This reminds me of a phrase I noticed on a wall in an amusement park:
WE DON'T STOP PLAYING BECAUSE WE GROW OLD, WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING.
This man is setting an example for the rest of us.
Ditto
Wise words. I read a book called "Play" by dr stuart brown. Its mind blowing.......Jesus even said "if you want to enter the kingdom of heaven you must become like a little child"
Very true ,what a great phase ,aiming to run marathon under 4 hrs when 60 ,7 yrs to go
3.4million views and not one comment on this dude?
60 years old and still can work out like this... respect.
This goes to show: it's not fancy routines, expensive equipment, or supplements that get you fit. Dedication is what gets you there. Mad respect to this dude!
True
Funny thing is, this video is on a channel that sells fancy routines. And here is this guy that does 3 exercises and nothing else.
@@ermalkoci1361 people let a lot of these dudes fool them .. a lot of them are on TRT
I want to thank the person who filmed this. It has inspired me to work out every single day by running 8km to 16km and doing pull-ups and dips at the park for the past 3 years. I never knew someone can look so great even after hitting 60 years old by continously working out. Shows you, you are never too old to work out and look buff. In fact, it has also inspired me to continue my academics and improve myself in other areas in life even after middle age - not about making more money, but just improving and being a better person overall physically and mentally.
He will be 69 by now and hope he still has the same energy!
I hope this man is still alive and in super health.
no one know him ,we need another video for this legend
I saw this years ago and never forgot it........I'm 45 now and I am going to give his workout regime a go, his body is good for any age.......RESPECT!
You are almost 50 how is it going?
@@exotictrap_ right I wanna now
I think for the viewers, this is a really inspirational video. The best drug on earth is exercise.
Exercise and music, and you will be happy forever.
I've found losing weight and getting in better shape at this mans age pays dividends. At this age I don't want to rely on the medical system the way it has become. So healthy food and exercise has become a sort of hobby for me. I've learned about natural based supplements and alkalyzed water for example. Seeing people dependent on medications when they get older, mostly because they didn't stay fit has motivated me. Yet I realize it's about balance, not vanity, and mental health. Mental health at its core is about practising my faith.
I'm in my early 30s, but I'm interested in natural supplements--where is a good (and reputable, and reliable) source of info about them??
NaturalNews.com
Also on CZcams, Mike Adams the Health Ranger. He founded Natural News.
Awesome. Thanks a lot!
My pleasure.
Old cat been thru it but these are the people with the keys to life. God bless you man.
That is insane. I'm so inspired after watching this video & I did 300 push ups yesterday (morning, afternoon & night - 100 each session) & I couldn't feel my arms anymore. Can't imagine 700 push ups a day.
Maybe he did 700 per week? 🤔
So when are we going to see an update? This guy's huge for any age, especially 60. We NEED more details on his workout program and his diet. I want to look like that at 20, let alone 60.
Really liking how you're showing people that have kept their fitness level up even when they're older ie 'super strong 64yr old' you posted last month - I'm 55 and find these a lot more inspirational than all the twenty-something athletes in their prime that all the other channels show since these are achievements that are actually possible with hard work and dedication for someone my age- keep up the great work!
*****
and you know how to use the internet.. i say you got all the bases covered!!
You rock Herbert, you've inspired me, since I've watched this vid 2 weeks ago I've been hitting the gym like a madman.
Even his skin doesn't look like that of a sixty old. There's no wrinkles or sagging parts anywhere on his body. Crazy.
Internet Tough Guy The reason he isn't that wrinkled is that black people have natural sunscreen. A white person that goes around in the sun everyday with his shirt of and no sunscreen is going to end up as wrinkled as an elephants scrotum. Just look at any 60 year old white body builder.
That's because black don't crack
U guys are so full of shit there are plenty of black men who have saggy ass man titties just as there are for any other race 😂 if you have good skin elasticity, no matter what race, you will look just as good when you’re older
@@h.8691 scientifically, those with African genetics have more melanin, nature's sunscreen.
@@bringingclaritytoconfusion3605 Yes but you can still develop wrinkles and sag no matter what race you are
What a triumph! Thank you for filming and posting this young man! Joseph H. 54 and re-motivated! God Bless.
This dude is a total beast , in now days there are 20 year old people who can`t do 7 pushups in one set , and this guy is 60 doing 700 a day.A real inspiration to train harder.
There you have it. A perfect example that for the most part, all you need is hardwork.
my excuse ? im lazy and unfit and old man you just motivated me thanks much respect
Seems you do not need much equipment to stay in great shape. Thanks for sharing.
So inspiring keep it up! Much respect to him. 🙏☺️
God bless u! You give me inspiration to stay in shape n never give up! Your sign is a capricorn like me! GOAT keeps climbing!
I like what you guys do Barstarzz. Calisthenic workout is the best.
The only fitness video you need to watch for the rest of your life!
That man has very good genetics. I blew out my shoulder at 50 doing bardip sets that I had been doing for many years. Then lower back. Degenerating disc. No more squats. At 58 I still work out as heavy as I can but it's a joke compared to before. This guy is holding it together very well. Has my respect.
pure force !!!!
this guy is now almost 68 years old, how is he doing? please update !!
Happy b-day keep up the good work
Much respect to this man.
You're an inspiration, sir!
Also dedicating my workout this morning to you!
2 thumps up....WAY UP!
how i wish i also have that determination he had, at age 60 still rocks...
than go for it ! suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion :D
AlimmiaHD just because you have muscles doesnt mean you're a champion
but maybe he feels like one :)
I read somewhere that he started pushing up after a divorce (do not know if it's true). Maybe that was his motivation
TolkienTV but having the determination stay muscular does.
How can anyone give this a thumbs down FFS, the man is awesome, doing what he loves and is bothering nobody, there are some screwed up folks out there
what a role model, straight up determination
WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE

wowwww he should be and inspiration to all but the old and feeble and the handicap.

Standing O for this man! How is he today? Anyone know?
we need more details and we need to see a new video and picture for him
Herbert, Happy Birthday! Love this video.
Seen this before.. came back for more inspiration
This is such a great video. I wish I could thumb it up some more.
I'll never lift weights again!

I agree with u sir
one of my heros:) rock on dude! its a shame how our excuses seem to vaporize when you see such individuals. exceptionally motivational. Thank you sir!
Holy. My new inspiration. No more excuses.
im just 21 and i think that this guy has a decent chance in outlasting me xD
huge respect
Great !! Mensana in corpore sanyo !!
Okay go old dude
This guy is a true inspiration, it just shows that if you stay active that you don't have to stop as early as people think. For example my grand dad is 83 and he has been farming since he was 16, the only health problem he has is that he is diabetic. Just shows. Good on you man!
I would like to see more of this guy!!
Just to clear things up for all the clueless people commenting YES this is totally attainable if you do a lot of push-ups, dips, and pull ups everyday. It doesn't matter how many you can do at first. Just start with as many as you can do for a few sets let's say 3 sets. Then as your able to do many reps start adding more sets. Because your doing this 5 times a week your body will become accustomed to the high volume of sets/reps. And for everyone commenting on the guys face you realize that the face is the one part of the body that's exposed to sunlight coupled with the fact that the face has many different muscles in it that wrinkle the skin when you make facial expressions. There's no other area like it on the human body. Add to that the likely possibility this gentleman probably doesn't moisturize his face everyday and that's why his skin looks the way it does. It's common sense people! Most of you will probably look like that when your 60 too unless you use lotion on your face 3 times a day and have good genetics. Get a clue already.
Also he may have done these exercises for many years. If he built it up earlier, he maintains it now. You need testorone to maintain muscle like that. I've been reading natural ways to boost testorone, with foods, and supplements, and ways to lower estrogen (which will reduce testorone). He could do this just through his exercises, and sleep, and the right foods. I have a friend a lot t like him, less muscle mass, but totally shredded, 3%body fat. Looks amazing, He's the same age, and he's never taken any drugs to do it. A lot of hard work, lifting weights, low stress, sleep, good food.
I'm wondering how does he look like on the end of 2019?
i really really wann know how is doing right now:)
Congrats and respect for the dude in the clip!!! Keep it up!!!
This motivate me to go back to the gym
Please, whoever uploaded this video, tell me how many pull ups does he do in each set? He doesn't say but you may have asked?
this is the kinda shit that motivates me not to slack and eat garbage
***** Farming is an integral aspect to the success of any culture and the remedy to our ongoing human condition. It's something I feel is necessary to remind mankind of his closeness to the world. Western society is so far removed from its true source and I see a spiritual dimension to the dilemma. What's that quote about "food-like products?" Smoking, booze and narcotics are obvious abominations of our age. They perpetuate states of crime, war, disease, poverty and suffering. Some would easily defend that they are in fact legal by those specific reasons for profiting off the void for solutions that they create. As much as it is a blantant war on humanity and nature, it is also a war on conciousness. I think if we had some sort of syncretic religious, philosophical and ideological revolution our problem would be instantly dissolved as resources have been becoming increasingly abundant with technology while incentive and motivation are no where to be found. I was also very religious because of the way I was raised, though I felt the grip and dogma of my local institution was a little tight for the way I would have liked to live my life so I've expanded to exploring mutliple faiths and drawing out their positive similarities. This is undoubtedly the definition of spirituality as I see it. Where I'm getting at is an honest solution and cure for this global pandemic of the mind, something I feel can be easily attained in the use of psychedelic substances in combination with religion, shamanism and other sacred ritualistic practices to promote a more positively behaved civilization. You're a religious farmer, what I would see to be in the perfect situation for such a journey. Have you ever considered ethnobotany? Or just know at least there shouldn't be any stigma between drug use and religion (in case you dont already). I wish I could afford a greenhouse with some good rich soil and an organic seed stockpile. Slap some solar panels on there and you got yourself a little piece of heaven believe you me XD

