John Allerton's Life in Angling

One of the few who can be classed as a true Trent legend, John Allerton is best known for his prowess with a match rod and stick float, which saw him win 300-500-peg matches on the big river in its heyday. Then he turned his attention to stillwaters permanently and became a force to be reckoned with on those too.
