Hey like the video a lot great job and yes it is unfortunate that the HORIZON VISTA FOR DUAL SENSE™ and all strike packs no longer work because I never even used the mods on the controller I just liked that it was a cheaper alternative solution to getting back buttons for the controller and I hope there will be a update at some point that gets it working again. Do you think that this specific device will ever work again in your opinion?
I just got one as well and it doesn't work did at first but now it will connect and pretty much disables the controller

I agree with you on the DualSense Edge controller. From a consumer's POV you get more for your buck if you instead go for the Besavior Elite controller or the PS5 Strike Pack Horizon Vista attached to a standard DualSense controller. Apart from other features missing like rapid fire, macros etc. for me personally it is especially the number of back buttons (only 2 compared to 4 on the third party devices) that makes me dislike Sony's DualSense Edge. Hopefully the guys at Collective Minds will be able to counter soon with a corresponding firmware update.

Since the U5 stopped working does the Beasavior elite controller still allow you to connect a different controller such as a PS4 controller? I don't need the backpack just need to be able to use a ps4 Controller on ps5 games.

hey, nice channel. About this issue, I've heard that Xim Matriz still works, since it's like a remote play but without input lag. I wonder if this is true, and if we could use cronus zen plus Xim Matriz to run our scripts?
You can use zen with remote play as well.
Or you can use besavior controller as gateway for zen again

Had to watch some of your old videos to remember besavior setup. You should make another besavior setup with Zen as a reminder. As of this morning it’s working fine.

@@GearsAndTech I did the update … totally bummed but then I remembered that I had my besavior tucked away in a box somewhere. So I broke it out and watched your old videos on setting it up with zen. I finally got it to work perfectly yesterday with Xbox series x controller. No disconnects. Good content for u to make a refresher as a lot of folks are scrambling:)

No.. if you use zen for cod on ps5 as a example. Every 5 mins it will automatically boot you to ps5 home screen during any game play you're doing. But it does not close out the game for you and it's annoying. I notice this after updating my zen and my ps5.

If you're going solo, playing privately, it's not that serious, and people should be able to. It's a huge time saver, especially when people don't have enough time to play like they used to, because of work, family, etc.
I think the Cronus zen still works connected to the besavior controller, and then you can use the ps5 edge controller

Is Xim Matrix the best option now? I was previously using Besavior U5 + Xim Apex and before that Xim Apex + Remote Play. My PS5 has ethernet connection but my macbook did not. If I use a PC with ethernet and remote play will it be better? Or if I do not have a PC, but I order a XIM Matrix and put ethernet into that as well as my PS5 + Macbook + Remote Play will it be the same? I understand the forced update came out today but I'm just trying to brainstorm...

My ps4 strike pack stopped working for input which is a shame because I never installed any of the mods on it I used it as back buttons since before the official sony add on came out.

Some people use the strikepack because it's cheaper then the dualsense controller for back buttons. Not everybody cheats.
Way cheaper than any of those other pro controllers too.

Edit: There are actually people (a very small number, I’m sure) who use some of these devices for accessibility or even just using a different controller with their PS5. Also PVP games are now cross play with PC. Why don’t you have a look into the cheats those guys use. Last I checked you couldn’t use any of these for wall or radar hacks, aimbot, ESP, god modes, etc, etc, etc. They’re toys compared to the actual hacks being used by 10’s of thousands of players for every AAA PVP game out there…

@@GearsAndTech Yeah its not possible to ban the xim matrix since it uses Razers official licensed controller key to work. Unless Sony releases a PS6 with Razers controller not being compatible, we will always see xim matrix users.

After the 24 January ps5 update it made it detect Zens but im confused as peaple said its only detectable on the "Ps5 Version" of games and not the ps4 version and confused man.

PS5 to Besavoir U5 to Xim Apex stopped working, PS5 to Beloader Pro to Xim Apex via remote play working. PS5 controller not working on Xim/Beloader Pro combo, had to use PS4 controller. Did Sony tag my PS5 controller maybe? Thanks Gears n Tech.

Yeah i bought my cronus Zen for the purpose of using my Astro c40 for ps5 games. It just sucks that it doesn't work besides remote play (which my wifi signal isn't strong so not really an option) because i miss my Astro c40 on the PlayStation. Thank God it works just fine on pc

This sounds like a conspiracy theory to justify why Sony stopped them from cheating. I hope this never gets fixed. If your so bad at games that you need to cheat, then get out of multi player games and stop ruining other people fun. Learn to loose with dignity or get better without the cheats.

