    I think the reason he chose Bumblebee was because it already sounds like it’s just buzzing, so it be the hardest to hear the difference for non musicians.

    • @KD-oc3xx
      @KD-oc3xx Před 4 lety +330

      Very true. I would like to hear him play some classical pieces and see if he actually knows how to do it. Take Picasso for example. He was actually an amazing artist before he came up with his abstract painting. I mean he could draw people's actual portraits. One needs to be good at a skill before they can build on it. Otherwise you get this mess that this kiddo just played.

      @@KD-oc3xx you can just not compare Piccaso with this guy!! Maybe he can play classical pieces too but what he does with the Bumblebee its a joke and a very bad example to younger violinists who now think the fastest you play the better. Korsakov didnt intend that his piece sounds like this.....a good composer expects that the notes he writes can be heard....

      @@gabrielahumada7232 Kim Tanner appears to agree with you... as do I. We all think that this guy was very messy. Not a personal fan of most of Picasso's work, but I can still see he has talent and he came from talent. This guy... I'm no violinist, and it's easy to catch mistakes on my instrument (piano), but the difference in quality is very obvious to me. On the Guinness video, the pinned comment even says that "the record has been rested", which makes any future attempts to beat it -- including this disastrous mess -- impossible.

      I learned some very intricate pieces on the piano using Suzuki method, it sounds beautiful and it has trained my ear quite well, as it's my only tool to mimic what the composer intended. The drawback? I CANT SIGHT READ FOR SHIT. Like yeah sure I can match a few simple chords by ear, but PEOPLE WHO CAN SIGHT READ CAN ALSO DO THAT. anyway, been practicing sight reading lately, but my fingers memorize pieces faster than my brain does and then I stop sight reading :(

    • @MissTwoSetEncyclopedia
      @MissTwoSetEncyclopedia Před 5 měsíci +7

      The Suzuki method is actually great for children, it's an approach where you learn music the same way you learn your mother tongue. Brett and Eddy themselves started violin as kids through the Suzuki method.
      The thing is that you don't stop there. Once you learned how to speak, you go to school to learn to read and write, grammar, spelling, etc.
      It's the same way in music. Once the child is old enough, s/he learns how to read sheet music and takes more formal lessons to deepen his/her understanding of music.

    About the "if you can do it slow, you can do it fast" it's actually pretty good advice. But for learning a piece. If you can play it accurately at half tempo, then you can at full tempo, it'll just take some time of course. I disagree with the going faster than needed though.

      Example, i just got a new piece for my drum line, i failed horribly trying to play it fast. But when I got home and took it slow, i could do it. Then I gradually took it quicker, cause I know how to play it, i just need to play it faster and on tempo.

    I am new to learning violin. The one most impotent thing that I like about Two Set is there integrity when it come to classical music and violin. Its nice to have people like Two Set Violin to keep you on tract .

    Two set violin: you can get a very AFFORDABLE violin in your local shop.
    Me who live in LATAM: I don't think so
