Hey flat earthers, this "round" is on us.
Don't be fooled. Watch the video again at the balloon's highest altitude before it bursts. Do you see any oceans? No you don't. It's the fish-eye lens of the camera causing the view to be distorted and appear as though the horizon is curved. That is what GoPros do. Look at what you perceive to be "curvature" and realize that the earth is NOT that small. You don't see any lakes and no oceans. Then go CZcams the term "Red Bull Space Jump" and you'll see the same thing. It's the fish-eye lens causing the appearance of curvature, but not a single lake, no ocean, but ONLY dessert in sight. Curvature has yet to be observed or measured in real life.
NineInch Nails so facts and science are foolish? 360° divided by 24 = 15° the sun's path travels 15° per hour, giving us the 24hr cycle. I've also seen both the sun, and moon in the sky at the same time so there's that.
NineInch Nails you are the reason. Why inbreeding is toxic to the world
NineInch Nails lol why don't you send up your own balloon without a fisheye lense? Dumbass
Citizen Banned I'm pretty sure you just won the internet, congrats!!
Next time use bottled water that way we cn see it freeze?
agreed that would be interesting to see how high a clear bottle of water gets before freezing before it makes its return to earth
Next time don't put shitty music in the video!
na dude beer is Godly
Alexzerotron Ya nice challenge
Coors is 99.99% water anyway, they could have just put it in a clear container...
Good way to cool a beer
Yea and after drinking it you will feel like your in space😂
The video missed the most important part... opening the can and tasting "space beer 🍻🍺🍻🍻"
The real question is who got to drink the space beer?
Agreed
People who believe in the flat earth theory disliked this video
+SXullZy I can't tell wether you are serious or you are joking
+SXullZy yes, you are stupid thats a fact
+Fourthz 44 I am troll-blocking SXullZy
Fourthz 44 I was looking for the flat earth comment and I found one 😂
Not at all, I liked it. It's obviously not a curvature test. The horizon was convex at launch.
You can tell its cold because the mountains turned blue...
?
Oh MY GOD!
Wow you figure that out all by yourself?
It's been part of the labeling of the cans for quite some time.
So blue represent all the cold things .. nice ..
Man that beer must have been out of this world
1950s: we'll have flying cars!
2019: first coorslight in space!!
And to think God struck me in the head with a Coors light beer...
could u imagine being at a party and saying
hey
want ur bear cooled?
u then proceed to do this
Run3Silver nah. It'd be better if you say that, and then you hold you hand and this falls into it.
nickrulercreator haha yeah
I prefer my *bear* hot.
dude if aliens will found these....they will die from the beer xD too much beer...
Run3Silver Yeah, it will be cooled to about the temperature of liquid nitrogen, probably explode, and take an hour!
I legit cried at the 7 min mark - can't believe we saw the sun. just so beautiful! love space
Imagine if you took a plane down trying to send a beer to space.
Now merge this with the ISS having an astronaut space walk out and pick it up to drink!
+KEN SHARPE Lol, the balloon was extremely far away from the ISS xD The balloon went up to 90,000 feet while the ISS is at 1.31 MILLION feet away
You "CAN" do it!
Also trying to catch it would be like catching something that goes 8 times faster than a bullet.
therealnightwriter then why can we see it in the sky?
You know they use those scuba tanks for practice, it's not like it's something secret
Great video. You should send all the coors light out there
That bass line shot me straight to space with my subwoofers
great work guys
Sure, since this is a 2.5hr flight, I can upload a few minutes at the peak if you'd like. It's pretty amazing.
guys lets send a beer into space!!
CNN:"...and the cause that downed flight 131 killing all 213 passengers onboard is still unknown."
stark1987 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude this was so cool
COOL! SPACE BEER! Awsome video.
dang, was really hping you were going to be able to locate it, and show yourself on camera taking a drink from it right after you found it.......
after being up in literally Space, if you were able to locate it after fell back to earth, would it be cold or warm?????
Andrew Silva Space is another 400,000 feet above where that can was..
Next time....use real beer. Coors Light is why aliens won't visit here!
Yeah whatever, that's real brilliant, coming from an epic fuckstick who calls himself StonedTroopers
Right! at least use a good IPA!
beer is beer
*chill*
Fucking hill Billy moonshine sucker
There are no good ipa's they are way to bitter. So much better craft beers out there.
Denne videoen likte jeg veldig mye. Bra jobba!
