Hi Jordy... What a luxurious beard he has !... You did amazing...the diluted colors and the muted features on one side can easily be called a style...yes the sealant did darken the colors but they're not like plain painting..they meld into each other where they meet...I think this new coloring style can only benefit your pieces... The vines and setting back the lower face was a nice addition to the light post carving...as always you have a good eye for knowing what needs to be done...we should all be so lucky... Have a great time off..you know they'll be lending their tools before it's over...see ya !...🌿🌿🌿

I really like the vines jordy and when you painted them it sort of bought the whole piece out and the face is in more light cool and the other piece look absolutly amazing when you shone the light on it wow not as dark enjoy your trip be safe cheers mick

I really did like the first one or copy I should say. Yes went dark but for exterior decoration, thought it was cool. But your right second one is perfect, yes darken up but just right I think. I use water as you have always explained to get an idea how dark it would get. So thanks, still like the first one it would lighten up when outside a while. Thanks and take care.

Nothing wrong with being a Jordy it's how we learn, it's all experience at the end of the day, and that piece is way better, deep burn and scotch bright is an amazing technique done two carves but not as good as yours, can't find decent grain pattern, but I'll keep trying. So don't forget guys if you don't do a Jordy now and then you ain't gonna learn.