mad respect for this guy
Good job, respect man!!!
Are there any latest videos of him now?
bida1 No unfortunately he is hard to catch up with. I know he trains at Tompkins square park on 10 street and b avenue in New York City.

Finally! one person who doesn't believe everything he reads in the internet. good job. I was just lying.
Age isnt an excuse if i was jobless had no family or had loads of free time or my career revolved around fitness its easssyy(all about consistency) when u have a 9 to 5 office job 5 days a week then u can appreciate its harder...
This video has inspired me so dam much.
I hope this guy is still healthy and working out and staying safe during this pandemic.
Did he say 15 - 500 push ups? 7500 push ups a day? Or just 500 a day and then he comes outside.
think he made a mistake, he was stating the sets and then he fumbled and started saying 500 in the morning at home and 200 at the park
Thank Ü for the 2nd pair of ears sir!!! I was starting to doubt myself in a major way!!!
NUKnoEtv 10 set of 25 reps per day
NUKnoEtv per day
looks like the Boogeyman from WWE
lets see what you look like at that age
Absolutely amazing! Something to aspire to!!!!
AWESOME!
He does the same exercises 5 days a week and looks like that... at that age...that's insane...he destroys many of the rules held in high regard in the fitness community like .over training etc.
maybe now that he is fit, but this may not have been he case when he started.
CAVALRY ALPHA OMEGA FAITH MAJESTY THE AMEN I agree over training is a myth, just by taking two days off makes you slower and weaker, that's facts, none stop training brings you to a maximum peak look at Bruce lee.
Mcgyver B no it only increases your strength and endurance if you do it everyday and muscle growth is slower but if you do it every 48 hours it would increase your muscle growth.
He "destroys many of the rules held in high regard in the fitness community" because most of those rules are nonsense. Daily training is one of the best things you can do to excel quickly and consistently. Of course, to train daily volume has to be low in order to facilitate recovery. Most people are not willing to do 20-35 reps per lift/exercise and call it a day. Most people can't break out of the "more is better" mentality.
Honestly think over training only applies to weight lifting due to the stress it applies
STOP!!!

@Love Peace Thats because you're ugly
if he was white his skin would look older
So inspirational!
wow.. that's inspiration for you!!!
He only forgot a couple of things--lots of tattoos and a gold grille--all the bro's have em. Maybe he was raised in an era that didn't believe in marking your body? Maybe he knows something the kids haven't learned yet? One you're inked there's no erasing it.
wow lol
Why would you care if someone that isn't you is tattooing their body? Do you know how many people around the world tattoo their bodies? Do you know how old the practice of tattooing is? Worry about something else, man. There are plenty of things out there that are way more important. -____-
I suggest YOU worry about something else, butt hole.

GibSonLoGic hey, i wont stoop low , your face is fine .
but come on bro let's not be focusing too much on perceived negetive as opposed to positives .
I am turning 50 this year and have worked out consistently since my early 20's. I have a better physique today than at 18. Training natural the whole time. Not even creatine used. It is not smart to do the same exercises everyday. Must give body recovery time! This guy is on HGH or roids to do all that!!
Nice, try to switch over to bodyweight training because weights will wear down your joints faster, not only that but bodyweight training improve your mobility. Also research on how to keep your joints strong and flexible so you'll be able to do shit most 20 year olds when you're in your 60's.
Thanks for the comments. I actually do rely mostly on bodyweight exercises like pushups, dips and chin ups.
Nairb Matsuda I know a guy who did nothing but chin ups, pull up,dips and sit ups exclusively He would do only one of the exercises a day.On one of the days alternating every other day.If Monday was .chin up day he would do them in sets of tens like the guy in this video did and then skip a day and move on to sets of the other exercises. The guy was jacked and as far as I know never took roids or even supplements. His thing was plenty of protein, sweet potatoes and Green vegetables mostly raw.He would also take off one whole week every four months.
Sounds like a very effective program. Taking those rest days is critical. Do a bike ride or something for cardio on non-lifting days.
Nairb Matsuda Same exercises everyday means you'll get good at doing the exercise, which is what you want. You don't need roids or HGH to do that.
Logged this as a Favorite. Watch it everyday.
Respect!
Nice a true inspiration for everybody of all ages!!
