There are TONS of reasons why people cheat, but the most common is they're probably not being fulfilled with their current partner (in some form). Maybe they're not home, maybe they can't satisfy in the bedroom, maybe they keep taking money, who knows.... TONS of reasons. Another could be just simply commitment issues. Maybe they grew up in a broken house and saw their parents constantly fighting. Maybe they learned not to trust people they get close to, so they look for something elsewhere. I could go on and on.

I've always been curious about people homewrecking one relationship after being cheated on. I think it's a different kind of evil and a terrible way to regain control after being scorned. Tom Brady kept playing because he wanted more fame and power, he didn't do it to help or support his family. He cheated on his wife and his family with himself and his career. Honestly, he could've been more like Kobe. Did what he could to work on his marriage and spend more time with his children. Kobe and Vanessa were also fond divorcee, but they worked everything out and then the year he retired, they had a 3rd daughter then in 2019 a 4th daughter. It's really sad that he passed like he did, him and his second oldest Gigi.
Both are in the wrong with how they handled it in my book! He had a lot of fault and things to improve and he didn't keep to his word with retirement. He made some selfish decisions with his career moves for sure. However, I would also say, the same rule applies here as it does with Arianna Grande. If Giselle is more than financially capable of supporting herself so why didn't she just leave? If she was so dissatisfied with her marriage that she felt the need to be unfaithful, then she should have left earlier on. If she saw the signs it wouldn't work, she should have made the move to divorce him as soon as she felt the need to seek affection from another man. Brady made some selfish choices, but infidelity is also not okay and is also selfish on Giselle's part. And the man she cheated with knew she was married too, so he's also in the wrong.

As someone who was a huge Ariana Grande fan growing up, let give my opinion. Yes,the onus for cheating does lay with the cheater but it's also the job of the other person to not knowingly go after married men. I don't care what excuses people try to make for her, she has a history of going after guys in relationships and with how everything lines up, I don't think that marriage was going to break up anytime soon until Ariana got into the mix.
