finally a fucking reviewer who actually turn it on what a legend
Yeah, had to see what it looks like and test temps. Thanks
Thank you for the thorough demonstration of how to install and configure this cooler! You've helped me better understand what to expect in terms of RAM clearance with the fans attached.
You're very welcome, glad it helped you out. Happy New Year!
Thank you for this! I love how you went over everything.🤙
You're very welcome. Thanks
I’ve been buying parts little by little and will use your vids as inspiration
Yeah that's what I do, I look for sales and over time get my parts then build the system. I like CPU Cooler a lot. I have a system that is running at 45c on idle, so it needs an upgrade soon. Thanks
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM nice I want mine to be good at editing and not slow down with 4K and if I can get a better graphics card then I’ll do it
This video was a great help thanks to the 1 screw going in first to hold the back plate in trick @7:21 thanks!
Glad it was able to help you out. Thanks
That was great. I'm so glad I was able to make your premiere
Yeah, I appreciate you coming by. Thanks very much.
I like the way the whole inside of the white cabinet seems to change color when you change the lighting color.
Yeah, I used MSI Mystic Light to make everything work together for changing the colors. Wish I could get a deeper color though.
as a first time builder, these fans and their wires were a nightmare, ty for this
Glad it was helpful. Happy Holidays.
Thank you for posting this video. You have a new subscriber. Keep up the great 👍 work.
Appreciate the support. Thanks very much!
Thank you! I was here for the lighting issue.
I purchased this same cooler and this was nice info to know!
It came well recommended, and seemed to have the most exposed cooling fins of most coolers. Some rad fins were actually encased in cosmetic shrouding. Encasing heat seems odd to me.
I'm skeptical however about a painted cooler. Paints can be known to work as an insulator and hold heat in our out.
I purchased the unpainted variant.
I did rotate my cooler to match up in height with the back 120mm chassis fan, to blow into it from the outside.
If done in this fashion, than the ram height and clearance is a non issue. But the fans are on the back side of the cooler and the lighting isn't as visible. There are plenty of fans out there that are made entirely of clear plastic for better lighting. But no we're just getting picky. Function over form.
Figured out the lighting by reading the mobo manual more. Found these plugs referred to as "addressable generation 2 headers". Never heard of that before, and the terminology doesn't help with clarity. But those headers do match the voltage specs of the fans leds, and are described as the proper plug for RGB control.
I hope this helps answer a lot of those questions I see in the comments.
Appreciate you providing this info. Thanks
Good Job Uncle, Keep up the good content
Thank you, I will.
Hey dennis, great video cleared most of my doubts, even though i have one left, would it work badly or different if i place the first fan in the back? like leaving the ram clear
I think the fan in the back would be ok, I almost did that actually for the same reason. Not sure how much difference it'd make with temps but I don't think it'll make much difference.
Thank you ❤ nice review
Thanks for watching!
looks a good kit to upgrade your cpu cooling mate good setup instructions Dennis
*hit the like for you👍Au🦘💯always a full watch👀*
Yeah, I have a couple other PCs that could use an upgrade from the Stock Cooler as well. So more similar videos in the future it seems. Thanks
can i daisy chain these two coolers and use just one 5v 3pin argb header on motherboard? and i also quite not understand how did you plug fans into the splitter, it looks like one header has 3pin, not 4 that is usually used for pwm.
Hi, the Hub has both Fan and ARGB Headers so I was able to use it, but yes it turns out you can daisy chain the cables. You will need at least one 5V ARGB 3 Pin Header on the Motherboard though. Thanks
Great video! Just to confirm, I can just connect the ARGB cables into the ARGB/Fan Hub that is already in my case (in this case the Lian Li Lancool 216) instead of connecting it to the ARGB header on my motherboard?
Yes, if you have an ARGB/Fan Hub it will work. Make sure the ARGB/Fan Hub is being powered by SATA Power from the Power Supply though.
The squarish plastic boxes on the fan cables pull off and reveal their purpose, they are connectors so you can use 1 MB led connection for both fans
I did try but maybe I pulled from to high up, thanks going to try it again tonight and hopefully it'll come off, if so I'll do a follow up in the next video. Appreciate the info, it did seem strange it wouldn't come off. Thanks again.
GREAT VIDEO! I literally just got my 5800X3D and peerless assassin and was worried it may not be enough to cool it. Any updates after these few months? How’s it holding up during gaming?
