The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake and Windwaker HD remastered in Nintendo Switch 2 is what I wanted since both are my favorite 3D Zelda games!
Twilight Princess hd too. Honestly though I want it be remastered the way the TP stage in Smash Ultimate is with the GameCube controls and item select. I cannot fathom why TPHD ditched that for the older style menus on Wii U.
I wouldn’t count on a Wind Waker remake since it was already done on the Wii U, same for Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword (except that one was on the Switch). A HD version of Ocarina of Time is more likely.

I hope they do a brand new Majora's Mask remake on this console. It would be really cool, and they could take the good things from 3D, remove the bad things, and add some extra stuff.

@@HyruleGamer Yeah. An Idea that I have is to have a "secret ending and final boss" for when you get the Fierce Deity Mask. If you get the Fierce Deity Mask, the final boss feels almost too easy, and if they added another final boss, it would fill that gap.
I want them to remake _Ocarina of Time_ and _Majora’s Mask…_ and then make a third game in that style, playable in the new graphic style, but also with N64-like graphics, completing the Hero of Time Trilogy 👌

This year we’ll get Twilight Princess and possibly Wind Waker for the Switch. For the Switch 2 I think most likely those games will be ported to the Switch 2, then we’ll get Ocarina of Time Remake, Zelda Minish Cap Remake, a Link to the Past remake

Zelda RPG: The legend of the seven sages.
This is the plot:
Link, as a well known hero in Hyrule, goes off an adventure to save Zelda from Ganondorf, who recently kidnapped her. Link makes it to Ganon's Castle and fights Ganondorf. But all of a sudden, a colossal wand named Gamelon, with a Face of Evil, drops from the sky and crashes into Ganon's Castle, expelling the hero, the princess and the villain from its insides. Then, the wand tells Link: "sorry, Link. I won't give a victory. Come back when you are a little bitMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... less of a f*cking loser".
Link goes to Kakariko and Impa tells him that the only power able to defeat Gamelon lays within the seven Sages (Fuck the Triforce, this is my spin off and if I want to, the ultimate relic of the gods will be a Whopper from Burger King).
And that's the plot. My uncle works at Nintendo and told me that at some point we can find Captain Falcon sleeping in an inn, and there is a church or something where weddings take place and you can accidentally marry Tingle.
I'm praying that they focus more on the zonai technology in the next Zelda. That mechanic needs to evolve. And don't say they won't, Zonai are the original ancestors so every level of Zelda games can uncover this technology. Ocarina of time with giant robot cars would be a fun twist lol

I wonder if in the new one they'll go full Elden ring ( havent played so correct if im wrong). but I feel they'll go the twilight princess more serious/realistic route ( like OoT to TP ). would love to see a Gleeok in a more realistic setting.
but 2 things more important. I hope they include an instrument once again, one with magical properties for warping and gameplay altering abilities. And.. if they go they open world exploration route with dynamic feeling gameplay and even dungeons. bring back real dungeon items and let the treasure you find during exploration at least have some significance, instead of giving us everything in the beginning, causing the rest you find to feel repetitive and unimportant. it would make a lot more impact if you find one or two outfits with special powers throughout the game, instead of finding an outfit piece in every secret chest that has no particular abilities that are really useful. just like finding Link's gear in Elden Ring. which in a more realistic setting feels so much more epic. something like that
and yeah sword masters who give you scrolls/ secret skills in combat! definitely that. like TP hero shade, or the swordsmen from minish cap
personally, i think the next game will be in the same world in a different time, i wont be a sequel, but a prequel, and places that are ruined in botw and totk, will be more fully developed, with a more complex interior, i also think the shrines might be integrated with the world, without a load screen separating them
Hopefully they can fix the dungeon issue. As much as I love the open world games the dungeons are just such a downgrade (though TotK's are significantly better than BotW's).
It's a pity that these games with huge maps, had so small dungeons...I hope nintendo returns to the og style ,for dungeons at least.
To take with a grant of salt but someone who works at lego and who's directly in contact with nintendo for their projects together told me that the switch 2 is supposedly coming out in september 2024 with an HD version of breath of the wild as the launch title

I think the next game which could be out around 2028 would have the same TotK/BotW Link and Zelda but in a different world as Aonuma said that he has done everything he wanted in the 2017 world that's why I think the next game is not going to be located in Hyrule but will still be open world as I think that is going to stick with the series just like OoT was to the next games until BotW

