND. it is easy to build and works really really well
for the new update with the crafter you can make this much more effiecient! I added hoppers taking the nugget chest and lined them to a single crafter and had a slow repeat making all the ingots for me! Saves so much crafting time

Built today in 1.20.4 and 15 minutes in it’s pretty insane. Haven’t tallied gold yet but it’s a lot. The Xp is also ridiculous. Well done dash. One thing that worked for me: bring potions of night vision and water breathing to make the placing kelp a bit easier.
when making the pushing bridge, did you’re portals link correctly the first time?
@@PickensSSC no that was a challenge but after a few tries and realizing the second portal was only temporary I took another portal to get back above the roof. I have many farms and a network of portals on there
@@Bluejay327 the problem i’m having is that the pushing chamber isn’t linking to glass pillar that’ll lead to the killing chamber i imagine instead the portal in the nether is linking to the portal that was 200 hundred blocks away from the chamber if that makes sense
one question, on 1.20 the nether roof was actually highered up, does this affect the farm, when he said i should be standing on 229, i was way higher than that, does this matter

you said to build the item sorter at the bottom hopper, but what if you have more than 2 chest layers? Do you still build it at the bottom or are you supposed to build it at the ice?

1. What app/software/mod do I need to download to click at every 11th tick?
2. Is it ok to use the farm with a sword enchanted with "KnockBack 2"?
1. Use carpet mod or tweakeroo for the autoclicker (carpet mod is better but requires u to be in cheats mode)

At 5:43 you state that we need to find a nether wastes biome far away from any nether portals we use. How far is far away? I want to build this but don't know how far away it needs to be to work correctly.
For the people who plan to use shulker loaders:
You will need 65 shulker box’s per hour you plan to afk which will be about 6 double chests of shulkers for every 5 hours.
Also note that the resource list includes the item sorters he builds in the video. Make sure to account for that when you are gathering your own resources
To specify my math a double chest has 54 slots which leaves 11 excess boxes per hour. 54 of those 55 in a 5 hour period would be an extra double chest hence the total of 6 per 5 hours.
I noticed my comment was somehow gone. Just wanted to say that I had 1 extra Honey block, thats why The stair didn't move at all. Its all fixed now. Ty for reply tho :)

They help with pack spawning. You could use glass but then the piglins would walk onto the glass platform, so we use a block like open fencegate or string to stop them from trying to pathfind onto the top layer of glass

1.19.4. spigot running like a charm! I was actually surprised HOW MUCH gold this produced even in the 10 minute test run I did at first. Tutorial could be better - slower, more overview shots, better description etc. I should have used the schematic from the start :) takes a bit to build but oh is it worth it! thanks for sharing

Thanks for the explanation! Can you please give me an advice on where to learn more about how spawn works? For example I heard that if you remove everything below bedrock sealing rather than putting slabs everywhere for spawn proof it's somehow better for the spawn rates (this is not related to this gold farm of course). Why is that?
Just the way the game was coded i guess. Basically there is a failure chance for mob spawns and the lower the spawning spaces are the lower the failure chance is. The height map for pack spawning is important too, and pack spawning happens in a big area around the spawning spaces so u want the height map to be low which is why a perimeter is better than slabs
@@DashPum4, thanks. However I heard that it should work even if you remove all blocks below bedrock leaving the sealing itself. Then the highest block would be the bedrock and the hight map wouldn't change. Maybe it's false? I heard it from someone's stream if I remember correctly. I'm not sure. Another question that I have is are there actually 2 types of spawn, the regular one, when a single mob spawns and the pack spawn? Or all spawn attempts are related to the pack spawn?
@@DashPum4, If you are interested, I want to design my own mob farm (in overworld) based on the similar idea to how new Ilmango's creeper farm works. The idea is that I'm going to make multiple rail loops with minecarts with boats on them going around. At some point there will be some water so that the boats think that they're drowned so that they will eject any mob sitting in them directly into a portal above.
@@busy_beaver mob spawns will still happen if u remove the bedrock ceiling, but they will happen less. also i explained pack spawning in the video
@@busy_beaver that could be really cool. im not sure if drowned boat tech works when a boat is in a minecart though but if it does thatd be a very cool idea