Its working great, temps are good and almost silent. I'd buy it again.
I have the same cooler but not the white version , had it for awhile now and love it
Yeah I like it as well, and happy at how low the temps are. Thanks
Hey, my fans are the same direction(intake exhaust) as yours, but instead of putting that fan on the ram sticks I put it in the back on the mobo brick. I run a 7800x3d and had no problem with cooling with that setup. Do you recommend placing the fan like yours or is it ok if I keep it like it is? I'm asking because maybe the right side of the heatsink doesn't get enough cooling that way? because it only gets that air pulled from it and doesn't get air blown on it?
Doing it the way you have should be just fine.
What was rhe frequency of the CPU on AIDA64 benchmark? Was it at stock settings 3.4ghz or was it on boost clock to 4.5hz or overclocked higher?
All stock settings.
you gave me two tricks to use when installing a cpu heatsink thanks
Happy to help, have a great day!
Great video thanks!
You're very welcome. Glad you liked it. Thanks
It looks well protected in all that packing.
Yeah it is for sure.
I have the same issue with it covering the ram, did you install the fan to completely cover the 1st stick? Will that cause any issues for either the ram or the fan? Why did you choose to install the fan on the ram side rather than the other side? Thanks
Hi, yeah it did sit on the side of the Ram and since I was only using the 2 and 4 slots it fit, it was just above slot 1 but not touching, if it had I could have adjusted the fan up but it'd have looked a little off. I chose to put it in the front only because that's what most others were doing, but I could have put it in the back and pulled the air toward the rear exhaust fan but liked it in the front better. I think it would perform better pushing the air into the CPU Cooler but never tested it the other way so not certain on that. Since it isn't touching the ram slot it won't cause any issue. Hope that answers your questions.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM It looks like its touching the ram stick in the 2nd slot, is it actually above? So if its above and not touching there should be no issue with the ram stick under the fan?
Yeah its touching but just barely, not putting any pressure on the ram stick though. So if it was adding a bit of pressure to the ram stick it could potentially cause an issue, but it would need to be more then it is now. If its above or like mine just barely touching it will work fine. No issue with the ram stick at all. Thanks
hi this might seems like a late comment but do u think its necesserly to connect the RGB cabels ? since I'm using a b450 plus gaming motherboard and I don't think there is a 3pin rgb port for the CPU fans, can I just plug the CPU_Fan cable and call it a day?. Thanks :D
Yes, you can use it without the RGB cable plugged in and it'll work great.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM alright thanks for the reply ❤️
Great video!
I have a question, currently i am using kingston fury ram ddr5 with height around 42.23mm (from kingston datasheet). so it looks like i need to shift the ram up a lot?
thanks!
Yes, but the fan can be adjusted upwards to make more room as well. Thanks
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM i feel like if i buy this, rgb on my ram will be useless haha
Yeah I understand, it kinda hides the RGB Colors.
I was going nuts with the ARGB thing. With my water coolers, many of which are also made by ThermalRight, they have little protective caps that you pry off with your finger nails or a tool and you can daisy chain everything ARGB without needing a splitter. The same is true here, and its even easier, horrid instructions. I was literally about to use my teeth to try to open this thing. I feel dumb. You just pull the cap off from the bottom. Comes right off. Apparently some instruction manuals are better than others. Mine makes no mention of this at all. Others have much clearer tutorials in their manuals. Still ThermalRight should really put this on their website. I'm just glad I figured this out as I was about to send half a dozen units back this afternoon. Now I am rethinking. Class video once again mate. Just commenting because I have to believe someone else will run into this. Cheers.
Great. Thanks
How, for the love of god, did you get the 5800X3D on 33°C with a stock cooler??? oO
Are you living far in the north and have low temps in your room?
I undervolted mine, have the PA120 installed and get 40°C in idle at about 20-23°C room temp.
and here i am with a 7800XD at 50° with same air cooler... wtf is wrong?
I didn't do anything specific, just normal install with the CPU Cooler. Wish I could provide more. Thanks
Do you think I can use the RGB hub that came with my corsair sp120 rgb elite fans?
I don't know for sure as Corsair makes their connectors proprietary, but if they'd go in it might work.
Great video.
Is it necessary to have an RGB hub, I have fans with chain-controllable RGB, can't these also be connected to that sequence?
No, you don't need a Hub, as long as you have a RGB or ARGB Header on your MB that will work. If you have the ability to daisy chain that will work also as long as they connect properly it'll work.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM If it worked correctly, thank you.
