Red Haired Shanks has been at the center of One Piece since chapter 1. He is the entire reason Luffy set off to become the king of the pirates and his influence is felt throughout the entire story even when he isn't present, but when he is, at arc like Marineford, The Reverie, Wano and Egghead, he shakes up the entire story and world. In this video I explain why there will never be another character like him for those reasons and more

They most likely will. Buggy will set up a scenario where Mihawk must do something, of course not on purpose but he's buggy, he doesn't think.

at 6:40 luffy was not random, even if he didnt eat the fruit he still has the craziest family in the show and his dad and dads dad are the two strongest people alive in the show. He would still become crazy strong, just prolly focussing more on haki.

People forget that Luffy loved to swim, and was a good swimmer at a very young age, and one of the reasons he cried after eating the devil fruit was that he could no longer swim. If he had not eaten a devil fruit, his trajectory was TO BE THE NEXT SHANKS. If he was still able to swim, he would ultimately meet Jinbei and learn fishman karate. He would then meet Rayleigh to train Haki, and he would combine the two way better than Jinbei could since Jinbei only has armament, and Jinbei is already a Shichibukai.

I'm sorry but no. A gorosei did not say Shanks was a Figarland. In the non-cannon film red they assumed Uta was a figarland. Implying Shanks would be one too. Nothing is confirmed, it's all implied. It's semantics I know cause it's probably true, but you literally used implied in a sentence after that...

This video is good in reminding me of shanks story through out one piece. But as a video explaining what you put on the title it's a click bait. There will be a character like shanks (not in design although there's gildartz, I mean in effect on the world of the story) in fact there has been characters before him in many stories, and there will always be.
I hope Netflix does a great job with translating all the lore and mystery behind each and every character and the new series coming up in the next season and also not “Disneyfying it“ its too good of manga to destroy

in god valley, the rewards were chests with devil fruits. roger found shanks in a chest on god valley. we don’t know how shanks got into the chest that roger found, but he was definitely in there. him calling shanks the “reward” at god valley is because the item inside the chest was supposed to be the reward (devil fruits). it has not been confirmed that shanks was in one of the reward chests, but its very heavily implied.

@maisamg5mer146 I doubt it he is know for being the strongest haki user and haki improves the more you fight and he's fought Gol D Roger members with whitebeard and his crew like a friendly match multiple times said by whitebeard. So he might have had armorment haki since a kid. And even if he didn't, who did he use conquer haki before he got there to save him an arm.

Crazy the fact that every character in one piece has a very complex story, enough to be a main character. Even shanks, someone we always say barely has screen time, has THIS much story. I cant believe I lived to see this story. Oda is the best mangaka, nothing will change my mind.
