@@lRedBaronl building mechanics are great. I agree TOTK story is not good. As a stand alone game, even as a zelda clone, totk lore would be amazing. Just change all the names and it is a very good story.
Literally we NEED Twilight Princess, best Zelda game. And I'm pretty confident they'll port the HD version of TP and WW to the Switch this year.
Or perhaps even a new remaster of ocarina of time and majoras mask.

Minish Cap is in my top 3 Zelda games, so I'm always hoping for an HD remake of that.
I know it won’t be possible because of the developer’s’ decision but I feel a need for the Master Mode and a DLC side story in Tears of the Kingdom.
There is much we do not know about the Zonai, the unknown identity of the Ancient Hero, and there is very lil backstory of who this version of Ganondorf is before he becomes the Demon King.

For Hyrule Warriors, I am hoping for a sequel to Age of Calamity since Ganondorf May exist in this alternate timeline.
That would be a fun take! Since it's a semi-canon alternate timeline, just let the game & story go wild with possibility.
Possibly set a hundred or so years after Age of Calamity-if the damage done to Hyrule Castle was enough to disrupt the seal but not break it completely, then it’ll take about a century until it completely fails.
I would also like to see a age of calamity sequel too!

An Ocarina 4K release would be pretty cool, especially if it shows Aonuma and Nintendo at large that maybe looking at least a *little* bit into the past isn’t necessarily such a backwards limiting idea. I feel like successful Ocarina and Majora 4K remakes have to happen first before they ever consider a from the ground up 3rd installment for Time Link tho. They need proof that it’s worth it first.
Well this might FINALLY be the year I get a Swtch, so besides getting BotW and TotK, I would LOVE to see a Wind Waker or Twlight Princess port.
Unless a TOTK re-release adds features like user uploaded custom vehicles, it would be exhausting to play through it again

I feel Spirit Tracks is more a direct sequel to The WindWaker. But I am still curious if this Zelda is a descendent of WW Link and Tetra. If so, they might of settled down on the land they have found and started a family on their own.

That one took me a while to really get into it but yeah it's amazing too, I'd def. get a Switch copy if they made it.
Some ideas:
- Twilight Princess remastered (again) to show off the power of the Switch 2 like what we got with Metroid Prime
- Age of Calamity 2. Zelda and the champions fight against a revived Ganondorf. The backstory is probably different since presumably Zelda doesn't go back to the past
- New 2D game or the Oracle games getting remade with a third title focusing on Farore
Imagine combining Skyward Sword , Twilight Princess , The Wind Waker , Majora's Mask , Ocarina Of Time's worlds and maybe even Ocarina Of Time Ura's Dark World in one game.
I'd definitely be interested to see The Minish Cap getting a ground up remake on a different engine. I'd definitely play it and I remember loving it as a kid as that game got me invested in the Zelda series. Ocarina of Time, Nintendo should do it using Unreal Engine. It is possible and someone has done it before. If they do it for the Switch or if they do it for a future system, I don't know. But I'd definitely would love to see where they go with it.
Ocarina of Time would make more sense, (especially for a big awesome new next gen system), but I really want a brand new 2d Zelda instead. I imagine the studio making either of these games would be Grezzo, meaning it's one or the other.
Not only are we overdue for a new 2d Zelda, but getting one on the Switch 2 would mean we'd get a NEW Zelda game for the launch of the Switch 2, so close to TOTK.
They'll probably do OoT instead though, as to visually showcase the new system better.
More than anything I want a completely new 2D Zelda. Minish Cap 2 or similar would be amazing and my biggest hope is that Nintendo has been secretly working on it and is going to surprise us with it in the Feb direct
they could have both BOTW and TOTK in the same cartridge as a single game since it stars the same hero, the hero of the wild and TOTK is a sequel. Not to mention they had that leaked info BOTW 4k on a previous event. And TOTK not having a DLC? then it's a no brainer to also show the power and the capability of the next console to have the 2 open world titles to run in 4k 60fps on the new console

Since Fujibayashi & Aonuma decided to move on from the Wild era, my hope is the next Zelda game have a much better established Link x Zelda relationship since these two have such a great chemistry as well done in both BOTW/TOTK & Skyward Sword. Don’t care what anyone or producer Eiji Aonuma or anyone has to say.
Man HD Minsh Cap and Oracle of Ages/Seasons that doesn't require link cables would be so awesome!
Minish Cap should definitely be released as a remake, a brilliant game from beginning to end. OoT would be a dream come true as would MM.
I don’t think there’ll be anything added or new in the release of TotK switch 2, only a 4k. I think they’re spending all available resources on a completely new Zelda game, which is way more exciting.
I am currently playing the Ship of Harkinian PC port of Ocarina of Time with modern controls and graphics. All I can say is that this game still holds up big time. I would definitely buy it again. Still my favorite game of all time.
Honestly I really wish they would remake or even remaster Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks one day. Both games deserve love!!

