Silver's Rayleigh is one of the most Iconic mentors in all of anime. He taught Luffy an entire new power system in Haki, but before any of that, he led a full life on the Roger Pirates, he found the one piece, and settled down. He found everything the world had to offer, but also lost everything he had, but was able to find a group of people to spend his remaining time with and lead a second life.

After Roger left his former pirate crew he and Rayleigh never met again. Roger saying " I won't die partner" brought Rayleigh to tears. In the manga you can even see Rayleigh turn away when the crew is bidding Roger farewell as he couldn't bear to see him leave never to return.
Ray always felt to me like what if you took Zoro and Sanji and combined them into one character
I can kinda see what you're getting at but it also seems so off
The best features of Zoro and Sanji mixed together. Minus the hopeless sense of direction and well, if you watch the show you know lol

@@chuckchuck6047Rayleigh wouldn’t be fighting alone, n we know at that point he was capable of keeping up with an admiral so he’ll be able to handle himself with the whitebeard pirates also watching his back, they got a good enough relationship to watch out for each other

Rayleigh is definitely my favorite old character. Power wise I always defend him in the community 😅.. i Always argued how he wss top 5 in his era by the time Roger died.
The short anime scene where Roger said goodbye and his oldest friend Rayleigh started crying definitely gets me into my feelings 😢.
I feel there's two potential deaths that can beat Whitebeard by epicness. Either Garp or Rayleigh.
Sidenote: I always laugh when I think about how the Marines know where Rayleigh lives but they probably think *Yea I'm good on that* 😅. Akainu and the Marines probably hoping he just dies by alcohol poisoning or something 😂

Idk about that statement where you said Rayleigh could barely hold off Kizaru in his current state. He wasn't trying to beat him just buy time. He was comfortably holding him off which is why the marines dont ever ambush him despite knowing he lives on Sabody

rare for me to be a hater, but this seems like a video with extremely low effort and misleading clickbait. Just watched the first 6-7min, and this just seems like a wikipedia recap of Rayleigh's experiences without anything interesting to add. Just recapping events that took place
Yeah, but seeing all the positive comments i guess thats what this channel does, recap stuff, and i can see the benefit as considering how long op is, people forget stuff. I also had forgotten some of the things mentioned in this video and was a good refresher
