Idk if it’s your voice, technique, artistic abilities, or combo of all plus more but this is probably the best how to video I have ever watched and I appreciate you so much for taking time to make it for us. Your awesome.
Awww thank you Shannon

I agree. I actually learned something and understood it, clearly! Thank you!!
I agree too! I actually understood what i was doing wrong ☺️ Thank you for sharing 😍
Agree … keep on doing what you do … this isdefinitely the best learning video .. thx 😊so much
Amazing to think- that face was always in that piece of driftwood, it was just waiting there, for years and years, for you to come along and reveal it to us. 👍🇬🇧
Thank you for being so upbeat and encouraging! I’m an old lady who is just getting into woodcarving and have everything to learn. You make it seem possible that I can learn what I need to know! Appreciate your teaching techniques.
Thank u, be safe and have fun
Just be careful, those burrs can really do damage to your hands. Be sure to have a firm grip on the power head, and clamp the workpiece down securely. Wear safety glasses and protect from dust for breathing.
That’s me too but I’m an old burnout retired pharmacist trying to express some creativity!😎
i enjoyed this.. the thing you kept saying.. " it wont look like mine. it will look like yours!" that is inspired!! great video!
Ty
It's great that you get others to believe they can do it too, all good coaches teach us there's more in ourselves than we knew was there... Thanks for showing us how
Thank u
This is awesome, just collected drift wood and came across your videos. please keep making videos. the cursing makes it that much better 😂👍
Man one of the best tutorials I've ever seen, thank you. You actually explain everything perfectly and make me feel like I could actually do this. Cheers
Thanks Jay and yes you can do it
Great tutorial!
Very thorough
Thank you !
Patricia
Thank you
It’s Odin, and I love it‼️
Ty
Thanks for your lessons. I finally carved my first wood spirit using this video to guide me along. All I had was a nice 14" length of black walnut that I split in half. It's about 14" high and about 4" wide. I'm very happy with how it came out and think I found something new that I love to do. On my Facebook post of it, I tagged and thanked you. Maybe you'll pick up a few more followers.
What a great teacher you are
Thank you
Patricia
I’m an Art Director and 3D-artist by trade and so I work all digital. Ofcourse I draw on paper, too. But I really appreciate when someone os good at doing something hand crafted, be it sculpting, candy making or wood carving. And you sir are a master at your trade.
Thank u
This is pretty awesome man. Thanks for this.
Great tutorial mate thank you.
Thanks again Jordy! I scavenged a piece of driftwood today. I’m gonna put face on it.
Awesome go for it
Just came for a brake and found you carving a face, I always learn something watching you carve, Thanks
Thanks grass hope you are well

:)
Excellent video, from a newbie. Can't wait to try this out.
Thank u
Over all Learn from This Man... It is Perfectly Explained.
Thanks Jordy!! You made me want to start engraving with my Dremel 4000. I ordered some burrs and a flexshaft. I can't wait to get started.
Awesomeness 👌
Jordy…! Thank you so much carving it’s so much fun with your technique …! Definitely the Best video I ever watch you got the Bit …😊👌
Thank u

So Cool , fun to watch!!!!
Superb tutorial Thankyou so much. Best regards from Scotland 🏴🇬🇧👍
This is something I've always wanted to try since I bought a Man Of the Wood wood spirit. I always thought it was complicated but it's not. Thank you, sir, for your wonderful video!
:)
Jordy I say this every time. Thanks to you I carve to relax and yes my carves don't look like others I see but they are mine. Thanks for the positive thoughts you always send our way. Be well
Thanks linda
Thanks for not over editing...it makes a difference. you have a gift my friend
I came across your channel a year ago by chance.
What a joy! I now have a new hobby/ art. Never disappointed.
No right or wrong. Yes some are better then others. I have carved many different woods. Some are better then others. Walnut and osage orange are difficult to me. Sassafras, mulberry and Basswood ( a little fuzzy). Cherry not to bad, slower and different burs.
Thanks, so much for sharing with us!!
Carve on.
Awesome thank you, try to find some cedar :)
Beautiful work and beautiful spirit man ❤️🔥
Thank you
I don’t know why CZcams recommended this video, I’m just fortunate that it did.
I have owned a Dremel for probably two decades, and never really considered trying to carve with it. I have only used it as a utility tool for cutting or sanding.
Thank you very much for the fantastic tutorial!
Awesome ty too and you can do it
Thank you soooo much for your time and knowledge. I’m preparing for cancer surgery in December and I’m getting myself setup for my downtime while I heal. This will become my medicine!!!
IDK why but this might be one of the best videos on youtube.
Thank you
I've been wanting a Dremel set for someone, this video has made me make up my mind. Thank you, great work.
Thanks again Jordy. I started carving after watching a 3 piece video for beginners made by you. That’s what got me inspired. Every video that you put out, especially those for beginners always help me to improve. 😊
Thank u and I hope you are having fun
At 70 I'm ready for a new adventure/hobby. Fairly inexpensive, and entirely possible with your videos. Now to get my daughter to buy me a nice dremel setup for Christmas. Should get more use than the $600 I spent on an electric guitar setup a couple years ago that now sits and collects dust. With this, I can make dust. lol
Haha yup u sure will and I just got a guitar that's collecting dust as well
Thank you so much for this incredible motivational video… I’m going to give it a go!!! Ty again!
Thanks for sharing this was the best how to any one has put forth!!!.
Hi Jordy, I just stumbled onto your channel and was absolutely astonished and couldn’t stop watching! Fascinating to see the hair and face appear! I’m 78 and love my Dremel tool but never did any carving! What a blast I might have and I’m a female! So enjoyable watching you. Thanks for the excellent instruction. Ps, love the spiral design!
Thank you Jean, that was my grandmother's name
I just received my Dremel 4250 yesterday. Can't wait to get into it.
I've become completely addicted to wood carving since I realized I can actually do this. This video made it possible. I've watched others but none compare to your step by step instruction and encouragement. I've done a few of these now and each one is better than the last. I'm finding noses are my biggest challenge
Awesome ? The more u do the better u will get, thank you
Practice makes perfect, or so the saying goes
I tried a wood spirit - I have never carved in my life.. I'm a 60 yr old woman and my hands dont work very good.. well, I followed very slowly what he said, and it turned out pretty dam good. Yes anyone can do this!
Thanks for sharing your gifts so generously, very inspiring.
Dude, this video is freaking awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. Your attitude when doing this makes the whole process seem like so much fun. You have inspired me to start trying some of these. This was a great video and you are talented and funny, thanks again for the post.

JORDY!! Okay ... So I was sitting around thinking about a new hobby I want to get into. I was always amazed by chainsaw carvings which led me to your videos. Within 10 minutes of watching this video I was ordering tools. Long story short, a week later and I have carved my first spirit and its so cooooooool!! Your guidance was so inspiring and helpful, the step by step tutorial, your encouraging demeanor mixed with your laid back but very detailed approach to training this stuff is outstanding! Thank you again, I know for me personally this will become a life long thing and I don't think I would have took the plunge had I not ran across your content! You're the man JORDY!!!

Hello fellow Canadian! U can do itttt
I’m a baby at caving. I did once, it looked like the original planet of the apes so I took that all back off and I’m doing another one same one but my nose is wider deeper sockets for the eyes so I think it might work out. thank you so much I don’t care what people say yeah you’re a little rough on your language, but I heard it all my life even as a Christian but I like your style a lot.