Imagine being a alien and you fly over earth and see a beer floating and then grab it and crack a cold one wit the boys
As much as I appreciate the mountains turning blue... having flown jets at 47000 feet over California... in the extreme rare chance of us getting close enough to this experiment and sucking it through an engine... that would really suck. In the Lear 31 we need both engines to provide pressurization at that altitude. If we lost one we would lose useful consciousness in all of about 10 seconds at that altitude. Coordinate with local authorities to launch high altitude balloons
Cheers aliens
i'm enjoy with this video, thanks guys . awesome :D
Imagine being in the space station and the beer floated past your window
Housten! We have a cold one!
flat earthers be like " IT HIT THE DOME OMG FLAT EARTH CONFIRMED 2018 DOME VISIBLE UFO SIGHTED IN TOP RIGHT CORNER OMG "
I'm curious: why would the temperature register -30F at 30 000ft, -10F at 90 000ft and 4F at 93 000ft ? Why would this happen? I thought it would get colder the higher the atmosphere.
+gnoam same question here, please?
+Джейсон Хичкок That's what I was thinking too: it would be the suns radiation on the mercury. Need a definitive answer.
+gnoam Objects at higher altitudes are exposed to increasing amounts of Infrared emitting from the sun, because the Atmosphere becomes significantly thinner and thus provides less shielding from high energy Electromagnetic waveforms than those at sea level. Astronauts face the same extremes of temperature during their EVA missions, as soon as they move into the Earth's shadow, it is possible to experience temperature changes in excess of 200 degrees Kelvin. Combine this with the fact that warm gases expand to occupy larger spaces in lower pressure environments and that energy differentials move naturally towards higher entropy (thus creating a cooling effect as the energy that was once contained in, let's say, a Coors can sized space has now distributed more evenly over several square meters of open air) and you get such temperature changes.
In short, The Coors Can sized space loses energy to heat transfer in the atmosphere, and once the atmosphere thins significantly enough, the sun's radiation heats it back up :D.
+deathgliger Exellent. Thank-you for the explanation.
yep, thanks...
So much great memories to this song. Thank you
Interesting job👏
Trying to prove to a flat-earther that the planet is a globe... He says this is a fisheye camera, an thats causing the curvature... I QUIT.
Yeah, but given that their intended use is not this, that is fine. The reason they're used is their availability.
Only noobs say this was fish eye, it's wide angle, which will still distort the horizon when not level. Armadyl is one of those noobs.
Matheus Barbosa u should old news man.
Jared Hempfield distortion key word
Pause at two minute mark. Earth turning u-shaped? It's definitely fish eye lens.
and people say the earth is flat. 😥
1st can of beer to be in space. 1 step for all beers lover and 2 steps for Coors light. The silver bullet...lol
Crazy cool how it looks up there. The way the sun is burning far far away in the background. We are lucky to be alive in this world. Cool video. Peace to all.
I did not recieve the beer so I am thirsty now.Shame.But a German beer would ne better next time tho.
Lol
Dude you stole mah nickname!
Jupiter ball of gases can't drink liquid, next time we'll send evaporated beer to space.
Jupiter e3e i want to see jupiter chan .....
Extraction Failed
Ok please send that too people who say that the earth is flat !
Wartani Khalil it look round cuz they are using a fish eyed lens
Władisław Raginis no it isn't lol......Have you not seen the new image? Lol
A fish eye would change from concave to convex as the view angle changes....this video does not...
We have all heard of fish eye lenses and know how they work. As I said in my previous statement ... "A fish eye would change from concave to convex as the view angle changes....this video does not..."
Doug Kichman it clearly does they sped it up play at quarter speed many times the "curve" is concaved so according to you guys we must live in a bowl if you rely on fish eye lens
Wow too cool of an experiment, I wish i was this curious. I kept wondering if the beer would freeze and explode, probably not enough time in the cold to do that though it would be funny. Cheers have a good one!!!!
Imagine sending 1000's of gallons of beer to the edge of space for it then to rain back down on us
Hamburgers, pizza and beer being sent to space.... "Come on E.T. let's party!!!!!! Wwhhoooaaa!!!"
100000 ft is nowhere near space, converted it traveled to the height of 30km, compared to the real altitude of space at 100km.
TheWalri 2.0 well it damn near space cause the ballon rip to pieces from the vacuum of space
terry jenkins who said it popped due to the vacuum of space? You do know if you go higher than the ozone layer you can absorb high uv ray and most of the sun's heat.
It's also impossible for a balloon to truly reach space because it requires atmospheric buoyancy to rise.
osu sucks how hard?😁
Wouldn't the beer get distorted if it was fish eye lenses, because it's something any flat earther here isnt s addressing
not even a flat earth troll but it is a fish eye lens and the can is distorted, look closely at the right side, use a ruler
Zreknarf thats just the can about to burst from pressure change do you even physics bro? 😂😂😂
it's curved at 0:06 ???
Zreknarf but are the surroundings? 😂😂😂 man you're gonna kill me with that flat earth shit
yes? look at the fucking fence in the background. it's curved more than a damn beachball.
Aside from the motion sickness, awesome video.
