HOW TO CARVE A CELTIC KNOT WALKING STICK

  • Welcome back to another walking stick wood carving video. In this one I recreated my first walking stick pattern, the Basketweave or Celtic Knot. This one started as a large diameter Butternut stick. In the video I take you through the steps I followed to carve the details and designs into this beauty. Finished off with some Teak oil and paste wax and you can see the dark beautiful grain.

Over in the UK we are particularly in Wales we are proud of our Celtic roots.
In Scotland they have a football team called Celtic the same way you pronounce it...
However the Celtic not, or anything to do with the Celts is pronounced " Keltic "