I assume you're using 2028 as the basis from the wait between BotW and TotK, which were the only two games developed with a wait that long, and during an unprecedented global pandemic that changed the way the world works and collaborates?
The only other wait even close to that was Adventure of Link to A Link to the Past (4 years) and Link's Awakening to Ocarina of Time (5 years).
No way they will wait that long. Zelda is a huge system seller and they need to drop a new Zelda title in order to not have a Wii U deja vu. Switch 2 will be similar to the Switch the way the Wii U was similar to the Wii. They desperately need strong games.
@@thediesel1241 I think they will drop a remaster/remake in the meantime but the big one is going to be 5 years apart from TotK, SS was 5 years before BotW and Totk 6 after BotW so at least 4 or 5
It think, if the next console gets backwards compatibility (it would be a bad decision not to), that Nintendo should release updates to the switch library removing some barriers, like lowered frame rates and resolutions, or draw distance. Minor changes to just allow these games to use the next console to its limits. It would make the next console appeal to the type of gamers who really care about getting over-the-top performance. And generally makes sense to do.
Boosted modes on breath and tears at release should be a thing why not. It wouldn't hurt more sales and replys
They're definitely doing Twilight Princess HD for the Nintendo Switch; and Ocarina of Time or Oracle Games Remake for the Switch 2.
To be honest, the art style and visual brilliance of Tears of the Kingdom was PEAK for me. It is already all those things you mentioned. It is absolutely jaw droppingly beautiful as it is right now, and I am fine with that. For me this is where it peaked. I hope they don't aim to make it more realistic or beautiful or have more details or try to outperform the art and visual style of BOTW/TOTK. It's already simply perfect. I hope they rather work more on the story, new characters, items, enemies and take this next game to the great sea. Both exploring the sea/islands, and the world underwater. That would be so epic!
I know it won’t be possible because of the developer’s’ decision but I feel a need for the Master Mode and a DLC side story in Tears of the Kingdom.
Hopefully in the Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
There is much we do not know about the Zonai, the unknown identity of the Ancient Hero, and there is very lil backstory of who this version of Ganondorf is before he becomes the Demon King.
Conceptually they seem done with it, but also people bought a full game at full price already (and depending on the region setting a new higher price), I doubt they'll dare say "remember what you were missing? here it is for extra buck". DLC can be a great thing but not when its content should have been part of the base game. Master Mode would need to be substantial or with extra interesting challenges, as the one in BOTW was pretty lazy and arguably shouldn't have been behind the paywall.

A deluxe version of TOTK is our best bet if not dlc. This is the best way Nintendo can redeem themselves after losing the game awards. We also need trial of the sword and kass to

Re-releasing the with deluxe content would be a huge slap in the face. Sure, i would love master Mode, another type of sword trial and extra dungeon like botw dlc. Dont really mind Kass absence though.

My friends and I have been debating what the launch title will be for the next console. Our top contenders are a new 3D Mario (Super Mario Galaxy 3 anyone?), Metroid Prime 4, remastered Botw or Totk, or an Oot remake

BOTW had delays and was ported to the Switch during development. TOTK was developed during a pandemic. I don't see the next big game taking as long, assuming there are no major delays.
The Switch does have streaming. It's basically just Hulu, CZcams, and Twitch, but still, there is some stuff.
Personally, there is one game that I hope comes to Switch 2… A Link to the Past HD