Yes, daisy chaining it would still work correctly.
Key missing point: "what was maximum temperature with previous cooler?" not just on idle.
It was 83c forgot to show it. Sorry about that. Thanks
God of value air coolers right there
I do like them, a lot less maintenance. Thanks
So I bought the Peerless Assassin 120SE White to cool my 5600x and I got idle temps of 48c to 56c do I have to messwith the fan curve temp and speed in the bios? I mean he have a stronger cpu and its running idle at 24c...
You shouldn't have to make any changes, make sure you haven't put on to much thermal paste and there wasn't anything between the cooler and CPU, ie was plastic left on the CPU Cooler, not that you did but just in case. Hope that helps some. You could also try changing the fan curves I just don't think it'll make much difference.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM It is so strange I do believe I did 1 to 1 with your video. I made all default on my bios and nothing changed. Same with the stock cooler when I saw your temps with the stock I was like what the hell because I was on idle 55c to 65c with my stock cooler XD So the only one never gave me trouble was the Corsair H100i Elite sitting at 23c to 29c Idle (but had to remove after 3 years pump got noisy).
I do seem to do something that results in lower temps, just not sure what it is I do different then others. Once I do I'll let everyone know. Wish I had more to offer though. I used the H100i for quite a few years as well. Have a great day.
did you install the fans backwards maybe? Other than that maybe your motherboard is faulty and the vrms are overheating . No one else seems to be having your problem , especially 50 degrees on idle...
Would this fit onto a matx board ? Seems like it would block rams. What rams do you use ı might get them since they fit
The Ram is an issue, I had to raise the fan on the CPU Cooler up just enough to clear the ram. It was fairly tall so raising it means pretty much any ram will work with some adjustment to the fan height. Hope that helps, don't remember the ram I used at the moment. Thanks
Very decent cooler. I’ve got one it keeps my 12600kf down to about 62 in cinebench at stock settings. Sounds like it may be time to overclock a little?
In my opinion their thermal paste isn’t what I prefer to use. Personally I recommend Arctic mx4.
Yeah I use Noctua normally. Gotta try Arctic mx4 sometime. Thanks
I can’t speak about noctua paste as I’ve not used it. One thing I do like about mx4, according to their website it’s not electrically conductive, but it seems to spread out evenly. I like to use the spread method before mounting the cooler and it seems to do well in that regard.
I did try the Thermalright stock paste and wasn’t happy. It seemed runny to me. But the cooler itself I’m very pleased with.
Yeah, I had started with spreading the paste but forgot this time. Even have some little spatula type spreaders to do it with. Glad you like the cooler though.
QUESTION Is it possible to switch the fan that goes over the rams to the other SIDE of the radiator (the back of the case), pointing the same way? I have ARGB rams and it's kinda bunny that it blocks them and also offsetting the fan is not looking as good. Great video BTW I followed all steps 🤜🤛
Yes, you can put the fan on the other side.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thank you so much for replying!
I just gonna say: finally and thank you so much
Thank You! Have an incredible day.
is it possible to use this air cooler with 4 memories in a B550m ds3h ? because i think it wont get space enought
If you mean 4 Ram Sticks, Yes. You'll need to adjust the fan height though.
thxs@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
Hello thx for the great video. May ı ask one question? I have h610m k ddr4 mainboard on a mid tower case. Can ı add this cooler to my mainboard?
As long as your case has the CPU Height requirements needed then it will work. Keep in mind if you need to raise up the fan any as that will affect space requirements as well.
How do you adjust the color? My board isn’t compatible with the cooler
Unfortunately the software from most Motherboards depend on the connectors such as RGB and ARGB, if you don't have ARGB or a Fan/ARGB Hub there's no way I know of to do it otherwise.
I'm actually looking for this cooler for my 5600,
room temp where I live is 30-32 so the noise from stock cooler sometime get annoying
This is still running on the system and its very quiet, so should work well for you.
The fan splitter things are 4 pins and 3 pins not both 4 pins? Is that normal
It is usually the same as the device, ie if its a ARGB CPU Cooler the connector would be 3 Pin, but sometimes they include both in case others want to daisy chain and include some RGB Fans as well.
What software do I use to change colors?
It works with the MB Manufacturer's Software, ie Mystic Light if MSI, hope that helps.
