He's hatred and asumed superiority over humans inspired the likes of Hody to killing humans. But Arlong used both Nomi's cartograph talents for conquering on every Blue, and bribed a marine captain Nazumi to not report to marines about anything about his crimes. Wich it serves as a strong argument from what Arlong said about hating humans. Character: greedy, hypocritical liar. Not Married.

I still cant believe that Bon Clay a fictional character is less of a caricature and more grounded than most queer representation in modern media.

Bon Clay is easily in the top 10 of characters who aren't Straw Hats. To go from being a key spark in the war for Alabasta to the *_only_* reason Luffy got to Marineford is a momentous character journey. Taking care of friends - this is the Okama Way.

As a 40 years old guy, Rayleigh is the one I relate to the most. The way he drinks and sheds tears is hitting home like no other character.

I have had a dream where Robin so much justice by someone who started a war between pirates, revs, cp, and the navy. It was a war that surpassed that of Wano and Marineford combined. The character to start such a war, as I said, brought Robin (among plenty of others) so much justice, so much so that he exposed the truth about Ohara, not just verbally via telepathy, but visually due to his devil fruit power. Where people in their dreams saw the destruction of Ohara and Robin as a survivor the way we, the audience saw Robin's past, the whole world knew the world government lied to them. They wanted revenge for what they did to Robin. Thus, a war between compentent fighters from what I stated before, eventually ensued. The character to start such a war... HOLY LORD I WISH HE EXISTED. He stole the show within his debut arc more than Luffy did up until the beginning of such an arc. Keep in mind, I DID say up until the beginning of the arc because my boi, Luffy became *THE PIRATE KING* in that arc. But for a character that I dreamt of to shine in one arc... Oda... For me the saddest thing (I'm only on episode 500) is his sacrifice meant nothing because Ace died anyways. Great storytelling, but god damn was that a punch to the gut. Luffy lost 10 years of his life, and a great ally, but in the end it didn't even matter.

it is very nice to hear someone who actually thought about why akoji joined black beard. it was annoying how most people couldn't even comprehend it when the answer has been there from early on. also yeah Garp being 100% in favor of marine support can be annoying. i like to imagine when he says Marine, he isn't including the World Government side of things (gorosei,celestial dragons,CIpher Poll ect) since to be fair the majority of pirates are in fact evil. ad the marines do help deal with them.

rare for me to be a hater, but this seems like a video with extremely low effort and misleading clickbait. Just watched the first 6-7min, and this just seems like a wikipedia recap of Rayleigh's experiences without anything interesting to add. Just recapping events that took place

I think people get too hang up on back stories. Kaido character has been developed though all the lines he ever said since his introduction. That's how we readers get to understand his character. Kaido ideology fits the idea of the survival of the strongest. In this word you need to be strong and there is no space for weaklings. He wants to start the biggest war so that only the strongest will remain as they are the only ones who deserves to live. His complexity and thinking are shown to us by every single word he says.

Bon-chan is one of my favorite characters in the entire show. The depth to his character is phenomenal. He's hilarious, he's cool, he's just genuinely fun to have on the screen at all times, and he has some of the most memorable moments of the arcs he shows up in. He will always be an honorary Straw Hat in my view. He's done every bit as much to risk his life for Luffy's as any of them have. I will never forget him desperately screaming for Luffy's recovery for half a day straight. Fucking chills. I'll never forget Bon-chan.

Idk about that statement where you said Rayleigh could barely hold off Kizaru in his current state. He wasn't trying to beat him just buy time. He was comfortably holding him off which is why the marines dont ever ambush him despite knowing he lives on Sabody
