Just ordered some warriors for the front of my Camaro. Can’t wait to put them in
Love my Vikings ....been running them on the rear for last 5-6 years
Best in the No Prep/ Street biz if you ask me
My 2011 mustang gt is lowered. I had for racing adjustable tokico shocks on there, but one is blown and I belive the koni yellows were the comparable shock. I bought these viking warriors in hopes they were better than the koni for handling in general and i want perfect handling around corners, but I'm not convinced and haven't installed them yet
I want to purchase some I came across the affordable universal Viking shocks wondering if they will do good on my 1989 gmc
Any video on how to add pre-load to them? I’m having a tough time getting help.
Not currently, what specifically are you having trouble with?
@@ohiogrudgeracing I installed them on an 86 Gt and they were super noisy with audible clanks. After inspection, I noticed I could move the spring and so I think I never added the correct pre-load to them. Do they have a specific factory pre-load amount or is it specific to each car?
Specifically tuned to each car, so many variables can't possibly make a "one size fits all" application.
i have a 2016 chevy silverado single cab 2wd and i’m trying buy some coil overs shocks for rear i’m trying get my dropped like 5/11 or 12

Wanna get a set of front and rear coilovers for my 83monte ss but can't afford them
Just gotta save up like the rest of us. Lmk when you're ready & I'll get you the best price
I put some warriors on my 2011 5.0 and only use it for driving around, still not sure what settings are good for stiff cornering 😂 i only went with the vikings because for the money, i wanted an all around shock
Also the frpp rear shocks were blown so that's why I even went with these. Any input on good handling settings would be great, I think I've got them like 2-4 right now, any more than that was wayyy bouncy. The instructions said to keep a 2 to 3 level difference between compression and rebound so that's as far as I've gotten.
I would call ViKing on that one. They have a pretty good database and can give you a good starting point I'm confident
Do you do anything for the Sprint Car market ?
I'm most familiar with drag racing, but have access to round track knowledge via our suppliers. I'm a dealer for Afco also who is big in round track racing
@@ohiogrudgeracing Just a thought ,if they are looking to expand their market Sprint Cars would be something to look into. Not trying to knock drag racing but the money in Sprint Car series racing is so much more & they race more often.
Absolutely, when we had our powder coat shop, we coated a ton of round track parts
I have emailed and called viking multiple times left messages etc. Is there some special way or do you need to be a special somebody to get a response ?