You can now crack open a cold one with the boys in the upper atmosphere. Fuck yes
conspiracy theorists be like: U CANT SEE THE STARS ON THE SKY THIS VIDEO IS FAKE!!!11!1!
Andii - War Enthusiast if you don't see e.t riding a bike it's also a fake...
Andii - War Enthusiast there are no stars because you would have to be at a higher altitude or it would have to be nighttime.
Richard Mather well, it was only in the stratosphere and you can't really see stars in the stratosphere. You would have to be somewhere high up above earth's atmosphere into outer space. But yeah I don't know why these people are commenting random shit about stars.
Andii - War Enthusiast stars at 7:15
Andii - War Enthusifake
Doooooooooooood, what would happen if like the thing just kept going and going and going and left the atmosphere and just kept on going and going and just like took off and went past the moon and past all the planets and like kept going and then just like left the milky way and kept going and going to the outer limits of space but then like kept on going until it flew out of God's ass. Doooooood, that'b be like the best commercial for Coor's light. Instead of Budweiser, it'b be God, this Coors is for you! And then he could send one of His brews back to us!!!!! Rock on!
We would not even have the footage
arath guijarro That's classified information
Went off beyond the galaxy, defying all odds and trough the boundaries XD
JGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE weather balloons can't exceed higher heights than the atmosphere,it can't go to space it just can't be done.
JGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it comes back better b cause it’s filled with alien piss
you right I might need one when I move up there..good LOOKING
Dumb question.. do they retrieve the camera or is it used once for a single footage like this? I know the video may be saved on a computer even without the camera, but just wondering
Very cool guys...but yep music was atrocious.
First song was ok second song I was tearing my eardrums out
That wasn't anywhere near space.
looking forward to it
So now we trying to introduce Beer to aliens? Instead of sending out a beer send them a blunt of the strongest cannabis.
So for the scientists, that's that's approx. -60 deg Celsius (or 198.15 Kelvin) at 28.346km...
Because real science works on the metric system ;)
+FreeFlamingInfinite Some of us prefer freedom units.
centexchris Hahaha! You guys crack me up...
You honestly don't see thru the thinly veiled patriotic slavery, do you?
Haha, you can be "free" under my rule any time.
+FreeFlamingInfinite How about shutting the fuck up. I use both and I am from the U.S.
+FreeFlamingInfinite Atleast capitalized the country's name if you want to sound intelligent. It looks like this United States of America. Oh yea, you are supposed to use a comma after you typed "Well". But look you still screwed your comment up by editing your own comment. This is how you need to disrespect someone and look intelligent. Unlike, you who comes on CZcams and "tries" to shit talk someone. When all the person was trying to was leave a comment letting you know what Metric System he/she uses.
Clever Pup Gaming Firstly, correcting gramma is a rather desperate attempt, my friend, and can be done by all. For example, you should NOT have had a comma after "Unlike", as it is absolutely unnecessary.
Secondly, nobody is trying "to sound intelligent" on CZcams, as that would be an exercise in futility with the overwhelming number of complete idiots making comments.
Thirdly, don't get so worked up buddy. It's just the court of public opinion. Nothing means anything here.
P.S. The non-capitalisation of your country's initialism was deliberate, I apologise, though the English language being spelled in "American" is somewhat of a global joke, not your fault.
I just want to point this out. That bottle wasn't actually in space. It was only in the stratosphere which is around 90,000 or 100,000 ft (20 miles above earth). Space begins at around 300,000 ft. The stratosphere may be close to space but it's not really space. You would have to be at a higher altitude to be in space. The title should be something like "Bottle In The Stratosphere" it shouldn't be "Bottle In Space" because that's not really space.
Kuhzen shut the fuck up
I just want to point this out. It's a can.
Funky JL
No doubt!
Buzz Killington award goes to...
Stfu santos
look at the reflection on the can... the horizon is level.. lmao
OK so how far away from the take off site to the landing site was it? It doesn't appear to be close at all. How long did it take to recover after landing?
This proves the earth is flat. I can see the edge where the boats fall off...
I will sopouse this is sarcastic
If its not sarcasm then your people are a failure of society
ive sailed the oceans blue. from eastcoast u.s to the west coast and western Continent's between. fuckers not flat i Promise promise
where are the flat earth troll?
+Les Automates Haha, ikr?
+Les Automates Haha, ikr?
+Les Automates Haha, ikr?
+Les Automates The earth is a flat circle!
+BRBallin1 like your brain.
GPS to find it? And how far was it found from launch area? Thanks.
did youi ever found it back? did you put a tracking GPS?
wish they would film this without a Fisheye lense
WestHaddnin Then flat earthers just say it's fake / CGI . There's no way of convincing such people. Hell, if you put them in orbit even they'd probably say you faked the whole thing...
