The moment with the lasers thumbnail is so good 😂
I know right, I was laughing at that too. 🤣🤣🤣
Legendary
I have watched a LOT of trials on CCTV and this is the first I’ve ever been able to hear what’s happening in the side-bars.
It’s on purpose I’m sure!
They actually agreed to allow the sidebars be broadcasted. I think it was the first day of the trial that it was specifically addressed but to be honest I’m not sure
@@TheFearsomeFanagle because this trial is super shady.
@@jlorde8838 This isn’t even the trial. The trial has already happened. This is the hearing for damages
In the last 3 yrs, there are many 'first's .... 😷
I love how the sidebar is audible lol.
What do any of the initial questions so far by the Plaintiff Lawyer have to do with proving DAMAGES? This is total and complete Bull Crap.
It’s called “laying a foundation”
A common lawyer practice beginning in the first 10-20 or more minutes in any person’s testimony
Loved when Jones' own Attorney said on the sidebar to the Judge "I dunno, this fella thinks EVERYTHING is a conspiracy". 🤣🤣
it's a brilliant tactic: if everything the guy believes leads back to a debunked conspiracy belief he cannot legally bring up, then it's very easy to argue that any question is "opening the door" and the testimony comes to a standstill.
lol
Do you have the timestamp for that? Lol

This is the first I’ve heard of this trial and I burst out laughing at the lasers coming out of the judges eyes 🤣 so surreal
As I was watching this I read this comment and talking about the judge's eyes I looked at her eyes for a second it looks like her eyes went sideways or something all weird LOL 😂😂😂😂
Although the lasers coming out of her eyes are metaphorical the laser coming out of this court case if it stands are ruining justice as we know it.
Keke Palmer is pregnant , are you the baby daddy or what?
I wouldn’t be surprised if this trial was some form of satire
justice is certainly not blind...
28:00 lol. Judge to Alex- OK, I sustained your lawyers objection, and you kept talking...
hearing the sidebar is fascinating
Agreed. they are trying not to open a door to talking about other things going on in the world. We all know mainstream media makes us all judgemental of mainstream media. It feels like this trial is "flirting" with the issue of free speach. Alex Jones speaks freeley. This is a Kangaroo court. They need to prove it is not a lie. I believe sandy hook happened, But I can understand why people may not believe the same things I do.

Nervous reaction because he knows he's screwed.
I can imagine it's hard for Alex on the stand, it's not in his nature to be quiet.
Anyone who didn't have difficulty dealing with being gagged and forced to take part in this farce would have to be brain dead to the point of being nothing more than a sheep.
So what? Quiet ppl are better?
Or truthful
Hard for him? Omg he deserves everything he gets for all the unimaginable pain and suffering he’s caused these people. My god, I hope if you’re a parent you are able to try to imagine that kind of pain and then some pos adding to it to profit off it.
Looks like he’s gonna have a stroke. Oye.
I think they left the mic on during the counsel with the prosecutor and defense 😂
this some weirdly entertaining courtroom stuff ... i'm bout to bust out some popcorn lmao
I love how Jones puts a plug in every once in a while for his show and products = priceless

@@USMCjkm what profits? When he does a show he talks about so many issues how do you know his "profits" weren't due to increased traffic because of another issue he raised in his shows? Did anyone do the math on these percentages? NO!
@TheSpirit AndTheBride it was funny anyway..
Alex Jones is a national treasure
No matter what you think of Jones, attorneys should make every attempt to not let their disdain for a witness come through in their questioning.
I agree. Very unprofessional, but it happens all the time.
And the judge is not supposed to allow this! She lost control...
That's a pretty big ask when Jones' shilly shallying about has absolutely destroyed his credibility with the courts. I don't think any plaintiffs counsel could easily keep their contempt for him and his 'legal' team out of these interactions.
100% correct, this guy is very sleazy, every lawyer joke ever told us based on guys like this. Judge is way too lenient.

This is the craziest trial I've ever seen.
it's out of control because the judge is incompetent
According to Alex Jones, the narrative is that the trial is a circus...a kangaroo court.

Interesting to hear the sidebars in this trial. Glad the judge has allowed it in.
It supposed to be private! Media and jury can hear huh… sounds a bit taintful. But, if that was you.. than I’m betting you’d say otherwise!
@@Rainbowmelon Well, the word supposed is confusing me. It is a decision that can be made by the judge. Nothing dodgy about it.The only ppl who are not supposed to hear it are the jury. Everyone who watched this trial was re-educated by the end of it.
At 47:48 the plaintiff lawyer smiles. He has nothing to smile about. He's looking like a huckster in a polyester suit.
Yet again, two different world views. When does anyone, lose the right to defend themselves in court? Both trials went to default, when has that ever happened? The judge is forbidding him from discussing his legitimate reasons, why?
well, if you don't comply with discovery in similar ways then different judges could find similar reasons to use summary judgement. I don't know if there was any communication between the legal teams or judges in the different cases, that might be something you might find interesting or informative too look up.
and when you get summary judgement, as I understand it, you have lost the case and the jury's only job left is to determine how much is owed and at that point trying to tell the jury that you are innocent does not make sense.
@@hummanmass You're pretty close. In response to the failure to participate in discovery, the judge found Jones in default. Technically, the judge could have, as part of the default, ordered a finding for the judgment pleaded by the plaintiff. But leaving it up to the jury, the judge is showing some level of kindness to Jones.
I must say, I'm watching this after both of his trials were concluded, and I am stunned at the ineptness of Jones' attorneys in BOTH trials. Wow. You'd think he'd have better representation.
They had a hard client
Both attorneys and several of the ones he had before the trial but fired or quit (he's had 16 IIRC) made a point to tell the media that the strategy was coming from Alex Jones himself. Considering how much they wanted the press to know that, makes me think they know they have a loser strategy and don't want to be blamed for it.
I'm stunned at the kangaroo court ..
It's a hard case to defend.
The frequent ads are making this difficult. Not paying for the other version of CZcams,
Alex might need to visit an Optometrist
I’m curious ARE ALL people defending themselves in court required to answer questions with either a “YES”, “NO”, or “I DONT KNOW”? That seems like that could be very self-incriminating
Yes. Then they can go into more detail during cross examination. The lawyers take turn asking questions, so if there's any follow ups or anything the defence can get them to clarify or give context/ more detail
And as a follow up, if you're worried about self incrimination you can plead the 5th

Really confused how a judge is allowed to limit the witness’s answers.
The witness has to answer within the scope of the question. A direction question that is a closed ended question is a yes, no or i don't know answer. That's it. They can't ramble on about it. That is a different type of question. If someone asked you if you went to the store 2 weeks ago, that is a closed ended question. If the defense wants to revisit the question with the witness to allow a more broad answer, they can do that. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. It depends on their strategy and the case. The oath of the witness is " the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth"