This is my first time!! Nobody tells me if I need certain types of screwdrivers, also it looks like cyberpower cable tied my stock cooler wire behind the MoBo onto another cable?
Well I hope this helped you out, but if not ask away and I'll help as much as I can. Thanks
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thanks soo much , I went and got stuff for cable management and a pc repair kit!
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPMI got the stock cooler off , I just unplugged it and wrapped it back up.. now I’m stuck trying decide how much thermal plaste to use lol
I did a few Build videos and there are chapters where I put on the thermal paste, it might help.
Is it cooler if there is a fan at the rear or is it ok if the fan is removed?
It's ok if the fan is removed, it does help to pull the air out the back of the case but can't say just how effective it is. I think it will only make a small difference.
It is a very clean setting. I like this. My latest PC is a total mess compared with this one. Regarding this cooler...it is sensitive to vibrations? Or a hit to the desk? My PC is on the desk (do not ask me why :)), and every time I hit the desk, the PC froze and shut down. I try all. Even rebuild it. All components are snug but I suspect that big coolers can sometimes have this issue.
This CPU Cooler is surprisingly very light, expected it to be heavy like some others I've used but its much lighter. I actually bumped the case a couple times while it was running and it ran fine. Thanks
When I worked for GM the official repair manuals referred to this as the "TAP test" for electrical components.
Yeah, I have two monitors on my work laptop and every time the desk is hit everything switches to just one monitor. Can't figure out why.
could i install this withe right fan a bit off position so it doesn't touch the ram ? will the cooling performance be affected ?
Yes, I had to offset my fan because of the Ram and its working fine and temps are good, been running it for some time now. It doesn't affect the temps as far as I've been able to tell. Thanks
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thanks. I’m hesitating between this and an aio frozen prism 240 for my 7800x3d. For gaming at 4k
Yeah I haven't tried the prism products but that would work great for the 7800X3D.
What hub did you use for the fans?
I don't remember which one it was, sorry.
Nice
How much memory is in that computer ?
Keith
Hey Keith, this one has 16GB atm, might update it to 32GB since its so cheap lately. Thanks

U. The man. Dennis
what adapter do we need for the CPU cooler fan for the RGB?
It comes with the ability to daisy chain, didn't realize until later. So you only need a ARGB Header on the Motherboard.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM So I put my pc together but have the extra wires coming out of each fan that has two ends one that is a dummy and another one that is a female. Do I connect the female end to the mother board for the rgb to work

How about using only the middle fan or using the second one the back?
Not saying you can't just go with the middle fan, just not sure how well it would perform temperature wise. I would suggest the middle and the other fan front or back as desired.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I got the cooler today. I am using only the middle fan and still my temps are already 10-20 lower than stock cooler. On full load cpu only went upto to around 60. Although I am only using it for R5 5600, still cooler and quieter than stock
Awesome.
Would you say that a pull pull fan configuration would be any worse than the push push fan configuration you used?
I'm no fan expert, just things I've always done. The way I've done it has seemed to work, but there's nothing saying doing it a different way is wrong.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thanks for the reply, I was just wondering as I'm considering a pull pull configuration for better ram accessibility as you pointed out in the video. I will give it a shot :D have a nice day
That is a good question. I'ma do some research on that. I'm curious now.
However on this particular cooler, the fans have rubber pads on them that are to be positioned against the cooler fins. So these are setup to be a push system.
I suppose one could try and peel the pads off the fans and move them to the other side.
What I don't understand is why pull heat from the middle of the case, and push it thru the cooler?
Why not get cooler air from the outside back of the case, with the 120mm chassis fan directly behind the cooler?
I just installed one of these today and its how I'm setup.
Once the air passes thru the cooler, its pulled straight up with an exhaust fan out the top.
Something else to consider on a pull pull system is that by the time the air has passed thru the entire cooler, that second fan has the warmest air from the whole cooler flowing thru it, and may lead to premature fan failure.
I'm no expert either, but as an auto mechanic...
Heat kills, especially electric motors.
Honestly though, in 2 decades I have only had 2 fans fail in a pc, and one of those PC's was operable for 18 years. It recently quit posting.
And some of those fans were pretty cheap.
Nice it lasted so long.
What kind of RGB Hub are you using? (Name?)
It came with the Case, its an Armoury C802W White Case.
what is the power usage on the assassin cooler?