I definitely miss dungeons. I hope they bring them back with items in them to progress throughout the game.
There are a lot of vocal people on the internet who want a new game that's similar to the more classic Zelda titles, but BotW + TotK sold more copies than the entire rest of the Zelda franchise *combined.* Nintendo doesn't have a reason to go back to the old formula, which was sagging in sales and subject to lots of complaints after Skyward Sword came out. I'm pretty sure the Wilds era formula is going to be the base standard going forward, although I expect the strongest complaints to be addressed with each subsequent game (i.e., dungeon design)
Hot take: I hope the next mainline title sticks to open world, same map (with changes and expansions), drops all the stuff used in the old games, and expands on mechanics and open world action. Shrines can go, but we don't need to rely on dungeons and region locking devices any more.
I heard that the switch 2 may be backwards compatible, so totk might be on it, allowing for better framerate, higher ultrahand limit, and link's house room limit
I would love if the next game would keep the open-air design for the most part, but through a new lens.
Imagine a massive ocean, like in The Wind Waker mixed with Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, only you are a pirate commanding a large galleon, who needs to maintain his ship and crew, visit islands, and fend off the dangers of the sea. Maybe they could have the ocean floor be similar to The Depths.
Or, something like the Batman Arkham Games or Insomniac's Spider-Man, where you need to run on the rooftops of buildings and glide between different locations, and use gadgets for better traversal, and like in Tears of the Kingdom, you have a vehicle as well to help.
Or...an open air 2D Zelda! They had a concept for a 2D Breath of the Wild in early stages of development...why not something like that?
Whatever they do next, I have faith it will be an incredible time!
For sure, I'd prefer if we stay open-air but just keep working on it and developing it for Zelda games! It's the best way forward for the mainline series imo, and for 3D Zelda I think it works great and is improving at an okay rate :)
That's already confirmed it's open air and expansive and creative that's the new format for the series hopefully not hyrule and more water seas oceans and underwater play
I obviously doubt they would release a brand new mainline game so quickly after TOTK but part of me hopes they've been working on a new game in the background, considering TOTK used a lot of the groundwork from BOTW maybe they've had part of the team work on an entirely new game. At least I'm hoping it wont take 5+ years again but obviously I wouldn't want them to rush things either
More realistically though I would love to see MM/OoT remastered considering how janky they are to play these days, they just haven't aged that gracefully. Still love them to death but even with the fan made ports they still show their age. Wind Waker would be easy money for them if they were to just release the Wii U HD version again, that game really doesn't need more remastering than that except maybe higher frame rate.
It’s definitely interesting and exciting to think of what will be coming, I think the next Zelda title will be mind blowing.
As for the next console, it’s intriguing ti say the least.

What I want most, but probably is not going to happen, is a new 2D Zelda. Maybe some thing as good as Mario Wonder. But this probably ain’t happening. Hopefully at least a new remake.😅

@railfanningpoints2.045 not speaking for the guy, I'm not sure what they'll say, but if I can guess it's because of the bombshell that there was canonically a non-hylian Link at some point in the past is such a fascinating reveal, and it would be really interesting to see a story featuring them. That isn't to say that the next game will feature Ancient Hero, especially since his story (that we know of) was of him and Zelda going up against the first Calamity of 10,000 years ago, but now there's the possibility of us having a completely brand new reimagining of Link
@@railfanningpoints2.045 we went from him being on a tapestry (and the cartridge art in the U.S.) in BotW to him being the ultimate "completion" reward in TotK. I don't think they would just leave him with only that. I think they've been wanting to evolve the series for a while (for better or worse depending on who you ask) and I think that's the next logical step- having a different hero besides Link.

@Hairo-rv9kl Rauru built the Shrines Of Light originally to imprison monsters. This was even before Ganondorf first attacked the kingdom. The imprisoning war where Rauru sealed away Demon King Ganondorf was about 10k years before the 1st malice Calamity. Rauru never met the Ancient Hero who was 10k after his time. It's not explained in the TOTK why Link receives the Ancient Hero's armor (aura) as a reward for completing all the Shrines of Light. I mean there is a major plot hole. We know the Ancient Hero wears Zonai garb, but we know he isn't Zonai or Hylian. The 1st Calamity occurred at the apex of the Ancient Sheikah era when the Guardians, Divine Beasts, and Sheikah Shrines were first built.
Eh... I could see us getting the official announcement of the next console, but I feel it'll probably release next year at the earliest. As for the next Zelda, I had a concept in mind. What if Link was put on the back foot by being accused of kidnapping the princess and hunted by the castle guards? You could adjust the difficulty manually by fighting the guards patrolling the kingdom, thus causing tougher guards to begin appearing. The main story will be Link traveling around clearing his name by finding out who really kidnapped Zelda. There's a lot more to the concept, but I'll keep it short for now. Let me know if you guys want to know more.

11:14 Anything to improve traversal is A-OK in my book. The Main Flaw with Ocarina of Time that I find is that Traversal with Young Links Sucks and Adult Link also sucks in areas where you can't use Epona or the Longshot. They should have given the Bunny Hood in Ocarina of Time 3D it's abilities from Majora's Mask.