I'd personally love to see a zelda game that's a prequel to minish cap. They do mention a hero of men that we don't play as who wielded the picori blade. Be it a pokemon conquest, hyrule warriors or botw/totk style game, I'm curious to see how they handle the story we never truely see
The capcom Zeldas deserve a remake, but I feel those might be up in the air considering those were made in partnership with Capcom...
I would be soooo mad if they made an extended version of Tears, I've already played through the whole story and beat it, all shrines included just slowly working on Korok seeds and caves, and am going through it a second time just for the story, I love the game but I hate shrines, I don't want more shrines, I want better effing dungeons and my freaking heart pieces back (I know. I'm a cry baby) that should have happened with Tears. At least the aesthetic improved I guess. But yes, a switch or switch 2 TP/WW or any kind of remaster would be awesome!

Link's Awakening for the Switch was announced the same year it came out.

Nintendo has stated on numerous occasions that it hopes to release a Zelda game each year. Whether that is a new game, a remaster or even a remake. Or possibly even a Spin-off.
Please Nintendo - Remaster or Remake every Zelda game. Just keep them coming. We want to buy them!!

I honestly would be more than happy just getting the 3DS version of OOT ported to Switch.
A remake of the original Legend of Zelda would be amazing, with it having quality of life improvements.
I'm surprised to see clips from Link between worlds, and it is quite a coincidence because I started a new playthough today.

I believe that as a first Zelda on the new system will be a upscaled/4K Breath of the Wild version.
Since that way they can afterwards release the TotK receiving the same treatment.
People have been rumoring for a 4K Ocarina of Time as well. As much as I’d really love it, I think it isn’t coming soon, rather.. I am betting in a Link to the Past revamped version, I would SO like this!
My last bet would be a revisiting to the two first Zelda games. Could be a thing. Although for me, both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are spiritual revisiting of both first two games in how the games are.
The first one focused in the world and the second one with deeper temples

We likely wouldn't get a full fledged game in 2024 but i think they'll announce something, id definitely be on board with a hyrule warriors that told a more cohesive story about Ganondorfs return in the age of calamity time-line but i think it would take away from the conclusion of tears of the kingdom, maybe an age of calamity set in the ancient past that tells a deeper story of Ganondorfs rebellion and his eventual rise to power and the war the ensued, and keep the original story plot, dont abandon it to bring in old characters and change the outcome.

Whether it’s this year or in the next few years, I’d love to see Nintendo make a Xenoblade-style RPG for The Legend of Zelda. Since Monolithsoft played a role in developing BotW and TotK, why not let them make a Zelda RPG that plays like Xenoblade. In addition, BotW already had a collaboration with Xenoblade 2 with Rex’s armor (and same should have been for TotK with 3 by including Noah’s clothes).
for the next zelda after the wild era, I'd love if they'd continue in the wind waker era in the "new hyrule" after spirit tracks. I want to go back and rescue the master sword underwater. I just can't bear that Fi is left down there for all these years in ganondorfs skull.

If your a console gamer, and not a pc one like myself, get yourselves a series x (yes I know it's expensive) sign up to dev mode, download retroarch, and you can play near perfect hd versions of all these zelda games and more!
I'd say TP is basically the ''missing Hero of Time'' game. It builds upon OoT and thus forms a trilogy.
If they do decide to bring ocarina of time hd to the switch, i personally think it would be great to have make it a combo pack with majora's mask hd and also have master quest for oot
3:18 That Minish Cap concept art kind of looks like a point and click game, which is neat, in a bizarre way (also vaguely reminds me of that fake kinda CDI looking DS Zelda). I kinda want a Minish Cap sequel or prequel where you play as the Minish equivalent of Link in the Minish world, rather than a remake. The original still holds up perfectly well.
I think we'd absolutely get a port of wind waker or Twilight princess but I really don't want a 4k ULTRA graphics version of majora and ocarina.
I've always hated those OCARINA UNREAL ENGINE 60 FPS plus their already on the switch with the upgrade.

I don't know if they can do this and plus we already know the story. But I would like to play as Rauru in a tears of the kingdom prequel. It doesn't have to be a long game. Maybe 30 hours to beat it. Just price it accordingly. But I think that would be really cool to go into the next generation of Nintendo switch. Some people might think of it as DLC so that's why I'm like price it accordingly. But maybe this way you can even play as Zelda and yes link wouldn't be a part of it. We already know his part in the story. But I wouldn't mind if they did a deeper dive into that.

