I wish this game gets a PS5 patch upgrade to 4K targeted 60fps. However, the PS5 does have a slight improvement on the game, but I don't notice it being 30fps for some reason. I feel like it's roughly at 45fps when it's not; which goes to show that this game has awesome performance.

Definitely see the difference in texture and more crisp and more cleaner graphics. But still gotta admit batman Arkham knight is one of the best looking games on the ps4 you really dont need a ps5 for this game.

Loading time is quicker, fps is slightly better, and lighting on the ps5 has been improved, if you look closely. The differences don't have to be major to be a good thing. I think it looks great on ps5. Especially when Batmans on top of the tower with gordon. The lighting on Batmans face on ps4 is somewhat over-bright in comparison to the lighting on his face on ps5
Just rendering mechanism changed on console level. The game itself has nothing called ‘improved’.

Yeah, it's improved on the ps5. I didn't really notice it in the video because of the youtube compression but it also looked like the game finally has better anti-aliasing. That was my main complaint with the game's graphics because it had a lot of shimmering and rugged edges on the ps4. I guess I'm just spoiled because I played this game later in life while the games I play nowadays have very good anti-aliasing.

On ps 4 you can set the brightness to as low as possible and then glide around the city I don't know if it's just for me or not but IT

You need to run a FPS comparison running version 1.0, no updates. The frame rate on that version of the game was unlocked.

@@blazingpunk8976 that might be due to your gtx 1050, it's an older card possibly causing graphical issues.
Arkham city runs at 4K, 60fps and looks amazing with the auto HDR. It’s basically a remaster of the remaster. Just make sure that you don’t install the update/patch for Arkham city and the game will hit a consistent 60fps pretty smoothly.
You can play Arkham City at 60fps from the disc if you don't update it to 1.01.

Indeed. You can load from the main menu into your save file, in 22 seconds, on a PS5. That's not that much longer than how an actual PS5 remastered version would load it, which would be like 5 seconds or so.

There is no difference other than HDR render there isn’t a nex gen version
because the ps4 pro runs at higher res than the base, which means the ps5 also runs that version

I know it says "30 fps" in the test, but try to boot up the game yourself and have a look. It looks terrible. Lags, stutters, slow motion like looking, unplayable on PS5. Sad, it's such a good game.
Whats the point of this comparison.. PS5 and PS4 pro are basically running the base ps4 version at 30fps.. no difference at all.. I would love this to have a 4k 60fps patch though because this is like pne of the best looking games in the previous gen
6 years later on the pc it runs very smoothly. 1440p @ 90 fps.

I have a 4k UHD tv and sad to say I played this game on my ps5 and then I played it on my base PS4 . The game looked amazing on my PS4 but when I played it on my ps5 the game looked grainy and fussy I though that playing on ps5 the game would have a HDR setting but it doesn't so to play this game on PS5 is definitely not a good idea stick to playing it on PS4, but to answer your question no the game does not work well with 4k TV's sorry that's just the way it is.

Very old, I know. Still a nonsense answer. It's 900p/30 on Series X (or any other Xbox console). You can enable auto Hdr, but it looks kinda dodgy so I turned it off.

Plus, there are some ps4 games that are compatible with the ps5 so you can finally see how the game looks like in 4k and 60 fps with better draw distances, ray tracing, etc. There are going to be a lot of games coming out on the ps5 from now on and eventually, no more games are gonna come out on the older consoles. But if you're waiting for the prices to drop within the next couple years to save money then that's a good choice because there aren't many games out on the new consoles yet. the PS5 and Xbox one Series X are definitely not a waste of money, it's only a waste if you barely play on them.

Dudes, there's no difference between the two. It's a PS4 game playing on the PlayStation 5. If there were differences for the PlayStation 5 version, the game code would have to be updated to be an "enhanced" version, which it is not. The differences that you all see in the PlayStation 5 version are only there because you want them to be there

@@Shinobi33 the game ran at 900p resolution from the launch day on the original Xbox one & it never got a patch or upgrade for Xbox One X, Series S or Series X, if you play it on Series X the only "advantage" you're gonna get over PS4/5 is an A.I looking at the image & increasing the brightness of light shafts & source lights, I don't know about you, but I don't trust some A.I photoshoping a pre rendered image, Sony's regular fat PS4 beats Xbox Series X in my opinion...