Not fisheye
WestHaddnin it maybe because the focus is on the can not the surface of the Earth
Justin Mark Rivera no thats not a micro or macro lens thats a regular go pro. Secondly its not a fish eye lens because there is no distortion when they set it up, and they would have to place the can in the center or it will be distorted too.lastly if this was a fish eye the the earth wouldn't even be viewable because fish eye lens have a horrible depth of field Im in a collage TV, media, communications and film class. So i got receipts to back up my statements.

flat earth? lol
fish eye? lol
Galih Pratomo yeah in this video the horizon is curved even at 10 feet lol. Idiot
Seta Agung Wibawa 0:37 if its a fish lens, then why is the horizon here not round? :V
Carlos Alberto Mendoza Land?
Where is that drop anyways?
I watch other video that send thing to space too. The question is, why always balloon explode at 10,000 ft? Did they set the timer or what? or because of the atmosphere?
Dad, Bob broke your beer!
Where's all the satellites?
Higher than that.
bro u wont find a satelite there cause it would fall oh and remember the weather ballons reach only the edge of the earths atmosphere
simon barter Anywhere from 5 (LEO) to 1000x times higher.
So what keeps showing up above the can between 6:30 and 6:50? Seems stationary so can't be ISS, right?
Phildo850 it’s the weather balloon popping dummy
Gay music ruined it for me.....next!
Music was awesome!
And you are not.
Hung Over Well I guess we all have different tastes! :)
Yeah, you're right.
Whats funny is that I dont even drink. My name started as a joke long ago...and the profile pic I got by Googling "hung over"
Thanks to everyone for the views and coverage we've had lately! We spent lots of time preparing for this flight, clearing it with the FAA, and getting the tracking systems to work. Of course, we retrieved everything or you wouldn't be seeing this video in the first place.
Just gonna drink my beer from space
horrible music . had to mute that. better choice is to hear the natural atmosphere sound. mediocre video.
Squeamish Cactus maybe when you launch a beer into space you can put some good music.
Squeamish Cactus horrible user name, mediocre comment
Bring me that beer now!
You want to start an alien war...
Because sending aliens shitty beer, is how you start an alien war!
that beer belongs in space -_- nuff said
loved the music.i have to know was the beer frozen?or was it not frozen by the time you found it
Cracking a really cold one with the boys.
Was the can full and how come we don't see condensation or ice form on can???
What the he'll did you guys use to take it up their ?
Really diging the tuns man, were can i get them?
This is very good idea
Cool video. Great experiment. Great views!
I looked at radiosonde data on that day, at Miramar Naval Air Station. It is NEVER above zero anywhere in the stratosphere. It was -74 at the top of the troposphere, and the warming started. It only warmed up to -39 degrees C at 107,000 feet when the weather balloon popped.
The temperature data was still accurate at 40k ft on the rise, but started showing incorrectly above that until it crashed. I surmise this was due to the can turning completely to ice during the flight. When it was super cold the 'warm' can at 32 deg ice made it appear warmer than it was, and then even when the temperature rose to above 32 on descent the frozen can lowered the temperature on the thermometer.
Give your next space passenger the protection of a koozie. Or duct tape. :) I LOVE the video, it is greatness!
damn, you need that many people to launch a can of beer into space? i thought i'd be able to do it on my own...
+JAFET R Or Help, I Dunno.
Flat earthers will never drink coords again after this video
you know, you can look into the sky and see the sun right now! Don't cry, it'll be ok.
How did the can not expand with the low pressure and explode like the balloon?? I see some sort of clamp were the pop open tab is. Could that have something to do with it?
strange happenings I wondered this myself, until I looked up some data on aluminum beverage cans. Apparently cans can withstand pressure differentials of up to six times atmospheric pressure without exploding. So as long as the beer was packaged below 5 atm -- FWIW, it looks like many canned beverages are packaged at 2 or 3 atm from what I found on Google -- the additional 0.999 atm pressure differential encountered at 93k feet wouldn't harm the can. (Yes, there is a tiny bit of air up there, but about one-thousandth of sea level pressure.)
It was empty
Any way to see this video in a non-sped-up format?
This is the shit we do when we drink...im not lyin either😂😂
how far away from the launch site did it end up
You can see Edwards AFB! Damn you can see forever from that high up.
I want a super cold beer!!!
in an alternate universe, it was Rick and morty who did this.... for the dead glip glops...
That was cool asf
Is it lost forever or did you find it??
How did you get the footage
Brilliant.
If you pause it at 15 sec when they are in the car park you can clearly see the lens does indeed make the background scene look curved - the ground and fence are curved. Look with your own eyes
Was the beer still full? mine blow up in the freezer
Why is it warmer higher up and colder at lower altitudes?
Damn it I dropped my beer from 93,ooo feet
Here, Aliens. This is our famous piss water beer...
did they retrieve the camera?
