I always like how blunt tim is with the cars. Like when it was running bad yeah car ran like shit sounded like a john Deere tractor but then was helpful enough to fix the car properly and everything
On SOME of the promods, etc. where I have been part of the shakedown process, loose fasteners are a big issue, especially when the ET is slow and everything is vibrating for an extra couple seconds per pass while trying to figure it out - especially when everybody is worried about the converter/clutch, timers, etc, they forget about basic things like header bolts, body fasteners, etc. and other shit that the other people voluntarily helping completely look over. 🤦♂️ - made me glad I was helping and catching those things in those instances.
Just saw this car running yesterday in Phoenix. I was watching on NHRA All Access. I thought, "wow thats a beautiful car" then I realized it was this one! Ran in the 6's and straight as an arrow. Thumbs up!
I followed the whole build, great to see the car finally at the track, fantastic series Tim.
Just finished those whole series and all I can say is - Tim McAmis is the man! No doubt he is one of the top drag racers of all time, but also takes great ownership of all the finest details of the car and his business which I’m sure makes his customers feel like they’re on top too. Thank you SO MUCH for producing this series!!!
Tim your on track set up consulting and familiarizing the driver with the equipment is what makes you the incredible builder you are...unreal
I know this is old video but that still is one of the most beautiful cars of all time my opinion
Awesome builder. His attention to detail makes fantastic drag cars..
Great job to all involved! I am just sad that this build series has now come to an end 😕
I have been following many builders. You are the best because you take time to be technical!!!!
No tire shake even though you only ran on motor? Amazing chassis work Tim. You're the best in the business.
You are so professional and honest that's what I like ,keep the good work !!!
this series is the most valuable information on CZcams 🙌
Agreed. Everyone likes to give advice but when you hear it from Tim you know it's right
Totally Agree !!
This by far is the best Fucking drag race series on CZcams... reminds me of Bill grumpy Jenkins. Big difference is grumpy wouldn't tell you a Fucking thing LOL Take that as a compliment thanks for posting.

Absolutely bad ass! You and your guys crafted an amazing machine once again! Keep it up!
nice work.appreciate the look into the build.
It went a 7.62 on motor only!!!!! Damn. I know it’s a light car but Damn. That’s impressive.
Excellent, excellent series!! Isn't it rewarding to see the fruits of your labour all come together at the end? My appreciation to everyone involved at TMRC as well as the staff at Jeff Hoskins, along with the production crew and everyone else involved in building this magnificent race car, as well as making this wonderful series of videos. I absolutely enjoyed every one of the 25 episodes. Great work!!
What a beautiful build!
Tim, you do a real good job explaining the process throughout the entire series. Thanks for this, and keep building excellent cars and showing us how and why!
Wow what a great series and a beautiful car congrats to all involved
This was an awesome series. Tim Mcamis, I loved everything about, especially the amount of time you spent with the owner. This is an amazing car your shop built, so cool that you spent so much time with us ( not a car racer, I did race boats, little different, )

The paint is amazing !!
I want the Bud Pruess treatment at Tim Amis race cars !!
Very nice!
Tim looks to be a real cool guy. What a great series. You don't see this on paid TV for sure. He sounds like Dana Carvey doing an impression of George Bush Sr. I kept expecting him to say 'a thousand points of light', lol.
This car is a beauty
Great series your cars are a work of art! What's next!?
Good info tim

Matt Terk 7s was that on 1/8 mile
The last run was a 1/4 mile pass...Or at least that's what he says on the video near the end
Hell No it was a 1/4 mile lol a prius does 1/8 in like 8 lmaoo
Torch red. Nice
I don't think I've ever seen a Camaro front clip like that. looks pretty cool though
Tim can u make a build series on a blower car
WoW what a Bitchen car. I'm a Ford guy, but I know a COOL car when I see one. Very good video
How much rear end gear used
How much will you sell it for sir?
I Wonder how much the car end up costing. I would love to build one myself.
Tim any chance we will ever see you in a race car again?
Still fill in during testing every once in a while.
Do you give all customers this personal touch
His a good crew chief
What’s a car like that cost? Built by you, less motor and trans, soup to nuts?
I dont want to get into your business but how much money did it take to build that car im ready to adventure into something new so im just curious I raced dirt late models for a long time but time for something new I watched all the videos of it being built and it has me interested
I would venture a guess in the 150-250k range with all the extras and options.
how much for a bout race car..
Back to formula... 😉
Still trying to figure out why he stopped to do the burnout. Roll thru the water and hit the sob.
Stopped to apply the line lock to help that 632 get it up on the tires doing the burnout. A screw blown hemi can do that without stopping but most nitrous cars use the line lock to start the burnout and get it up on the tire.
No ground clearance
Cost of the build
50k for the motor 25 k for drive line 40k for frame and body then add 25 k if I'm wrong!
This is an amazing car but I really want to se the car run a bit quicker
It has run a lot quicker. That was just the first time out with motor troubles. This past weekend it won at the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas.
@@Timmcamis Interesting but now you have stock chassis FWD Honda hatch backs with H pattern tranny's pulling 7.5's at 215. AWD with an air shifted sequential and you got a race. Bench racing is rather stupid but I think the AWD E cars are the future. But then again why not make full size slot cars with no driver and just a hand controller?
@@Tsalinger I know this is a two year old comment, but what would be the point of a remote controlled car? The best part of racing is the feeling of the acceleration and speed (and of course beating the competition)
Did he just say 8/3 5.3 motor
Sterling Witherspoon 860 5.3
