I actually don't rate books, and I abandoned GoodReads for StoryGraph a while back. 😅 I was originally thinking of making a "favourite books of 2023" video, but it stressed me out, so I've decided against it. Flowerheart is such a beautiful story! I loved it too! I tried to read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, but ended up DNF it.
I know a couple people with Storygraph. I may look into it, but since I have been on Goodreads this long, I shall not be abandoning it at all. Ahh! You didn't finish A Tree Grows in Brooklyn? That's not giving me hope for it. My Mother-in-law loves it so dearly, so I'll give it a chance. Not sure when I'll get to it, but I wanted to read it last year and pushed it aside. This is the year.
This was great. I love your book reviews and even though I’ve never been a reader, i get inspired to read some of your recommendations. I hear such great things about Agatha Christi books. Need to get into them. Marmee sounds so intriguing coming from the mom’s point of view!

You could always do audiobooks while cleaning and cooking if that helps! About half of the books I "read" are!!!