We need a Skyward Sword prequel w/ left-handed Link as the protag, Hylia as the deuteragonist, the Master Sword as Link's unbreakable sword (Link's left hand only), the Hylian Shield (Link's right arm only), and a great romance between Link the knight in green and his lady Hylia as spouses (married to each other as hubby AND his wifey). Demise was the main baddie in the 25th anniversary manga, so he should the final boss! Link died a slow death as the Hero, so leave his slow death scene AND Hylia's Pieta fully intact. The final scene before end credits should have Link AND Hylia happily reunited in Heaven's Kingdom w/ the righteous dead clappin' AND cheerin' as the lovebirds embrace.

My head canon is Hyrule Warriors is canon and is the reason BotW is a mix of time lines.
I also really wish Link Between Worlds would get a remake so it's not forever stuck on 3DS. It's too good.
I think we're getting ONE of the GameCube remasters this year, not both, and it'll be $60.
And they will sell a special edition with an art book for $80, and you will buy it. And the amiibo. Happily.

I'm gonna throw my biased (old) opinion in here. Since the first time I played it, and every game since, A Link To The Past has been my all-time favorite. I think they should give that one the "Link's Awakening Remaster" treatment. It would look so good in that style. I play ALTTP at least once a year, and it is equally great every time I play it.

I am not quite sure If I would buy a remake of the Minish Cap - I have played the original multiple times and still love the graphics - though I would be totally into it if it was a sequal
I forgot people hated wind waker at first.
It was my first GameCube game, and I loved that its style was easy enough for me to draw
Also, everyone talks about OOT remade in a totk style, I want minish cap ported into it.

Honestly, I'd be pretty ticked if i they released a deluxe TOTK exclusive to the switch NX. And i've spent a lot of money on Nintendo over the years. The Zelda trilogy sounds much more welcome to me. Also, perhaps re-releasing zelda 1,2 and ALTTP as a 'all stars' type release, but with some moder quality of life upgrades to 1 & 2 would be pretty awesome

@@jockson7574No, just Heart Containers. If they did both, then that’d make the Stamina Vessels odd. It’s more accurate to say that they need to add in the last 8 Light of Blessings. And even then, that could very easily be done with a content update or DLC.

@@jockson7574 Yeah, because you can only have 1 of them complete. You gain Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels from using Light of Blessings. You have Full Hearts, but not Stamina, whereas I have Full Stamina but not Hearts. So still, it would only be 8 Light of Blessings needing to be added. Some would use them to complete their Hearts, like myself. While others would use them to complete their Stamina, like you. The original commenter obviously has full Stamina, so all they’re missing is 2 Hearts. 4 Light of Blessings can get you 1 Heart Container, or 1 Stamina Vessel.

If we don't get TPHD and WWHD ported to switch, I'll be incredibly disappointed.. I love both of these games, and the fact that the ports haven't come sooner probably means they're gonna be announced during February (coping)
I noticed that if hyrule warriors age of calamity is considered a canon timeline it might mean that in that timeline zelda never went back in time and became a dragon or atleast not the botw version of zelda since by the time mummy ganon awoke zelda would of been dead as well as link maybe different zelda and link would exist then because that does happen more than 100 years later
I think i saw one of the directors say ganon only woke up because of the extensive damage the calamity caused to hyrule castle, that also happenned in age of calamity, the only diference would be that it would happen 100 years early and the champions would be alive
What’s ironic in the two Oracle games is that this is the last known appearance of Twinrova before briefly brought back in Tears of the Kingdom… and we get to see Zelda kissing Link at the end of each game (proving Zelink also exist in this underrated continuity).

I don't think tears of the kingdom deluxe is happening anytime soon, because tears of the kingdom has just been released and it's to early to excpect a tears of the kingdom deluxe. The legend of zelda tears of the kingdom deluxe won't be happening until after 10 years or 12 years

2024 would be the best year if they make a MC remake but keep in mind it’s one of the less successful Zelda game (by sells), even if it is a well appreciated Zelda, I don’t think they’ll take the risk to remake one of the less selled Zelda
Minish Cap does not need a remake, it has aged extremely well. If there's a 2D Zelda game that needs a remake/port, I'd argue for the BS/Satellaview games. Also a full scale remake of OOT/MM on the scale of FF7 remake would be a really hype project cycle for the next Zelda games.
This would be the 4th release of twilight princess and 3rd of wind waker
