I clearly saw Anderson Cooper using a green screen when reporting. His nose went off the screen and you could clearly see it was a green screen.. So no doubt Alex is correct.
This green screen claim was brought up in the 2018 trial. A video forensics expert hired for the court case, said the effect was actually a common occurrence, a compression artifact that often happens in video encoding.

• Michael Carneal (Ritalin), age 14, opened fire on students at a high school prayer meeting in West Paducah, Kentucky. Three teenagers were killed, five others were wounded..
• A young man in Huntsville, Alabama (Ritalin) went psychotic chopping up his parents with an ax and also killing one sibling and almost murdering another.

He said this was 30 before the first siren was heard, so they were either there during the shooting or before....yet that interview mysteriously disappeared and denied it was possible... and then people asked enough and YEARS later it showed up, then disappeared again. Video artifacts are not that unusual. You'll notice the anomaly happens when Cooper's nose leaves a bar of color that's very similar to his skin tone. It's like the video wants to maintain the straight line, so it shrinks his nose to fit. That's typical of faulty video interpolation, not faulty blue screen tech. "We know what blue screen looks like". Cool, bring on someone credible who works with digital video to verify that faulty color screen tech is the ONLY plausible explanation for how a recovered digital video file would show a slightly shrunken nose for one frame.
On top of that, his case for why he thinks they're doing this interview on a blue screen is vague and weak. They're risking exposing themselves as frauds if anything goes wrong on live TV to get a shot of an interview in front of a quiet building at night? This is how they "control what we see"? There's no carefully crafted "developing situation" where something unexpected could pop into frame to ruin the fake story as he insinuates was happening during the live-shooting event where they admitted freely to playing early footage instead of live footage, which is itself quite different from the old clip where they're pretending to be abroad to badly fake being in danger, which I admit is bizarre. If you don't want to trust CNN over that fake clip I don't blame you, but this supposed blue screen thing is just grasping at straws.
EDIT: Surprise surprise, if you look up "CNN blue screen debunk" you can see explanations of what's going on in both the old CNN clip and the supposed disappearing nose. Of course, Jones stans will just take his word on this instead of seeking alternate explanations for comparison.
