I think neither Jae or Adnan did it. I think they used Jae against Adnan. They I'm sure threatened Jae with drug charges to make up a story. How do we know Jae knew where the car was we don't? The Police could have given him that info. There were multiple calls to the Police about an abandoned car. They knew exactly where the car was. If Jae recants it points the finger at Jae they put Jae in a position of guilt. He had his car and phone. I'm sure he probably sold drugs using his vehicle and threatened him with drug charges to make up a story. Not to mention that Haes family is hell bent on convicting Adnan. How do we know this wasn't an honor killing. Hae was not allowed to date? They need to look at the family or family members. Clearly the way she died DNA of the murderer would have been found. You can't sit here and believe that Adnan and Jae were capable of unaliving someone with NO TRACE OF DNA. They were 17 yr old kids whose lives got messed up because of their skin color. The thing about Pakistani ppl is they use their time wisely wether in jail or out. He did the right thing by educating himself it was him and him alone who got himself released. They KNOW exactly who the murderer was then and they know now but it looks bad on them hence Murphy covering her ass. Why didn't the detectives' test bottles near the murder scene? Haha. Thats a good one..
The cell phone records do match up and the issue that incoming calls are not reliable to determine location has been debunked. Didn't you know that?
Jay is frustrating, I will admit. But the spine of his story has never changed. Adnan enlisted him to pick him up after he murdered Hae, chauffer him around and finally to assist in burying Hae. This is a problem when it comes to jury trials... most people jury folks included basically believe when a person is sitting in front of them in court that they are there because they are guilty. People of the jury automatically assume from the cops to the prosecutor they have done their job and this man/women is here because they are guilty. Every once in a while you get people on a jury that actually understand this man/women in front of them is actually innocent until the state proves to you the jury with very good evidence that they are actually guilty and not guilty until this man/women and their attorney prove they are innocent.