CPU Cooler TDP is 120 to 265W
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thank you
Is compatible with am5? Because nothing is written in the installation guide
Yes, on Amazon and a couple other places it says compatible with AM4/AM5. Thanks
AM5 is compatible with AM4 for all coolers, we can praise AMD, they did not change the distance between the screws, unlike Intel
Yeah they did things right. Nice to see some companies value the consumer.
@@riderm.d.1461 that's false. Hardware canucks did an excellent video showing that many AM4 coolers can't be mounted on AM5 motherboards because AM5 motherboards don't have removable backplates. Where did you get that info that all AM4 coolers can be installed on AM5?
What if I dont have low profile ram? Then what? Also what rgb hub is that?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
The RGB Hub comes with the NZXT Case. If you don't have low profile Ram you can raise the fans up enough to clear them.
That plug that you mentioned didnt come off is a pass thru, the end of the plug should come out and you can plug one to the other
Yeah I was a bit slow to realize that, appreciate your letting me know. Appreciate it, Thanks.
you mean the RGB fan ones?
Yes, daisy chain the RGB Fans.
So I could connect both fans to the same RGB connector on the motherboard and then connect a third fan or fourth fan (attached to the case to exhaust air) to that same ARGB signal?
@@Angel-em6od most fans can do 3 to the same header without a hub, some can do 4. Check the website or manual they come with
Pa 120 se rgb allow to daisy chain with the fans given. Each fan will come with two cables connected to itself (4 pin cable and 3 pin cable). On the 3 pin cable, you will see have male and female (one of them will be closed with a cap so make sure you open it). Then you simply daisy chain to the other.

Yeah that looks good carrying on the white theme in that computer.

How do you change de color of the heatsink ?
You can use the included software from the Motherboard Manufacturer, ie RGB Fusion, Aura, or whatever MB you have. Or you could get the Signal RGB Software that a lot of people seem to like.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
Thanks friend for this answer, in the meantime I've found it, I had to update the motherboard control software and now I can change the colors, otherwise it was stuck on yellow.
Glad it worked out for you.
You put it on the wrong way. You have the longer top-side facing the gpu
Thanks
I immediately noticed this as well. THe idea is to have bigger gpu clearance so lower heat accumulation in that area. It'll still work but that is the point of the offset design. He got away with it because the cooler isn't that wide. On bigger/wider ones, he'd have to have the offset the right way or no clearance at all.
You got the mounting direction wrong for the Ryzen. The boxes on the Cooler indicate the direction. Accoring to the Manual: For ryzen the 2 Squares have to point to the Ram, and the rectangle should point "away" from the Ram. The way you mounted it is for the Intel-CPUs. That is why you have so little space between the GPU.
Okay. Thanks appreciate the info. I'll change it around.
Değiştirecektim ama sonradan fark etmeyeceğini fark ettim.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPMcould you please elaborate why not. I just got my pc from a custom builder, and the first thing i noticed was they mounted the cooler the wrong way around. I put mine on the right away, and there’s still very little clearance. It’s just a big cooler.
No the mount is fine. The cooler is just huge
Anyone replaced the fans with arctic ones?
I haven't but would be interested in knowing if anyone has. thanks
Do you think with the weight of this cooler which is more than 1kg I guess can it break the motherboard?

@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thank you. How do you clean the cooler? Is it ok to remove the fans, and use a blower to remove the dust? As well as to clean the cooler fins, just use a blower?
For cleaning fans, you can take a few steps, I use a duster that blows air across the fans to get rid of loose dust. Afterwards if you want to go more in depth you can wipe the fans using a micro fiber cloth, some add water or isopropanol solution to wipe them down.
Thank you for the information. I'll try to do this on my CPU fans.@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM

You may need to update the MSI Software, but Mystic Light should be able to control it. However if it just doesn't work there is freeware software called signal RGB that will work with all RGB Devices.

I'm not sure if Gamers Nexus had this exact model, but both sides are designed the same no extra cut for higher memory at all. Both sides are exactly the same, I've gone back and checked it out.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks
Whelp, I guess I’m not getting rgb on mine then lol. I already bought it so I’m just gonna tuck the wires away somewhere
You could buy a ARGB Hub, as long as your MB has the ARGB on it.
I just bought the thermalright assassin king and installed it, really good cooler for the price (£15 for the ARB one!) even includes thermal paste.