They should go back to the idea of sailing the open seas. We know that The Wind Waker had many of their ideas cut out due to technological limitations. This included a fully explorable underwater section. This idea is definitely possible now if the Switch 2 is as powerful as the PS4. Imagine a new game being a long treasure hunt where Link has to fight pirates along the way.
Bonus: Link's hometown is Koholint Island, but not a dream this time

I really don't find any Switch rumor being remotely believable. It's just people guessing. If any of it were concrete we would be given proof.
The next Zelda for the love of God please return items that we accumulate throughout the game. I hate getting all the subpar abilities far too soon and with no progression will with how they can be used. I hate the combat system it peaked in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword dropped the ball not retaining the hidden skills that would have been perfect for every subsequent game particularly it with it's motion controls. I hate how empty and repetitive the open world games are. The size of them are bigger than it needs to be so they recycle the same shirne,korok etc puzzles ar nauseum. If your game is padded that much then things have to be cut. For the love of God please tell a story again. The fragmented memory formula sucks. Bring back good side quests like MM,TP and SS the latter one being extremely underrated in that aspect. Dungeons need to actually test player skill and feel distinct from one another. It really isn't hard Nintendo. Lastly please let the next Zelda not stutter all the time.
Tears of the Kingdom Turned out to be "Breath of the Wild: Nuts & Bolts" BUT GOOD. I have not the hubris to try to predict what they will do next.

I wamt the art style of twighlight princess or more real of a feel. The dungeon designs heart finding and FISHING of OOT. And the freedom of TOTK. Basically a more realistic looking OOT on a BOTW type map. Would blow everyone away.
I really in awe and love about the open world feeling in both games but I wish Tears of the Kingdom allow us to have a playable Princess Zelda since the game’s story is divided into two.
Hopefully the developers do consider it since they talked about letting the Princess of Hyrule have her own adventures and makeup that lost opportunity in Skyward Sword.

Honestly I just want Elden ring in the Zelda universe. Can you imagine Link exploring those big castles, caves, and beautiful open world with the talent of Zelda developers. It would be amazing. Also it should be 1440p minimum I'm tired of 1080p and everyone else should be too considering how expensive this new system will be.

i was kinda hoping this video would explain any kinda of validity behind the rumors but sadly it didnt. All of the possible ideas are great and all but doesnt mean much if its all hypothetical. Great vid though.
Best stuff around these rumors is Digital Foundry's educated guess of what the new console could run, toning down wild expectations from people who only heard modern tech buzzwords. For Zelda, besides hardware gimmicks we can't guess it'll be another technical leap forward, where despite not being on par with the competition's raw power their first-party will slap, which visual fidelity helps but core values will still be overall direction and gameplay. Third-party should have room to breathe until inevitably multi-platform games get too ambitious or lazy in optimization. Just my take but I don't see what anyone can provide that isn't clickbait for now.
Historically every Nintendo system has released a new Zelda with it, I’m so curious what they do for S2 since we just got TOTK.
We are hoping for a remake or at least remasters of past games. I guess there is a slim chance of a new 2d Zelda but basically 0 chance of a new 3d Zelda for 5 years (my guess roughly). But maybe we will get lucky and it will come in a few years, but I doubt it if they stay with a large world. Here’s to hoping.

Based on Nintendos track record I think we should be more worried whether they'll even port botw or totk over to the new console.
Since director Wes Bell is planning to incorporate a Miyazaki style (like Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, etc) to this film , my hope for him, Nintendo & Miyamoto established the relationship between Link x Zelda.
They started out at best of friends in the beginning until he lost her. Finding Zelda had become Link’s motive that has nothing to do with saving the world. Then their relationship will evolved them into be lovers as the their journey to save the Kingdom of Hyrule progressed even further.. I’m sure fans would appreciate it.

I didn’t enjoy totk , quests felt like they had no great rewards and a lot of them were boring. The weapons breaking sucked in my opinion. The dungeons weren’t really that fun either. The world wasn’t that fun to explore either. BORING! I loved the older Zelda games like the dungeons and how you actually got great weapons or items that you actually used in further game to traverse other areas. Exploring new parts were fun as they actually had something to do with the main story. Plus puzzles were actually fun!

@@HipnotikHylian No, I think they mean Elder Scrolls. At the beginning of the game u pick your character's race, age, skin color, height, and weight and they would all have unique passive abilities. I think it would be a pretty cool concept for a LoZ spinoff. Think of a more fleshed out version of MM or HW i.e. u can play as a goron, gerudo, etc.

You're opinion just seems to be remake an older Zelda game, do the same as before, but again and different. Maybe play a different genre of adventure game? There ar wmany out there!
Nintendo making retro 3D Zelda sequel... that won't happen. TotK/BotW and Oot/MM are the only 3D Zeldas that take influence from the prequal, and that's only due to staying witht he same game engine. New hardware probably means a new game engine. Unless Nintendo can put more processing and run power, improve resolution and fix the drift, lag and buffering AND if th next LOZ isn't better than TOTK, I may be done with Nintendo all together. The switch sucks!!! And TOTK was super boring!!!! Sorry, not sorry. I said it!!!
