Great video! I pack very similar. Being a former Marine, every trip is handled like a military operation. I once said there are two typed of travelers…the ones with straps on their luggage and the ones with wheels on their luggage. Now that I’m 67 I finally bought a great Travelpro carry on bag with wheels. It’s so much easier to get through airports with. I use it together with a small backpack. Having also worked in the airline industry, I also believe that there are only two types of luggage… carry on luggage and lost luggage.
    Keep up the great content.

Ok, found the packing vid... nope, way to light.😂
In hot, humid weather I bring moisture wicking shirts. I like the Greg Norman polo's. The ones with the shark. They work great. Asia has a lot of wicking shirts at a much cheaper price. Bring one pair of khaki long pants one size larger than you normally wear with a travel belt (all plastic, no need to remove at TSA and infinitely adjustable.) for plane rides. More comfort than sweats. Loosen when sitting for hours. Tighten when walking. One long sleeve shirt for cold flights and nice restaurants.

CASH CASH CASH!! - Ok so I go on a trip for a couple of months, don't want to get hammered with ATM fees, e.g. take out $1k its about $40-50 in fees!! So do you use ATM's primarily and just take money out as you go and cop the ATM fees or do you carry cash and if so do you keep any at your hotel? I don't trust the hotel room safes, I am sure the staff have the override code and thieves too so I never use them so sometimes I will lock a bit of cash in my luggage and spare ATM card but carry mostly bulk of cash with me which is risky, I don't like it but I can't see any other choice - What do you do?

  • @tailwind12
    @tailwind12 Před 3 měsíci +2

again Mr travel and go knows what he's speaking about.
If nothing else if you see his mindset easy-going, cool no issues... The thais like that and the Thai women find it attractive.
do not go there and be pushy or arrogant or such.
I lived in this area of Thailand for years...now spending some time in Central America.
If you are from the West laid back cool and respectful it will go beyond measures with the locals the staff and yes the adult Thai women.
A few times I've seen a Westerner yelling at a waitress to get them a drink now...
You do not want to lose "face" in Thailand... Those that have been to Thailand know what that phrase means.
I think this guy is former military and his organization shows in.
I am myself and I served as a US contractor in the Middle East for many years.
If you are traveling like he is or say for 3 to 6 months you should be taking those meds with you.
be stuck somewhere or even a remote beach and have diarrhea or a cut or something. then you wish you brought it with you while sitting on the toilet.. in your hotel.
For me the meds I carry/travel I usually pick up in a country that I like that brand..of medicine the best.
Of course I mean best quality. I take a thyroid medicine and the best form of that I found outside the US is in Peru of a German company.
other than that go to Thailand and try to fight off the girls...and
    their sensuality.
    you will "lose" every time!

Your diet is horrible for someone with cholesterol issues. Also as a person with heart disease that takes an 81 mg aspirin daily. It's now not recommended to take insaids AKA Ibuprofen as it increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Better to use acetaminophen Tylenol. Just thought I would offer up some heart healthy advice. Enjoy.