Way to late just turn off cross play if your a console playet.
It should be up to the game developers to decide whether to block the device, on some games with smaller communities where everyone has the device, it adds to the fun (and is still fair)
Sony had a back paddle plug in device for ps4 that sold for $30 if it was just about the paddles they could have sold a new version for ps5. They didn’t cancel all those devices back then I just don’t see them doing it because of the paddles now. They were tired of the cheaters…

Because pc cheating is so rampant they want to position consoles as a haven from cheating to boost platform sales.
Paddles would hurt their DualSense Edge sales. I feel like that's why they didn't release one of their own back button attachments like they did for the DualShock 4 and why they shut down all these 3rd party devices when Cronus created paddles for the DualSense. Imo

I welcome this decision from Sony. Controller itself is very unnatural for FPS games, hence you need back buttons and game makers needed to implement aim assist to be on par with mouse and keyboard. People started abusing this controller concept. A lot of PC gamers play on controller using Chronus and whatnot. Back in the day WZ1 was enjoyable, but MW2 & MW3 is plain suffering.
If they just do match making based on average kd of squad it wouldn't be a problem

I just bought my strike pack and got it the day the update happened. I was so mad. I got it only for the back buttons to jump and shoot at the same time smh. I don’t want to spend 200$ on a controller that’ll get stick drift in two months.

Bro I am playing from day 1 of Dualsense launch , never had stick drift , would’ve preferred 4 back buttons but 2 are doable

I dont understand why you would spend money on a device used for cheating and then claim its for jumping and shooting at the same time. Seriously got conned by illegal consumer advice and products. There are always specials on pro controllers that are better than the original Playstation products, Thrustmaster, Razer, Nacon all have older gen products on sale. No excuses and I hope you make informed decisions going forward.

Damn, I just bought a ps5 now that I saw your videos on how to use a xim apex with the besaviour. I need to use a keyboard and mouse because of my hands cramping holding a controller for more than 10 mins. They have been damaged due to my work which means holding anything, steering wheels, writing, tools, handlebars and yes controllers make it almost impossible to hold without putting it down. The keyboard and mouse is a way to relax my hands constantly and still be able to play for a while before I have to stop for a while

I don't care why they did but happy they did.I mainly play MW3 multi with cross platform turned off.With Ricochet actually starting to work decent it is making game play much more enjoyable.The list is really growing on perma bans which is awesome.
Cross play off is the biggest help. Once you're in with pc players the hacks are nuts

Hey man I have an idea for a video 🤣 I have discovered that the Zen works even after the update though the Xim Matrix . So you can still play normally with the Zen just beed to pass through the Xim which is attached via LAN remote .

For our beloved ps5 players with a zen.. Go download the game you want to use the zen on as a ps4 version.. Use a ps4 controller on your zen.. And change settings on the zen computer section.. Set controller ps4 for ps5 console and your golden.. Thank me later

i hate cheaters i just wanna enjoy my games and my ps5 and xbox everybody should have a fair chance to win a game based on skill no matter what the game is be it a shooter or 2k or madden or whatever i say if sony and microsoft really care about there consumers theyd put in some sort of patch or something that would brick a cheaters console as soon as they plug in and turn on a cheating device and attach a some kind of secret id or code to the end user that cheats so they can place a lifetime ban on them that way no matter what console they play on it bricks the console buy another console as soon as it goes online brick it i havent got it all figured out but if there's a way identify and have some sort of software built into each and every console or even pc's that cant be hacked or bypassed just attempting to would brick their console or pc and lifetime ban them on any other console or pc i bet the cheating would pretty much go away immediately

There is a work around now, but it's a bit finicky and dumb to try and use each time

@@GearsAndTech so the turbo will still work on the controller because I was thinking of getting one but wasn't sure if the turbo would work since they did the upgrade and you said that they banned those controllers
they arent cheat devices, they literally are blocking shared controller keys, cronus and besavior obviously got the controller files from the same provider

I got lucky and had my ps5 completely shut off during the update issue, i usually have it in rest mode and also had auto install updates on! Ripped that lan cable out of the back of the ps5 as soon as i hit the door after work that day😅

For me it hurts because I want to love my ps5 I have a hard time holding a ps5 controller or edge for ps5 games for this I play the Xbox more it’s upsetting
Yes, they need a smaller controller option. I have prettu big hands and I still feel they are big for me
@@GearsAndTech Right exactly for me all I want is to use my Ds4 controller on ps5 games my series x allows me to do this with brook adapters etc.
lol reasnow s1 still works pretty fine with a keyboard and mouse plus the aimassist no one is gonna stop that on ps5 because works on mnk so they must stop connecting the mouse and keyboard on ps5

Good, to my understanding this is mainly used by cheaters who i will never understand as players. What is the thrill or the enjoyment in winning games when you know it is not because of your skill?
However this is a clear case of monopolistic behaviour and I am suprised the EU is letting them get away with this. They already launched the back button attachment at the end of the ps4 lifecycle and their solution to mimicking that was a dual sense edge that cost half as much as the console itself, completley ridiculous

This suck. I have a disabled friend who can only use ps4 controller on Ps5. With besavior u5 he can finally play. Now back to ground zero again 👎

I play normally. I used u5 to use the PS4 controller because the PS5 controller gives me a lot of pain in my hands. If someone killed you using a Zen, don't play again because it's not Zen. It's you who don't know how to play.

Im one handed and sorry cheaters caused me not to be able to play because i used rewasd to emulate ps4 controller. Never knew u could use rewasd to cheat. I hope I never see a cheater because id probably go off on their sorry hello. Some people use certain software just to be able to play.
