- This video is about Project pro street 2020 hosted by Dylan at NYS modeling, I attempted to kit bash a 1968 Camaro into a pro street with a tubbed rear. lots of trimming hacking and cutting, I used the complete chassis from the nova, did not like the front end of the camaro kit. thought the hood scoop from the nova was cool and looked good on this car. Had to shim it to fit blower. I got aluminum pulleys and lot of detail parts for this build but will be looking for an alternative engine down the road.
Not happy with either engine. I had fabricated a roll bar ,but not liking the look of it. wanted to get racing seats with belts, well this will be an ongoing project. - Zábava

ron stewart thank you so much Ron. 🤘👍
Those 66 pro Street nova chassis are near perfect for most cars that particular size.
I've got them under alot of my builds. Some Nascar chassis can be used for building really cool pro touring cars and trucks also.
😎👍🇺🇸
Awesome work man, all around from the kit bashing to the fabrication to the paint, love it
Thank you. Starting to try different things and build little my way. So cool what we can do with a plastic kit🤘👍

That’s great modification work Frank!!!!!! That is no easy task either...... I think U did a great job on that kit. I love the yellow color U chose...... it really looks the part too man, I’ve never modified a kit like that, & I have no idea how to either....... well well done buddy!!!!!!!!
C.D. Scale Models well this was my first kit bash and I just dove into it. At first I was nervous, thought about it for a while. Then just started cutting shaping and fitting like an artist. It’s only plastic. Lol. I like the guys who do mad max build from nothing those guys have vision. 🤘👍

Thats freaking sweet bro. 🍻😎👍🇨🇱
I'm doing a 1970 Camaro pro street atm. Spectacular job and wasn't aware that 66 nova fit do many different models. I want to do the pinto with a boss 429 that I have. But I bought the four link rear frame setup. Wondering if the Nova chassis would be the better route.
The nova chassis is awesome for this kind of prostreet projects. There are plenty of videos out there about the 1970 Camaros. So many different ways this can be achieved. Good luck. I’d love to see how yours comes out
Great looking build
Dirk's NUMA Files thank you. I still want to add more details to it. 🤘👍

Looks good sir Nascar chassis work good under these cars too with a little work
Thank you so much this was my first kitbashed pro street. It needs a lot of work. I’m not happy with the results that I got using the nova chassis. I will do another Camaro for this years pro street build using the 67 Chevelle chassis. I’ll see how that works. Thanks 👍🤘
@@frizzosmodels find a Bob gilden pro stock drag car or any pro stock chassis they work better or build your own tube chassis for it

thanks for watching, for the tires I put them on a socket then spin on a drill and use a nail file board, works great!
