I blubbed at the Basle game. i blubbed at this game, and unfortunately I was half cut because of the amount of time it took me to get a tout ticket at Eindhoven because of the bars I visited to find one. I'll never see a night like this again with Boro in my lifetime. Great times then.
My time at the Riverside has dwindled over the years with work and raising a family but I'm so proud knowing that the time I i did see them week in week as a kid was the best years in boros history. What memories. UTB
Middlesbrough and Steve McLaren's finest hour they 2-0 down and out but my word that Boro team had fight, spirit, determination and they never gave in and Massimo Maccaroni well he wrote himself into Boro folklore with that fourth and what turned out to be the goal that won the tie for Boro. A night that no one will ever forget at the Riverside stadium.
