    This is very confusing case. Court is confused, 4 judges to 3 judges decision. Adnan deserves a new case trial. New Trial does not mean Adnan is innnocent or guilty. There are holes in the case. Two courts have decided he deserves new trial. Last court ---- 3 judges vs 4 judges is a split court decision , not a unanimous decision. A new trial is definitely needed. Any one seeking new trial obviously does not mean that seeker is saying that Adnan is innocent.

      I agree so it will be clear once and for all that Adnan is indeed guilty. HBO and Undisclosed are so biased they lied and ommited the hard facts presented at original court trials. Watch the Crime Weekly cover or Actual Social Justice covers on this case. Anybody who follow the case closely will see this is a guilty man acting as the victim. He was not convicted due to prejudice on his race or religion in '99, he got convicted because all evidences point to him, his accomplice confessed and he has no alibi but had very strong motive to kill his ex-gf.

    Part 1 is so cringe. I understand that wanted to paint a better picture of who Hae Min Lee was but they have a bad actress reading her diary and awful animations. I don’t know about you but I would NEVER want any of my private journal entries especially from my teen years made public. Of course using it in court is fine but this feels extremely disrespectful. I really feel for her family seeing this all brought up again years later. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be :/

      I started reading Hae’s diary because of a screenshot in the documentary and I wanted to read the entire sentence. I ended up reading it all because for me, it truly but tragically tells what happened to her. She talks about a side of Adnan that I never got from any documentary; someone who made her feel bad, ashamed, and made her conflicted because she had to lie to her family. She was constantly begging him for forgiveness over not being what she wanted him to be. She was also so full of love for him in an explosive, almost codependent way, but towards the end you can see her mind become conflicted when she meets Don and she struggles internally to be faithful. The final page is so sad because it literally states that she's found her soul mate In Don and Adnan was completely erased. As a guy, even reading it, I could feel how hurtful and angry that could make Adnan; for me it really was a window into the reality between them. I feel as though Adnan sounds really nice but behind it all maybe that's not who he really is; and if Jay is so shady, why were they friends? Maybe Adnan just snapped or maybe he blacked out; but we all know that choking someone to death comes from passion and for me the diary just confirmed my thoughts about him having more intense feelings. I feel as though the documentary right now is trying to pin everything on Jay or Don, but it just doesn't feel as though they had the same motive.

    No one has ever advocated for Hae! Rabia & all these podcasts & documentaries are 100% biased in Adnan’s innocence, despite evidence. None of the public narrative Rabia has spewed has brought up intimate partner violence. Adnan was & still is the #1 suspect & likely murderer as the ex-boyfriend who could not handle the breakup & strangled her in Best Buy parking lot (same parking lot they used to make love in when they were dating)! 🤷‍♂️

    • @aishakhan9835
      @aishakhan9835 Před rokem

      How can anyone possibly advocate for Hae when the prosecution literally built a tunnel into her murder, blocking investigation into possible suspects. The state withheld CRUCIAL information that could've led to catching Hae's REAL murderder and that too quite possibly in the right time frame.

    • @tori2dles
      @tori2dles Před rokem +4

      It doesn’t add up with all the evidence, though. Becky said she saw Adnan about 2:45 at the school. But that’s supposedly 9 minutes after😅 he phoned Jay to meet him at the Best Buy parking lot.
      Even if Jay picked up Adnan and drove him directly back to the HS, leaving Hae’s car at BB, there wasn’t enough time.
      Jay says he saw her crumpled body laying on her side in her car trunk. No evidence of her being back there. And lividity showed she was laid face down, not on the side.
      And both Rabia, Adnan’s family and Amy Berg have tried to give Hae a voice. They maintain that it is crucial to do a proper investigation (at least TEST THE DNA, for the love of God), so that Hae gets justice. They’ve repeatedly voice their heart break for Hae and her family.
      Just do a good investigation without crooked cops. The officer who investigated and “cracked the case” was found to have planted evidence, coerced false testimony from witnesses and committed perjury in another murder case just a few months following Adnan’s. He was punished for it and the defendant found innocent.

    • @tori2dles
      @tori2dles Před rokem

      Also, Adnan was fine with the breakup. He knew they were done the night his parents crashed the homecoming dance and confronted him and Hae. The secrecy had bothered her for some time and she had broken it off once before because of that. So he knew and, though he was initially sad, he started dating other gals within a week after they break up.

      @@BB-pg5kl - I didn’t say he’d stopped having feelings for her. And I didn’t say he wasn’t open to getting back together with her. I said he knew they were done - i.e., their relationship wasn’t going to go anywhere. Even if they got back together (which they did briefly), it had run its course.
      In later November, after the homecoming debacle and breakup, Adnan saw another gal (Anjali) and Hae was already interested in Don. But in November Adnan and Hae got back together for a few weeks. Then in December was their final breakup.
      During December, Hae wasn’t dating Don officially, but they were flirting pretty heavily. So she spent December cultivating her crush on Don and, though their official first date wasn’t till Jan. 1, Adnan certainly got the message after that. When he met Don it was a friendly convo and Adnan told Don he was “checking him out to be sure he was okay.” Don said there was no hint of jealousy or animosity - just that Adnan was looking after Hae. They were still friends and she still called on him for rides and when her car broke down.
      Now please share the link on that 3 call thing because I can’t find it and I can’t recall it. I’m not sure when you mean or in what context.
