pretty sure you need specifically the blank soul to be taken over by pocketcat cuz if you ask me levi had a way worse life ( and he a tweaker )
Would make a lot of sense too, since the blank soul can be moulded into anything.
Also make me question if Rhea cult specifically aimed for Daan to become the next Pocketcat because it was hinted that the duke was a Sylvian worshipper. Maybe knowing Daan has the blank soul, the cult tried to brainwash the duke to kill himself and his daughter so Daan’s mind would break
I like to imagine that pocket cat is a well defined gentleman that doesn’t hide his depravity to anyone and always makes his intentions clear on what he wants and it makes me feel like he’s based on that cat from Alice in Wonderland.🐱

i think the artist types pocketcat talks about are the types of gods themselves. the extroverted artists see something wrong in the world and put these observations in their art, they react to the world just like the people who tried or succeeded in becoming new gods, as in "well this world is rotten? i'll become a god and fix it myself". for the other two types, i'm not so sure which type would be which. i can see how the introverted artist could be a metaphor for the old gods, as they did create the world according to their own internal designs and will. and the comment about "just wishing for someone someday to understand them"? that screams sylvian trying to create a being capable of loving her back the way she loved them. following this categorization, ascended gods could be seen as the chaotic artist, as we have seen in the lore, anytime an ascended god shows up, there is a DRASTIC change in the world's status quo, like an abella wrench throw to the engine.
HOWEVER, as i see it with my limited lore enthusiast glasses, it may be plausible as well to fit the old and ascended gods, respectively, as the chaotic and introverted artists.
for the introverted artist, even if the ascended gods usually represent chaos to the current world order, the process of ascension itself is very complicated and meticulously planned by the many parts involved, to a point where many of us are to this day not even sure how it works (i sure am confused 👁👄👁). moreover, the same wish to be understood may be applied here, as after all wasn't alll-mer made to be so that finally there was a god who, for being a human ascended to true godgood, could be a bridge between gods and mortals, allowing them to better understand each other? (i actually don't remember where i saw this lol if you think i made this up please correct me)
and as for the old gods as chaotic artists, i don't have any AHA arguments except the general feeling, from what i know of their lore, that like these dudes just did... whatever. they kept existing creating destroying seeing what sticked, and if it sticked just destroy it again to rebuild something similar/better lmao.
but it may come down to what logic is exactly. from which answer you give pocketcat as to which type you think she is, he'll vaguely give his two cents on the matter. if you say she is an extrovert he'll be like "yeah i can see that but who am i to judge", if you say she is an introvert, he'll be like "RIGHT? it feels like that sometimes", and if you say she is the chaotic type he'll comment that he let his bias influence you, but he thinks you may be right. so perhaps pocketcat thinks logic fits into the third type, but he's unsure himself and seems to consider she may be the second type of artist. so i interpret that his uncertainty represent that, either: pocketcat doesn't know (or can't say) if logic is akin to an ascended, or an artificial old god; OR that the artist metaphor doesn't actually reflect the categories of gods (new, old and ascended) but the gods individually, so like gro'goroth could be a chaotic artist, and sylvian an introverted one, françois an extrovert, as well as alll-mer himself who knows. and if so, our boy pocketcat simply still doesn't know logic's game, independently of what kind of god she is.
ANYWAY sorry for rambling letting the mind wander and mouth slander like this, i've just been having a lot of fun with the lore :B

Also, about his wierd artist types stunlock: I vaguely believe that it is related somehow methaphorically to ascended gods and Le'Garde.
The hint being that during this dialogue, Pocketcat states that Logic (referred to as "the girl beneath our feets or smth like that, for Logic actually IS beneath the museum) is a 3rd type artist. As the little girl is: both of them become gods, but they are not intentionnal, and their involvment in ascention to godhood (as artists leave their mark on the history) is no personally motivated, nor selfish, nor event totally conscious. In opposition to Le'Garde, who sorta went 1st artist type back when he was full Griffith mode with influence on his troops and megalomaniacal complex. And we can consider, also, that as the Kaiser, he behaves more like a 2nd artist type. Yes, he stays in the shadows and leave the ascention spotlight to someone else, but still he never question his own beliefs and conclusions. A bit like the 2nd artist, who is depicted as less brash, but self-centered.
It makes sense to me also that Pocketcat, with his connection to Rher, would despise the firsts two types, for all thier vanity is tied to humanity, and tied to vain efforts to reach godhood. On the contrary, an artist that let the art happen, and accept being a vessel for it can be considered like a more pure relation to art/godhood. Like, the little girl became God of Fear and Huger because the was an embodiement of these concepts. A vessel.
It is vague, it is incomplete, maybe it is bullshit, but all thisdoesn't seem that far-fetched to me.

Pocketcat's whole thing is that he's a guide to the FnH's subtext of society's change. The change is largely viewed through the lense of ascended gods with Alll-mer being the first type. He violently took action and tried to establish the society we know in FnH. GOFAH is the second type, since the change she brought isn't direct. She did not just unleash the cruel age on humanity, but made them recognize that age as such.
And you kinda missed that part where it turns out that this whole spiel was about Logic. That the third type is her. She is culture, second nature, the world of simulacrums. Something that embodies the movement of the collective (un)conscious. The same movement that drives the third type.
Also the inbattle talk about the stories morphing over time comes hand-in-hand with the drastic difference of the "Tales of the Pocketcat" books in termina.
11:00 i think pcat refrences the third type because miro is that type of artist, which is also why he preferes to work alone, because of how chaotic his art process is

@@Pugsr Part of me thinks that he's partially made to be a tumblr sexyman, but is also to be so disturbing, that fans reevaluate themselves for fawning over actual monsterous killers (such as Dharmer)

In regards to pocket cat talking about type of artists I think it’s an analogy to how we as people live life. There are people who see issues with the world and want to be the change. There are those who believe by becoming the best version of themselves they can make a change. And lastly there are those who “go with the flow”. None of these are a wrong or right way to life. No different than art. “Life imitates art” or the old saying goes
I like to think that when he talks about art, he’s talking about soul types to Daan. After all he is the blank soul. Perfect for a continuous “painter” such as PocketCat to take hold over. Even in the moonscorched. Then again I could be applying something that isn’t there. After all, if we contribute to the Funger discourse, is it truly ever finished?

So about when Pocketcat talks about art/artist in the museum. The painting behind him is Guernica by Pablo Picasso, and I think what Pocketcat is talking about is having artists using art as some sort of statement. In this case the painting can be depicted either as the reminders of war, or an anti-war symbol. I don't know much about F&H Termina, but I assume that most of the contestants are there from the horrors of their reality. Add the Sulfur and Moon gods, it shows that some artists/people use art to express themselves, like the different kinds of artists. But the third one feels more interchangable like, letting the problems in their life take over themselves. Maybe the third one is similar in moonschorching?
Pocket cat is a super natural being alined with ( Not beholdent too) Rher. He goes from body to body taking advantage and manipulating hosts with the blank soul(?) which allows him to take control easier. He seems incredibly prvy to what's going on around him although how he knows is never explicitly stated
It just dawned on me that Daan trying to be a "degenerate" furry was just a way for him to try to connect with his parents. Something that he probably brought over to his adult life.

My theory on the girl is that all 4 chars S ending in the 1st game is real. She just leave the party after all 4 arrive at the golden throne and go to the gauntlet by herself to become the god of fear and hunger
