The edits to the skin bible seem to serve a few things:
1. Position AlllMer as on same level as an Old God
2. Absolve humanity of the guilt of destroying the nature god (“humans are supposed reap from nature”)
3. Destroy its true name from history, and as basically none would understand the meaning of the new name, none would remember why that name was given.
The “editors” don’t want humanity to understand the crime it committed (why? Continuing destruction suits them? Helps Alllmer/The Sulfur God somehow?), and wants to put alllmer on a pedestal.

im pretty sure that logic is built with or on the corpse of vinushka. Thats how logic "ascended". Just like how the girl used the corpse of the depths. Im pretty sure this is canon
That tracks and explains why the god was added for this game as well as why the iki turso and the owl mask cult are present in Prehevil and why the town was really chosen for the site of Logic. Maybe the pulsating masses are the same as the ones in the first game except it's Vinushka's this time.