My motherboard has 2 argb headers, one at the top and one at the bottom but I just daisy chained the one at the top where my case fans are connected since it made for tidier cable management it would have been a pain to route it to the bottom one, that's if it would even reach!
Sounds good, yeah they make some great CPU Coolers. Thanks
You mounted it upside down it needs to be reversed the longer heatpipes must be on top😉 i have it on my Ryzen 5700x
Will do. Thanks
Be nice if you showed the cpu wattage during that test.
Never thought of doing that, I'll try to include it in future videos though. I can check it though if your still interested. I still have this system.
Yes please. It would be interesting to know if the stress test maxed out the CPU's wattage. I'm using AIDA64 Extreme v6..85.6300 and in the System Stability Test you can check all voltages, temps, fans, clocks, wattages and utilization in the Statistics tab. They all can be added or removed using the Preferences tab.@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
Also a proper CPU stress test with AIDA would be choosing the "stress FPU" option only. Remove the check marks for all others. In your test you had 4 items checked.
"AIDA64 With Just FPU
The extreme FPU load results in very high package and CPU socket temperatures, yielding the highest core reading possible from our suite. Consequently, this test works well for determining the limits of potent cooling solutions. If throttling is ever going to be a problem for you, it should become apparent using AIDA64's FPU test."
I did the Stability Stress Test in today's video, never thought to use it for the other things though but will from now on. Thanks

@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM gracias lo amo buen dia
Que tengas un buen día también.
Isn't that upside down? This cooler is asymmetrical, and it looks like you put the wider side down, covering the M2 slot.
No, it only goes on one way, you could turn it around but its the same thing either way. The fan placement can be different though, but this how most are doing it. Thanks
forgot to show stock cooler temperature under load
Your right, I'll see if I can get one soon for that. Thanks

in prime95 i got 75 under load , minus 14 degree ! very good
the system is a ryzen5 1600AF overclocked to 3925mhz
Sounds great. Thanks
I'll be back in 64 min my friend.
Awesome.
Can you turn off the RGB from the cooler?
You likely can do it through the software, but if not you can just not plug in the ARGB Cable and it'll still work just no RGB colors. So yes its possible. Hope that helps.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thank you !
So damn ridiculous it doesn't come with an ARGB splitter. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, just a simple, cheap split. This is not exactly an expensive cooler, but it's not cheap either. Many other alternatives that give almost identical performance for $10 less and don't force tweaking due to RAM clearance issues.
True, it does have some issue's but it works great though.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Oh I just learned something. The fan cables looked so weird. It turns out the cable has both a male and female plug. The male has a cap on it that you literally need a knife to pry off. The instructions are so appallingly bad I did not realize this initially. So you can in effect chain two fans 3 pin ARGB cables together and only need a single header to power both fans lighting. Thanks to Amazon answers for that one. Why on earth could they not display that in the instructions? No idea. But yes, no need for a splitter, only need one header. But like you, my case (Montech Air 903, $65, what an amazing bargain for what you get) came with a pwm controller hub with 6 power and 6 RGB headers. Plus my Mobo has 5 system headers and an additional to ARGB headers. So not a big deal really. But glad I asked Amazon. LoL, early say that
BTW, great video sir
It is in the instructions, it's written on the last page under the wiring diagram.
@@PizzaDaPasta Sorry. I am an idiot, but it appears that two different sets of directions went out. The one I have is completely unclear. And I just realized from watching a TIkToc video (first time I have ever watched one but I was desperate) and it shows how easy it is to take off the cap, you pull from the bottom and it comes off easy. I was prying from the top, which is usually where they cap protectors are on my watercoolers. I feel anger, frustration, stupidity, ignorance, and joy all at the same time. Odd sensation.
All a learning experience. Thanks
Не будет ли он мешать моему RAM в asus rog strix z690-a, ram: g.skill trident z
It will be good but you might have to adjust the fan a little, just ensure your case has room if the fan has to be lifted up a little. Thanks
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thx
I want to use this cooler with the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo and I’m worried about RAM clearance now 🥲
The fans are easily moved up if needed, so it will work with them.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I want 100% clearance though. Im not a fan of cooler fans hanging over the top of ram and I don’t want to move the front fan to the back as I want the argb fan to show. I need a single tower cooler and I was thinking of the Deepcool AK500 and I’ll use it with a push pull config. You think that will be enough to cool a 7800x3D?
Haven't used that CPU Cooler, so can't say. For the 7800X3D I'd go with an AIO.
